LOVE EMS, but not in this..
I was so lucky to receive this LED face mask from Silk’n to test it out as #LYKOINFLUTESTER 🤍 I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. Naturally pale and get freckles easily, but rarely sun my face (to avoid wrinkles) so my freckles look more like uneven skin. Can be a bit sensitive at times, especially if products contain a lot of perfume. I have some smile lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And get some hormonal pimples/bumps now and then. But otherwise no major challenges with my skin. But I am generally very focused on taking care of my skin, especially on my face so that I can avoid problems as 🥹😇 If there’s something I am VERY interested in, it’s facial tools that can do treatments that you would normally have to spend thousands on in a salon each month - at home! In the last few years, I have used several different EMS tools, so I was very, very happy when I received this LED mask in the mail to test out for 2 months 😍👏🏻 💡 4 DIFFERENT MODES: ▪️MODE 1: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, lifting effect by energizing the facial muscles. ▪️ MODE 2: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation (both deep and surface), redness, and uneven skin tone. ▪️ MODE 3: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, deep pigmentation spots, and redness. ▪️ MODE 4: Precise and targeted treatment of acne-related redness and inflammation of the skin. ➕ EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) Level 1-8. I have now used the mask almost every single day for 2 months. I use it on completely clean and dry skin, but I like to spray a hypochlorous acid spray over the skin to disinfect it before use. I have mostly used Mode 1 and 4, along with EMS 1-3 times a week at level 8. Note: My skin is well accustomed to EMS from before, so I started directly at level 8. Normally, you start low at first and work your way up each week. The mask is soft and comfortable to wear, and easy to clean. But I think the Velcro straps are useless, especially the bottom one. I don’t quite understand why it isn’t like the top one?! I think the mask itself fits my face nicely, but it feels a bit heavy on the face, almost like it pulls the skin down a bit when you have it on - which is almost a bit counterproductive 😳 ⚡️EMS function: Basically, I love electrical muscle stimulation, and have used it a lot in the last few years with good effect. But with devices that you self-treat in the face - where you need it the most. So I was very excited to be able to do EMS hands-free, without having to hold a device to do it and at the same time be able to do other things while the face works. Meeeen, I don’t think this EMS function will replace my regular companion from Medicube. The EMS points in the mask are not evenly placed on each side of the face (because no one is perfectly symmetrical!) especially around the eyes. Which means that I have to sit and hold the mask straight to get even treatment around the eyes - even though it’s hands-free.. Additionally, there are large areas in the mask that do not have LED light, because the EMS points take up large parts of the mask. Something I think is a bit silly, as parts of the face do not get light on them. I also think the marks you get on your face from the EMS points are a noticeable disadvantage of the mask. Especially if I use it in the morning and have to go out right after - then my face is full of marks from the mask. Even though I haven’t used the EMS function. The EMS points also mean that the mask doesn’t sit completely snug against the face, which makes it very humid and clammy inside the mask after just a few minutes, as the air you breathe out comes into the mask due to the narrow hole for the mouth. The conclusion is that the concept is nice, but I think I would have preferred an LED mask without EMS over this one. After these 2 months, I can’t really see a very big difference in my skin. I haven’t used my Medicube or other strong acids for 2 months now, just this LED mask. And I think my face looks a bit more “puffy”, as I haven’t been able to use my usual EMS tool that you can also use on the neck and jaw. Something this mask doesn’t do. My few, fine lines are actually just the same as they were before. Didn’t have much pigmentation to begin with, so I see no difference there either. BUT my skin looks more even and doesn’t look as dull at the moment. And it seems like my skin is tighter, as my pores have become less visible. So I would believe this does a good job for the skin, which I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten without this. ❤️ Easy to use/understand ❤️ Good battery life ❤️ It has a timer and turns off after 10 minutes ❤️ No downtime/sore skin after use ❤️ Perfect to take on trips ❤️ Made my skin more even and glowy in 2 months ❤️ Convenient to use while doing housework/cooking. 👎🏻 I wish the blue LED light was in the mask, not on the remote. I want to use it hands-free. 👎🏻 I wish it didn’t have EMS. 👎🏻 The Velcro is not good 👎🏻 Feels heavy on the face 👎🏻 The marks it leaves on the face after use 👎🏻 Not much difference in my fine lines after 2 months I will continue to use it going forward, but only the LED lights. So I will continue with my Medicube for EMS. And continue to wish for an LED mask with only LED lights. Because I love the lovely spa feeling of being able to do such treatments at home, especially while I can do other things at the same time - or just lie on the couch and relax. And my skin has absolutely not gotten worse, so I absolutely believe this can help prevent future lines, pigmentation, and signs of aging if I just keep using it. I definitely wouldn’t want to be without it in my skincare routine. And I am very excited to see if I will see results after 2 more months! I don’t give 3 stars because the mask is bad, because it is absolutely not bad! There are just some things I would change to give it more stars 😇🤍 #SILKNTranslated from norwegian

Erborian's CC Red Correct has been a huge favorite of mine for so many years. Perfect for everyday as a covering day cream or for parties as a primer before foundation. I received this as a gift, but I have bought it myself for all the years before this 🥰 #erborian #lykoreviewTranslated from norwegian

