This product is neither a hit nor a miss for me. It does its job, but I wasnât completely sold. Unfortunately, the scent was not a hit â it doesnât smell like classic sunscreen, but has a special scent that I personally didnât really like. However, it has been perfect for my hands where I have atopic eczema. This product came along to a family gathering and several hours out on the balcony, which actually turned out to be the perfect opportunity to test it on different skin types âïž We tested it both on my sensitive skin and on skin without sensitivity, and it worked really well for everyone. What I like most about this sunscreen is that it doesnât have that typical strong sunscreen smell that some products can have and that sometimes lingers on the skin for a long time. Perfect SPF under makeup!!
FINALLY I have found an SPF that actually works under makeup and doesnât start to roll đđ The texture is light and smooth without feeling heavy or sticky on the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves no white cast. I also find that it is fragrance-free or has a very mild scent, which suits my skin perfectly. My skin usually reacts a bit to fragranced products, but with this product, my skin didnât react at all! On the skin, it feels moisturizing while not becoming oily during the day. Makeup sits so nicely on top and stays looking good without separating or flaking!! I also like the design of the packaging! The narrow nozzle makes it super easy to get out the right amount of product without mess. Grippy primer
I just bought Maybelline Grippy Serum and tried it since Iâve heard so many good things about it BUT I have mixed feelings. First and foremost, it feels very nice on the skin â itâs light, moisturizing, and gives a nice glow right after application. It actually reminds me a bit of e.l.f. Grip Primer in the feel, which I like. But I have to be honest, I expected more from this product. During the day, I noticed that my makeup didnât hold up as well as I had hoped. Especially around the mouth and nose, I could see my foundation starting to fade and separate a bit. Soooo fresh!!
The scent is really nice and summery â it smells exactly like the perfume, which I really appreciate. It feels fresh, sweet, and very youthful to me. Itâs not sugary / candy sweet but more fruity/floral sweet. Unfortunately, it doesnât last all day, so you need to spray again during the day if you want to keep smelling good. My latest bleaching + toning
Did highlights on my quite dark hair and tried Garnier Truly Blond L+++ Bleach Extra Lightener. This bleach surprised me as it didn't damage my hair like most bleaches do. I didn't think it would get this light, so I was a bit surprised đ Right now it's a bit yellow, but I toned with Wella Professionals Color Touch Pure Naturals Icy and it will even out after a few weeks. Won this a couple of years ago (not from Lyko) and just broke up with it for hands and armsđ for face, neck, and dĂ©colletage it could NOT be usedđ Wanted it for starting pigment spots, which it was supposed to be excellent against as the anti-aging night cream it is marketed as. What a letdown! Tried to slowly get used to it, but it burned and stung like crazyđ„ Down on my neck, it gave me red, itchy rashes in the first week = eczemađ€Ź Of course, I stopped using it right there, but my skin never got used to itđ€„ The eczema came back time and time again - couldn't use an exfoliating product in that spot for a WHOLE YEAR! Test Pilot
I have been testing these serums for several weeks. The first thing I think of is the scent, it is quite a strong scent on both, so if you are a bit sensitive to that, these might not be the absolute best products for you, but I personally appreciate the scents, they feel fresh and invigorating. KĂ©rastase 8H Overnight Serum I use the serum as the description says every day before I go to bed. I also tend to use it after I shower along with my other products. It has a lovely creamy consistency and as mentioned, the scent is super fresh. My hair feels smooth and manageable in the morning. I feel like it gets more shine. But I have quite frizzy hair at times, and then I feel like it doesn't quite tame the frizz. KĂ©rastase Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant I also apply this one as the description says, about 2 pipettes to the scalp. I usually use a brush to distribute the serum more after Iâve applied it. I donât think it weighs my hair down. I get almost more volume when I use it than when I skip it. Iâm not sure if it makes my hair grow since I havenât seen any significant difference in my hair, however, I feel that my hair has become thicker as if it feels better at the scalp, which is a big plus since I think my hair can get a bit limp and dull. Based on the price, it brings the rating down a bit, I feel that you can achieve similar results with a lower price tag. But if you want luxurious good products and are willing to pay, these are products that do their job and feel luxurious.
