I tested the new pencil from NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP. I liked that the tip is very precise for contouring the lips. I also tried this marble blush from Moira and I am in love with it, it is so beautiful! I also used it as eyeshadow and I thought it looked natural and very pretty. What do you think? Last but not least, the mascara from maybelline is my new favorite; it gave beautiful volume and separated my lashes just the way I like them. This Moira lip pencil is supposed to give the lips fullness, so it stings, which was quite different for me. I've already tried the YSL gloss, but a lip pencil with the same purpose is new for me. Being a sensitive and dry skin skin girlie, I always look for something that may not dry my skin out and cause breakouts. @fentybeauty makeup extending spray claims to be gentle (no alcohol or strong scent), it doesn’t irritate and can help your makeup last through a long day. My thoughts are 🫰🏻 My makeup tends to look more blended and just “put together,” not cakey which is definitely in my most desired goals and also it didn’t break me out. On the order hand, it doesn’t quite hit that “all-day, 12-hour” mark for me. I observed my makeup started to fade after few hours and I had to take some touch ups. Many creams for curly hair have either been sticky or left a hard surface on the curls that I don't like. Here are some positive thoughts about Fenty's curl cream: Doesn't stick Smells oootroliiigt Affordable - a lot for the money and goes a little for one use (used 5 times and so far rac{1}{4} of the packaging is left) Good and clear instructions on how to use the product Moisturizes the hair and the curls hold well throughout the day Less frizz and flyaway hairs However, my hair is thick and needs a lot of moisture to keep the curls in shape and not become frizzy. The next day I need to apply a bit to the ends and the outer parts of the hair to reshape the curls again. I have long, thick, and naturally curly hair that easily gets frizzy, so I had high hopes for The Homecurl Curl-Defining Cream. The scent is really nice, fresh, and pleasant without being too strong, which I appreciate. The product comes in a jar, which works, but I would have preferred a tube or pump bottle. It would have made it easier to dose and more hygienic, especially when using the product with wet hands. As for the results, I notice that the curls are definitely enhanced and the frizz is tamed, which is a big plus. The hair looks more defined and gathered, but unfortunately, I don't really like the feeling it leaves in the lengths. No matter how little or much I take, or how I apply it (on wet or towel-dried hair), the hair becomes a bit crispy and rough when it dries. I would have wished for a softer and more natural feel, especially since my curls are otherwise quite dry. In summary, I think it’s a product with many good qualities, nice scent, great results, and less frizz, but I wish the hair felt softer and more moisturized afterward. Plumping the hair a lot!
I have been using this treatment (conditioner/hair mask) for a few weeks now and I really like it! I have naturally curly hair, typically Scandinavian with many fine hair strands, a lot of natural volume, and I am actually light blonde but regularly dye my hair brown. The condition of my hair - dry and damaged right now with a need for both a cut and extra love! I wash my hair three days a week and avoid heat tools as much as possible on a daily basis. SCENT: 5/5 It smells absolutely incredible and the scent lingers nicely after the shower! I don’t find that this has such a strongly perfumed scent, so if you’re not very sensitive, this works! PRODUCT: 3/5 It’s a big advantage that this has several areas of use, both as a hair mask that replaces conditioner (that’s mainly how I’ve used it) but also that you can use it as a leave-in for an extra treatment for the hair. However, I think it requires a lot of product when applied as a conditioner, my hair absorbs it so quickly, and since it’s a bit pricey, it stings a little to use more of this than I usually do with conditioner. In a few weeks with 3 washes/week, more than half of the tube has been used. However, as a leave-in, it doesn’t require as much! DESIGN: 5/5 I prefer conditioner in tubes like this, I think it’s absolutely the easiest to use in the shower, and I, who travel a lot for work, prefer to have products in tubes in my toiletry bag! And everything is also sleek and a nice detail in the shower. It’s also made of material that prevents it from becoming slippery when wet, big plus!! RESULT: 4/5 For me, who has curly hair, it’s easy to tell if there’s good moisture in the product! Little moisture - bad or non-existent curls. Good moisture - nice, even, and lively curls. And this gives my hair FIIINE curls, so much so that I’ve received several compliments for them and many who don’t believe they’re natural. And above all, it plumps the hair to a level I’ve never experienced before, after the first wash my hair felt almost twice as thick! I’ve used this in combination with Fenty Beauty Rich One Moisture shampoo, and it’s an INCREDIBLE combo! The only reason it gets 4/5 is that I don’t get any shine? My hair is less shiny now than before I started using it. But that’s not the most important thing for me, but getting moisture and hair that doesn’t tangle is my priority, and there it delivers on top! I have been using this lovely shampoo for a few weeks now, and I really like it! The lather feels soft and moisturizing, a sensation I have never experienced from a shampoo before! DESIGN: 3.5/5 Aesthetically, the bottle is 5/5 for me, it is sleek and incredibly