Totally awesome if only used as needed 🩵
I was so lucky to receive the “Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream” from SAWE to test it out as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. Along with the “Radiant Revive Eye Cream” and the “Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum” from the same brand, which I have used together with this cream during the testing period. I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have a few lines around my eyes, but I don’t have particularly large bags or dark circles under my eyes. And I get a few pimples/bumps now and then. I like that the cream is in a tube, as it is more hygienic than in a jar. And it’s easy to cut open to use the last bit of the product when it’s getting low. Otherwise, a nice and sleek packaging! The cream also has no noticeable scent. The consistency of the cream is thick and almost a bit “dry.” It reminds me a bit of cold cream. Something I quickly understand is the case when I read about it, as it can be used as needed, or daily in cold climates to repair, soothe, hydrate, and protect the skin. And okay, I live in Finnmark, but it’s not THAT cold here now that I think this was the right time to use it - especially not every day over a longer period 😅 I have used the cream together with the other products in the line over a longer period, both morning and night. Since the cream is quite thick and “dry,” it is quite difficult to spread and distribute evenly on the skin. The skin feels very soft after application, and looks almost a bit matte (see the video). It almost feels like a protective layer is forming over the face. Something that doesn’t give me the moist feeling I usually get from a night cream or day cream. But I definitely see improvements in redness and irritation in the skin when I have used this as a night cream. So there’s no doubt that it contains good ingredients for my skin that calm it down. Which is nice to know! 🩵 As a day cream under makeup, I didn’t find it worked very well. As it can pill if you apply too much cream or if it reacts “wrongly” with other products. I will continue to use this cream in short periods when, for example, my skin barrier is weak or the skin needs to heal. And I should mention that I have used it quite a bit on eczema on my arms and neck, which has worked great. As it lays down like a protective barrier, which makes me itch less and helps the skin heal faster. It also works great as a hand cream and otherwise on dry areas of the body. So I might like it better on the body than on the face. Since eczema and itching on the body is something I struggle more with than on the face. But if you set aside the thought that this is a day/night cream, and understand that this is a cream that only needs to be used as needed, when the skin is fragile and damaged (or when it’s freezing cold outside) - then it’s heeel super! The price isn’t so bad either, considering how little you need to use and that you don’t have to use it every day. I will continue to use it as needed and only in the evening on my face, but gladly daily on the rest of my body. Big plus that it doesn’t contain fragrance and is great for sensitive skin! Moisture boost for the eyes!
I was so lucky to receive the “Radiant Revive Eye Cream” from SAWE to test it out as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. Along with the “Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum” and “Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream” from the same brand, which I have used together with this eye cream during the testing period. I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have some lines around my eyes, but I don’t have particularly large bags or dark circles under my eyes. And I get a few pimples/bumps now and then. I like that the eye cream is in a tube, as it is more hygienic than in a jar. And that I can cut it open to use the last bit of the product when it gets close to empty. Otherwise, a lovely and stylish packaging! I appreciate that it can actually stand, as many eye creams I have in tubes are long and don’t stand very steadily on the bathroom shelf. I also really like how easy it is to apply eye cream with this, compared to when you have to apply an eye cream from a jar. The eye cream also has no noticeable scent. The consistency of the eye cream is just perfect, neither too thick nor too thin - and a bit creamy. It absorbs without fully soaking in, so the eye area feels moisturized for a long time after application - something I love. It also doesn’t feel sticky or tacky around the eyes. Easy to spread evenly. I have used the eye cream together with the other products in the series for a longer period, both morning and night. Personally, I love a slightly creamy eye cream that provides a lot of moisture - which this one absolutely does. Just remember to be good at massaging and gently patting it into the skin until it is absorbed. Otherwise, it can sit on the skin as an extra layer, which doesn’t work so well under makeup. I have also used it as an eye mask on some evenings, where I applied an extra thick layer around the eyes - which has also worked great for an extra moisture boost around the eyes 💦 But I must admit that I like it best in my evening routine, as I don’t always find it looks as nice under makeup (could 100% be because it has been used together with the “Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream,” which doesn’t always work as well under makeup!) But I will test it out a bit more under makeup going forward, with my regular day cream to see if it works better. And even though I don’t notice any big differences in the lines I have around my eyes - it is definitely preventive in terms of a lot of moisture. Which is really needed at the age of 34! So this will be a staple product in my evening routine going forward. I really like how the eye area feels in the morning after using this 🩵 Big plus that it doesn’t contain fragrance and is suitable for sensitive skin! A bit unsure if I would buy it again when this runs out. As I think it is a bit pricey considering the size. But it could be that I see better results after using it consistently for several weeks. So time will tell 🥰 Stars: ⭐⭐⭐ #SAWETranslated from norwegian

Good ingredients but quite expensive!
