Great product for daily use
I received two Carmex lip balm sticks to test, and I have really enjoyed both. One was the Tropical Stick with a stronger SPF, and this one with the absolutely lovely pomegranate flavor will definitely be part of my daily routine. The lip balm has a pretty basic thin consistency, not too watery and not too thick. It also stays on the lips for a long time, so you don’t have to constantly apply a new layer! Really good protection for lips
I tested this #carmex Tropical Stick lip balm as part of #lykoinflutester product testing. The product glides easily on the lips and feels like it creates a protective layer right away, which also soothes the lips. The lip balm is waxier, not watery, so it feels "thick" on the lips, but not uncomfortable. It also stays on the lips for a long time, so you don't have to constantly apply a new layer! Even though the word tropical is in the name, this has only been tested in -20 degree frost so far, and even in winter conditions, this lip balm has been a big lifesaver! Generally, lip balms feel like they freeze on the lips, causing worse chapping, but this one doesn't feel like it freezes but rather creates a protective layer that quickly soothes already chapped lips. New favorite lip balm
I got these #carmex in Lip Balm Minis lip balms to test as part of #lykoinflutester product testing. I can't think of anything negative to say about them! The product is easy to apply to the lips with the applicator, and even though the lip balm comes out of the tube as a thin strip, it melts right onto the lips and feels moisturizing☁️ The scents are delicious, candy-like in a positive way. Cherry has become my favorite of all🍒 The product doesn't feel too thick on the lips, but it also doesn't disappear right away, so you don't have to keep reapplying it all the time. The product seems to keep the lips moisturized for a long time! Convenient and economical!
The small Carmex lip balms are convenient to take anywhere. In this three-pack, my absolute favorite is Pineapple Mint, while Cherry is not to my liking. But these are matters of taste! The lip balms have a low SPF (SPF15) and a screw cap, which makes it easy to close the tube tightly so it doesn't squeeze out everywhere when pressed, for example, in a bag with other items. The products have a dome-shaped applicator, which I think has room for improvement. Received this from Lyko as part of their test pilot program. Tested this for just over 1 month and think the product does its job. Felt no scent at all which is totally okay for me, but a bit boring. The product is long-lasting and quite waxy, but I really feel that there is a layer on the lips. Unlike another stick I tested, this one tingles much less on the lips and doesn't sting. The product has worked wonders on the slopes, so great with high SPF! I would recommend having some serum or something moisturizing under a layer of lip balm, then you get the best results! Like setting fire to your lips
No no no😭😭😭 oh my god I wanted to like this because it smells so good! And I was so happy with the Carmex minis that were more liquid. But like, this was like setting fire to my lips, it hurt and burned so much. I tried it several times but it felt the same every time I used it. I even let someone else in the family try it and she experienced the same thing. The lip balm is thick and feels quite waxy on the lips, which I also didn't think felt great. I can strongly recommend Carmex in a tube instead of this. I’ve been so lucky to #lykoinflytester test this #carmex stick with a lovely tropical scent 💛 This instantly cares for and moisturizes the lips upon application as it both soothes and protects against dry and chapped lips. The lips feel fresh, soft, and plump. Since the stick contains water-resistant ingredients, it makes it perfect for winter and extreme weather conditions. Affordable and good
I received these cute little lip balms as part of Lyko's test pilot. Oh my God, they exceeded my expectations. I was initially quite negative due to previous use of Carmex as I experienced that they stung, burned, and dried out my lips. But these 3 made previous experiences feel like a distant memory. First and foremost, they look super cute, but they also smell incredibly good, a nice strong scent that you can smell but not be overwhelmed by. They all feel the same on the lips, and you only need a little product to cover the entire lips. You get soft lips without it stinging or causing discomfort (like some Carmex tends to do). The product is incredibly affordable and also works exceptionally well to use before going to