My latest bleaching + toning
Did highlights on my quite dark hair and tried Garnier Truly Blond L+++ Bleach Extra Lightener. This bleach surprised me as it didn't damage my hair like most bleaches do. I didn't think it would get this light, so I was a bit surprised 😅 Right now it's a bit yellow, but I toned with Wella Professionals Color Touch Pure Naturals Icy and it will even out after a few weeks. Stings and burns like🔥
Won this a couple of years ago (not from Lyko) and just broke up with it for hands and arms😆 for face, neck, and décolletage it could NOT be used👎 Wanted it for starting pigment spots, which it was supposed to be excellent against as the anti-aging night cream it is marketed as. What a letdown! Tried to slowly get used to it, but it burned and stung like crazy🔥 Down on my neck, it gave me red, itchy rashes in the first week = eczema🤬 Of course, I stopped using it right there, but my skin never got used to it🤥 The eczema came back time and time again - couldn't use an exfoliating product in that spot for a WHOLE YEAR! Test Pilot
I have been testing these serums for several weeks. The first thing I think of is the scent, it is quite a strong scent on both, so if you are a bit sensitive to that, these might not be the absolute best products for you, but I personally appreciate the scents, they feel fresh and invigorating. Kérastase 8H Overnight Serum I use the serum as the description says every day before I go to bed. I also tend to use it after I shower along with my other products. It has a lovely creamy consistency and as mentioned, the scent is super fresh. My hair feels smooth and manageable in the morning. I feel like it gets more shine. But I have quite frizzy hair at times, and then I feel like it doesn't quite tame the frizz. Kérastase Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant I also apply this one as the description says, about 2 pipettes to the scalp. I usually use a brush to distribute the serum more after I’ve applied it. I don’t think it weighs my hair down. I get almost more volume when I use it than when I skip it. I’m not sure if it makes my hair grow since I haven’t seen any significant difference in my hair, however, I feel that my hair has become thicker as if it feels better at the scalp, which is a big plus since I think my hair can get a bit limp and dull. Based on the price, it brings the rating down a bit, I feel that you can achieve similar results with a lower price tag. But if you want luxurious good products and are willing to pay, these are products that do their job and feel luxurious. Sundae foaming body wash
This body wash is absolutely amazing! It smells good, looks like cream, and makes your skin softer than ever! It is everything you need in a body wash and is perfect for the whole family since it is both fun and smells good, also perfect to give as a gift! This is my second bottle I’ve bought from this series, and I highly recommend it! My personal favorite is probably strawberrys and creme because it smells so incredibly good! I have issues with often getting razor bumps when I shave my body (it’s like small red bumps that can occur when shaving), so here comes a tip to avoid it: This may sound strange, but the best kind of razors I’ve used for shaving my body are actually the ones you use for facial hair or eyebrows. I’m not trained in this, but I’ve read a bit about it and have learned that the best way to avoid these bumps is to use a razor with only one blade, that’s why I use eyebrow razors since they are cheap and good. The brand doesn’t matter, so if you look around a bit, you can find quite cheap ones, though they get dull quickly, but since they are so cheap, I don’t think it’s a problem. Mine are bought at Dollarstore, it was a two-pack that was half price and only cost 5kr, so 2.5kr each! Here’s my shaving routine: (Don’t use this method to shave near the intimate area!) 1. Rinse your body in warm water for a few minutes or lie in a warm bath for about 5 minutes 2. Apply sundaes foaming body wash to the area you want to shave, I use it instead of shaving foam 3. Use the eyebrow razor and start shaving! 4. Are you looking for a hair oil that smells like you just came from the hairdresser, then you have found the right one! It smells incredibly good, a bit on the sweeter side but not like candy. I love this because it doesn't get greasy if you take just the right amount of product, I have fine Scandinavian hair and use 1 pump for the whole hair. But sometimes the hair feels really dry, and then I usually take 2-2.5 pumps so the hair can soak it up overnight, and the next morning the hair is super soft without getting greasy/oily. I think it is definitely worth the price considering how long-lasting it is.
