I bought this eyeshadow (Prästkrage) a couple of weeks ago because I wanted something to put under the brow to brighten up a bit. I do have several different shadows that work great for this, but they are all in palettes, and I felt that I wanted a single shadow for this specific purpose 😅
I don't think I've tried any eyeshadow from IDUN Minerals before, or if I did, it was a long time ago, so I don't really have anything to compare it to... but I just wonder, where is the pigment in this shadow? Nothing really happens when I use it! I don't know if it's me doing something wrong, like not understanding the formula or something. But when I take my makeup brush and try to pick up product, hardly anything comes with it, it feels like it's super tightly packed. I have to repeat the process several times to see any difference under the brow. And I want it to be relatively discreet, just as a little highlighted effect, but matte.
The color looks otherwise perfect for how I envisioned it. I think the ad pictures reflect the actual color well. I also like this classic format for the single shadow, the packaging feels solid and looks pretty nice too. So it's really a shame that it totally flopped for me, because I thought I was playing my cards safe when I chose IDUN. I'm wondering if I might need to use a different application method, like a sponge or finger, but I just feel like it's a bit cumbersome that it should be necessary. And it actually says that it should be "a powder consistency that adheres easily to the skin", and that you SHOULD apply with a brush...? Unfortunately, I can't give more than two stars, because this purchase was basically pointless for me 😢