bed, patting in a toner or moisturizing serum on the lips and then applying a layer of Carmex, then you'll wake up with soft and nice lips. I have only had normal-dry lips that you can get in winter, so I don't know how it works if you have dry and chapped lips or if you're so dry that your lips bleed. I have been so incredibly excited to test this #carmex Pomegranate Sticken that #lykoinflutester 👏🏼 This is the same good old formula consisting of cocoa butter, lanolin & camphor that most people know. But now with a lovely pomegranate flavor and SPF 15 ☀️ So- hello, so lovely! It smells amaaazing and gives a beautiful glow and moisture to the lips, while also protecting against UV. With this, I absolutely do not need to worry about sore, chapped, and dry lips with regular application! Especially now in winter, this is a MUST HAVE for me, and throughout the year as I work as a nurse and am often indoors in dry air! I always have lip balm in my pocket, bag, bedside table, car, and at work. I experience relief and plenty of moisture immediately after application, and that it holds onto moisture 💛 This contributes to long-lasting protection against external stressors like wind, sun, cold, and dryness! Makes the lips soft, but needs to be applied quite often. Love that there is a scent, especially cherry! 🍒 Protects the lips with SPF, without giving a sunscreen taste in the mouth. A good choice in terms of price and fun with scent from the lips throughout the day. Nice to have in the bag. What brings it down a bit for me is the consistency, and that they aren't very long-lasting on the lips (often need reapplication). Good lip balm with SPF
Provides good moisture and has a slight scent of pomegranate. Tingles a bit on the lips (the brand of Carmex) when you apply it - I'm a fan of that. Easy to apply, doesn't smudge, and has a good mechanism to "twist up more product" that gives good control with a button you can stop at. Not a full score from me as I've experienced that you become a bit dependent on it. As soon as you stop, the lips may feel drier than before you started using it. Great taste and good SPF
I've been testing this along with some other products from Carmex for a few weeks now, and this is ABSOLUTELY my favorite! New flavor that we've gotten to sneak test a bit, and this one was super tasty! The product is colorless and a bit thicker in consistency. I actually prefer a little lighter, but the high SPF still gives me full points 😍 This will be on my lips not just in spring/winter for hydration but also in summer as protection 😍 I'm also going to have baby number 2 this summer, so this will be coming along in the diaper bag 😍 A few years ago, it was harder to get Carmex, so we used to bring it back when family members had been in London, so fun that there are so many flavors now 😍 SUPER GOOD PRICE! I've been testing these beauties for a few weeks now, and they've been perfect for my dry lips! Perfect price for three small different flavors so you can have one in your toiletry bag, one in your purse, and one in your jacket 😍 The product is completely colorless and quite thick in consistency. I got to test this lip balm from Carmex that promises deep hydration and protection against external stressors like sun, wind & cold. This really feels like classic Carmex with the standard formula that stings the lips and barely hydrates, even though one of the focuses lies right there. But in this case, it feels more like it protects more than it hydrates, and that’s not entirely wrong either. So you can always use your favorite lip balm as a first layer, and then this on top when you’re going out into the snowstorm 🤷🏼♀️ The scent/taste is supposed to be of tropical fruits, it’s a pretty weak scent that disappears quickly. I've been testing this 3-pack of Carmex lip balm for a few weeks. The formula is the same as what Carmex usually has, it tingles a bit and is supposed to protect against sun, wind & cold. Big plus for spf15. Carmex doesn't moisturize, in my opinion, very well. You need to reapply a bit too often for my taste, and that's also the case with these. I love this type of packaging for lip balm. Fun with smaller size and different flavors/scents for all three. Perfect to have one in the bag, one on the nightstand & one in the car. Great for me who always needs something on my lips. Unfortunately, I won't be throwing away my standard lip balm and switching to these. Practical but strong scent
Perfect little minis to take in your bag, pocket, or jacket. I appreciate that it's a pack of 3! 👏🏻 The packaging is convenient and makes it easy to distribute the product.
