This Week's Base
Throughout the week, I've tried new as well as old products. I start by prepping my skin with the Gleeze grippy primer, which is a new primer for me. Thoughts on Gleeze will come in a separate post. Next comes the Catrice soft glam filter, which gives a bit more moisture for my skin that I apply together with Essence bright eyes, which I pat into my skin. After that, I pat in the Madara skinonym foundation with warmed hands, which I think works well and quickly. Then I apply Gleeze cheeky blush, Pink Lemonade, directly on my skin, which I pat in. It goes quickly and easily. I set it with the Guerlain micro powder, which is a new product for me, to set it a bit. I go through with the No7 eyebrow gel. I spritz on the Gleeze freeze settingspray. This Week's Base
I have 2 products that I aim to use up over the year, like Loreal Glotion, Madaras foundation, and Rose Inc Bronzer. I start by prepping the base with Glotion, which works as a luminous primer, giving an even surface and a refreshing glow without overdoing it. Then I warm up Madaras foundation with my fingers and pat it onto the skin, it goes quickly and gives an even result. Next, I apply Rose Inc Bronzer with a brush to add a bit of warmth to the base, but just a little. I take the Lyko puff to powder on with Emite makeup powder, which is light on the skin and pleasant, giving a nice result. Declutter Makeup
Makeup that I'm getting rid of because it doesn't work or is old. 🤢Glow hub cream blush, is a nice color and easy to blend out, but it feels like you have something sticky and gooey on your cheeks which is unpleasant to feel. And it smells like an old factory, it might be old... 😵💫By Terry powder, I've mentioned it before, but it hurts me... 🙂Lumene instant Glow fresh skin tint, has something of its age😥 and they are no longer available, I've had them as a color corrector and it works well. 🤔😩Sweed foundation, it's a skin tint, it's light but I don't like the finish. I can't quite put my finger on what's wrong with it. Skinonym semi-matte foundation. It is described among other things as weightless, which I think it is, you don't feel it, which I like. The consistency is quite thick but blends well into the skin. The color is a good match and gives a natural glow. It is easy to work with a sponge, brush, and with fingers. Last summer when I visited the store in Vansbro, I was lucky enough to get some samples of this lovely foundation with my purchase. I have never found a foundation that suited me before, never found the right shade or the right consistency. I want something that covers, but I often find it gets cakey and looks too made up. But this one! 😍 The color matched my skin tone perfectly #truebeige, and it melts into the skin, leaving just a flawless look. It lasts all day and is easy to wash off.
