The first thing I have to mention is the packaging – it’s incredibly cute and detailed, almost like a little chocolate dessert. 🤎 The lip gloss itself has a fairly deep brownish-red color, but on the lips it becomes much lighter and more transparent. It gives a very nice, shiny, and almost glass-like finish. ✨ It feels comfortable on the lips and has an incredibly good chocolate scent 🍫 It also tastes a bit sweet, but without the typical artificial or chemical taste that some lip products can have. ⭐️⭐️ Unfortunately not for me
I had hoped that Face Formula Nova Cream SPF 30+ would suit my skin, but unfortunately this product was a disappointment for me. The cream has a rather thick consistency, and I have to press the pump many times to get enough product for the whole face. The consistency also feels very greasy on my skin. After application, the skin becomes very shiny, and the cream leaves quite a sticky feeling. I have combination skin leaning towards dry, but even on my skin the finish is too greasy and shiny. The biggest problem for me, however, is that the cream starts to roll off the skin and form small clumps. This makes it difficult to use daily, especially since a sunscreen must be applied in sufficient quantity. The scent reminds me of a classic sunscreen. It is noticeable but not something that particularly bothers me. A big plus is that the cream does not sting my eyes, which I appreciate in a facial sunscreen. Unfortunately, this does not outweigh the greasy and sticky feeling and the problem with the product rolling off the skin. I have tested Face Formula Blue Serum, and this serum has suited my skin very well. The serum has a fairly light and liquid gel-like consistency and a somewhat unusual blue-gray color. It spreads very easily over the skin. One full pipette is more than enough for my entire face. I have combination skin that tends to be dry, and I think the serum gives my skin very good moisture. It absorbs quickly and leaves only a minimal sticky feeling. The skin feels smooth, soft, and well-moisturized afterward, without feeling heavy or greasy. What I especially like is that the serum alone provides my skin with enough moisture. I actually don’t feel the need to use cream on top every time. The formula contains, among other things, Copper Tripeptide-1, panthenol, trehalose, and Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom), ingredients that contribute moisture and care to the skin. I have also not experienced any negative reactions. The serum does not irritate my skin and does not sting around the eyes, even when I use it quite close to the eye area. All in all, Blue Serum has suited my skin very well. Very pleasant cleansing milk
I have tested Face Formula 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk, and I like it very much 🤍 The cleansing milk has a soft and pleasant texture and is completely fragrance-free. It does not foam when massaged into the skin but instead feels creamy and mild. The manufacturer states that it can be used in several ways: as a regular facial cleanser, to remove makeup, or you can leave it on the skin for 1–2 minutes before rinsing off for a mild enzymatic effect. I have also tested it for removing makeup, and it does a very good job. It removes eye makeup well, and after cleansing, the skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable without feeling tight or dry 🥰 The only downside for me is that the product can sting the eyes if it gets directly into them. I experienced that the stinging could be felt for a while afterward. Since the cleansing milk can also be used to remove eye makeup, this is a bit of a drawback for me. The formula contains, among other things, panthenol, allantoin, aloe vera, and bioflavonoids. On the skin, I find it mild and pleasant, and I especially like that the skin feels soft after cleansing without becoming dry. All in all, this is a cleansing milk I really like. It cleans effectively, works well for makeup removal, and leaves the skin soft and comfortable. L'Oréal Paris True Match Super Blendable Foundation – 1N Neutral
I bought this foundation completely spontaneously. I suddenly felt like I needed a new foundation, and the rest is history. 😅 I chose the lightest shade available in the store – 1N Neutral. It fits my fair skin surprisingly well. It might be just a little bit light, but I don’t mind. The bottle is made of glass and has a practical pump. The consistency is quite liquid, and the scent is very faint. I usually apply it with a damp sponge by pressing the product into the skin. I have combination skin that tends to be dry, and for me, this foundation only works if the skin is very well prepared. I have to use a rich face cream and a sticky primer, then wait 15–20 minutes before applying the foundation. If I only use moisturizer, unfortunately, the result is not good. The foundation emphasizes dry patches, makes the skin feel dry, and can start to crumble during the day. The positive is that the coverage is very good. It covers redness and acne marks nicely, and the finish is matte with a slight “glow from within” effect, which I really like. Unfortunately, the demanding skin preparation outweighs the benefits for me. I bought this palette mainly because of the cool pink shades, and it did not disappoint me. It suits both a natural everyday look and a more intense evening makeup. Colors: The palette contains 2 cream shades, 4 matte, and 6 shimmering shades. The color range is mainly cool with pink, mauve, and taupe tones, but there is also a warm golden shimmer that adds some variation. Cream shades: The two cream shades blend easily and set a bit after application. The eyeshadows apply nicely on top of them, so they work very well as a base. Matte shades: The pigmentation is medium. The two darkest shades are noticeably more pigmented than the rest. Some of the matte shadows can crumble a bit during application, but they blend nicely and give an even result. Shimmering shades: Here you find both classic shimmer and more glittery sparkle shades. They lay nicely on the eyelid, do not emphasize skin texture, and actually give a smoother and more even effect. They are easy to apply both with finger and brush. Minus: Unfortunately, the golden shimmer shade is quite fragile in the palette. For me, it applies a bit flaky, so it needs to be worked in more than the other shimmering shadows. Conclusion: All in all, I really liked the palette. The color selection is well thought out, the cool pink tones are easy to combine, and it is possible to create both a discreet everyday look and a more festive makeup. My favorite eyebrow pencil
I have naturally light and quite sparse eyebrows, and in some places, there are no hairs at all. That’s why brow makeup is a regular part of my daily routine – I almost never go out without filling in my brows. 🙈 I’ve been using this eyebrow pencil for several years, and it’s still one of my favorites. I use the shade 04 Medium Brown. The pencil is automatic and has a thin tip that makes it easy to draw fine, hair-like strokes. On the other end, there’s a handy brush that makes it easy to groom the brows and achieve a natural result. The mechanism works as it should, and the thin tip has never broken, even after long use. It’s also very economical to use. The color glides easily on the skin without needing to press, and the staying power is impressive. Even on hot summer days around 30 °C, it stays put all day without smudging or fading. In the pictures, I show how I use the pencil. First, I sketch the shape of the brows, then I fill them in with small, light strokes. The whole process takes just a few minutes, and the result looks natural and nice. There is one thing I want to mention though. After the product got a new design, I noticed that 04 Medium Brown looks a bit different than the one I bought before. The new pencil seems a bit darker and has a cooler undertone, while the old one felt a bit lighter and more neutral. The difference isn’t big, but it’s visible when compared side by side. That’s why I’ve attached pictures comparing the old and new versions so you can see the difference yourself. Even though the shade seems a bit different than before, the quality is still just as good.