robust and feels so luxurious. However, the pump is very stiff, I don’t know if it’s just mine, but I have to press quite hard to push it down, and it also rises slowly again. I really love the bottle, but it feels a bit like you are also paying extra for that luxury. I would love it if there were refills for the bottle so you wouldn’t have to “pay for it again” but still get the product. RESULT: 4/5 My hair really loves this shampoo! It is so clear on my hair whether it works or not, in terms of volume and curls. What I experience is that my hair becomes so full, and that happened already after the first wash that my hair felt thicker. It also keeps my hair clean and fresh between washes, and I don’t use dry shampoo at all (and I work out and get sweaty every day). However, I do miss the shine and moisture that it promises, i.e., when I read what it is actually supposed to do for the hair, I haven’t really experienced that. I am also not dry in my scalp or have any issues that need to be addressed except for the lengths. But it cleans the hair properly without drying it out, keeps the hair clean for a long time, and gives me the volume I usually have with a good shampoo! I had the opportunity as a Lykoinfluencer to test The Homecurl Curl-Defining Cream from Fenty Beauty. A little info about my hair: - Natural curls that vary every day - More or less fluffy evenly - Has a life of its own, simply put For me, it was a completely new product and a name I hadn't heard before. Which made it extra fun to test. The first impression of the product was that it smelled good even before I opened the packaging. Convenient packaging with the lid and a self-standing container. It's easy to get the right amount of product and to access the product in a convenient way. Nothing there that you miss when the product starts to run out. I've used it several times now, and since you don't need much product for a good result, it's a very economical product and will last a long time. I've used it on wet hair and let it air dry. The packaging has a good and clear picture instruction on how to use the product. And it helps! Creates a nicer result. When air drying the hair, the curls can become a bit crispy, but if you scrunch them once, it disappears and gives more life to the curls again, and the frizz calms down too. The curls also hold up pretty well the next day. The scent of the product is fantastic and leaves a pleasant smell in the hair after use. Simply a fantastic product at a reasonable price. Really good cream for us curly girls 😘
Fun to have a cream that doesn't weigh you down! 👏 My hair is naturally very curly, and with that comes maaassive frizz! I think the cream does a pretty good job with the frizz, and since the ends of my hair are bleached and the upper part is uncolored, I could notice a difference in how it affected my hair. The uncolored hair didn't want as much product as the bleached hair, it took an eeeevvverlasting time to dry if I used too much product! The bleached hair, however, didn't complain, it just screams for more moisture! 😉 In the video, I'm using a hairdryer (with a nozzle for curly hair), it gives more volume but I think the actual curls don't turn out quite as nice then. It could also depend on the user who might need to refine the technique a bit 🤭 In the pictures, I've let my hair air dry 🌬 Normally, my hair doesn't usually like cream products that much, gel usually works best, but this cream actually succeeded! This product is truly a hero in a tube! I was so surprised at how good my hair felt already after the first use. This product is supposed to work both as a hair mask and as a leave-in cream, but since I have very thin and fine hair, I have only used it as a mask that is rinsed out since it is recommended as a leave-in cream for thicker and drier hair. They also say that you can replace this product with conditioner, so I have done that and it has worked super! I have tried using it every hair wash as a conditioner and also using it as a hair mask some showers and finishing with conditioner, as I would have done with a regular wash. But I actually prefer to use it as a conditioner, you really don’t need any “regular” conditioner afterwards, it gets the job done! The hair is left moisturized, shiny, and looks so healthy. I have quite a few split ends and can easily get dry and frizzy at the ends, but I feel that it completely disappears with this! Split ends are of course still there, but they don’t feel dry and are not nearly as visible. It feels almost like you’ve been to the hairdresser after a wash! 🤩 I am very excited to continue using this product and see how the hair will develop and feel after a longer time. This shampoo really exceeded all my expectations! I have typically Scandinavian and thin hair, and my scalp gets very oily very easily, usually stays clean for a maximum of 2 days, with some shampoos only one day. But with this shampoo, my hair is completely clean for 3 days! Besides making the hair clean, it also becomes soft, manageable, and feels moisturized. I wash my hair 2 times a week and always shampoo 2 times in the shower. During the second shampooing, this shampoo lathers up really well, and you get far with a little product! Besides the product being good, I also LOVE the packaging, I really appreciate that it has a pump! So easy to deal with when you’re standing with wet hands in the shower. The only negative I’ve experienced with this product is the scent, unfortunately, I don’t like it at all... hard to explain how it smells, but I think it’s almost a bit "old lady" in scent 😬 But all in all, an absolutely incredible shampoo that I will definitely continue to use!
