Blush, highlight & lipshine in one!
I must admit that I was really skeptical when I received this. It is very light and has a lot of shine, but I was pleasantly surprised. It fits perfectly with my light skin and gives me a super nice shine. At first glance, this color is perfect as a highlighter, but if you build it up, it’s also perfect as a blush. Basically a 3 in 1 product since it also looks really nice on the lips ❤️ The only downside is that it can leave spots on your makeup if you apply it directly to your face. After the first time's failure and a ruined base, I started applying it on the back of my hand, then blending it on with a brush - it worked perfectly 🌸 As a product tester for #Smartson, I received the product for free.. @Smartsontestpilot #Smartson #Maybellinenewyork @Maybelline13 viewsto leave a comment - 1 month
Not suitable for light or sensitive skin
I really hoped I would love this product but unfortunately not. It simply isn't suitable for people with light skin. I am Scandinavian and even the lightest of their products in this line is too dark for me. I also find it uncomfortable on my skin - I am quite sensitive and my skin started to tingle and sting shortly after I applied it, so it came off quickly again. **It should perhaps be noted that I am a trained cosmetologist and makeup artist. I have in-depth knowledge about skincare and makeup, but unfortunately, there will always be products that do not match different people's skin types, etc. This product is unfortunately one of those products for me. I cannot in good conscience recommend what Emma S. commented on - If a product hurts your skin, you should NEVER experiment further with this product - no matter what you change in your skincare routine. I unfortunately cannot recommend this product. It's always appreciated to get input from someone with such great experience I would like to elaborate on my previous comment. It was certainly not my intention to encourage anyone to continue using products that their skin reacts negatively to. As I also mentioned, one should not continue using a product if they suspect they cannot tolerate it. What I wanted to share, as a good piece of advice, is that I have personally experienced that products that previously did not work for me have turned out to work well after I found a good skincare routine. Here I am referring, among other things, to a concealer that has always creased when I wore it, but now works flawlessly and looks so nice after changes in my skincare routine. This advice was of course only meant in connection with products that have not previously caused discomfort or irritation, but that can be difficult to work with or do not sit nicely on the skin. I can see why it could be misunderstood, and I apologize for that - thank you for bringing this to my attention ❤️ We certainly never recommend experimenting with products that have caused discomfort and irritation on the skin. Thank you for your feedback and your good and important contribution to the conversation Have a lovely weekend!