I was so lucky to receive the Hyaluronic Catalyst Power Serum from SAWE to test as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. Also the “Radiant Revive Eye Cream” and “Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream” from the same brand, which I have used together with this serum during the testing period 🩵 I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have some lines around my eyes, but I don’t have particularly big bags or dark circles under my eyes. And I get a few pimples/bumps now and then. A moisturizing serum is a staple in my daily morning and evening routine. Therefore, I was very excited about this serum packed full of different hyaluronic acids in different molecular forms + niacinamide. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous in frosted glass with a dropper. Looks very sleek and chic in the bathroom, especially together with the other products in the same series 🤩 The consistency of the serum is lovely and thin. Easy to get evenly distributed over the face and neck. Doesn’t feel sticky or tacky on the skin after application, and absorbs quickly (important to apply on damp skin). But it doesn’t give a moisturized “glow” like many of my regular moisturizing serums do after application. But the skin feels hydrated. No noticeable scent on the product either. I have used the serum - along with the other products in the series, over a longer period - both morning and evening. And even though I am a bit dry in the skin at the moment, I don’t notice a big difference in my skin after this period. But I should mention that I have tested the serum twice with another moisturizer, which I think gave better results than with the “Derm-Alert Barrier Repair Cream” from SAWE. I feel like my skin feels MUCH more hydrated then. So it could be that I just tested the serum with the wrong products on top. I believe this serum will also work well with other active serums. So I will be testing the serum more with other products going forward, as I really have high hopes for it considering the price. And it absolutely hasn’t made my skin drier or given me any breakouts. The main downside is that my favorite moisturizing serum costs less than half the price of this one.. Big plus that it doesn’t contain fragrance and is suitable for sensitive skin! Perfect tan color for very fair skin 👏🏻
New favorite in my self-tanning routine! 🩷 The color turned out perfect for my chalk-white skin, and it didn't turn orange or patchy. The smell was really nice - even though the self-tanner smell comes through a bit when it's dried. I washed it off after 8.5 hours (hands after 2 hours). #lykoreview Glöd Sophie EliseTranslated from norwegian

Finally (!!) cracked the code 🥹👏🏻
I was so lucky to receive Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💚 I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. A bit sensitive at times if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have a few lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And I get a few pimples/bumps now and then. To be honest, I have tested this before. DID NOT get it to work on my skin 🥲 But this time I decided to do a little research and test it out for several days with different techniques - until I found the “right” way to use it. Because this is apparently a primer that you either love or hate, depending on the right technique. Guess what? I have finally cracked the code - at least for my skin 🥹👏🏻👏🏻 First of all, this is a primer with both hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. So skincare! 😍 The first and biggest mistake I made with this is applying other moisture serums and moisturizers before I applied the primer. That’s the first mistake people make, I think - myself included. It becomes butter on bacon and usually ends up with a lot of pilling of both skincare and makeup along the way. Less is more, even when it comes to skincare 😂 So step number one; Pat a thin toner into the entire face as the only prep before the primer. I do this just so the skincare in the primer can penetrate deeper into the skin, giving lots of moisture. Then I pump out 2 pumps of primer onto my hand and distribute it all over my face. The consistency is a light gel. At first, it is very easy to spread, but becomes sticky the more you work it into the skin. I apply it first like a moisturizer, before I gently pat it in until I feel it starting to get sticky. This also helps the primer press into fine lines and pores. Then I wait 1 minute before I apply makeup over it. When I apply foundation/skin tint and concealer over, I always press the products in with a brush. I never drag the brush over the skin!! Pilling of skin/makeup can still happen if you have dry skin or haven’t exfoliated in a while, which is more likely to happen if you drag the brush over the face. Important to remember 🥹 And these are the steps that have worked perfectly for me and this primer 💚 The result on my makeup after a whole day at work was truly impressive. The smile line I have next to my mouth, where the makeup ALWAYS creases - was still completely smooth when I got home from work!! 😮 And that’s not a given here. So I finally understand the hype around this primer and will actually continue to use it. Because wow, what an insane result. The only negative thing I have to say is that I feel like my skin feels a bit “heavier” with this on. It could be that it’s because I’m not used to using primers regularly. But my skin doesn’t feel dry, just a bit “tight” in a way. As if I have on a slightly thicker layer of makeup than I usually wear. Therefore, I think that what is stated in the description about it not giving a “heavy feeling” doesn’t quite hold true. Also, I think the price is very high compared to how little product you get, especially in a 10ml. The next largest at 45ml is also maybe a little product, in relation to the price. But it’s nice to wish for as a birthday or Christmas gift 😍 Can absolutely be recommended - if you use it correctly! 💚 #MILKMAKEUPTranslated from norwegian
