Clean brushes and makeup brushes are magical to have 🤩 I prefer to use shampoo, which I find breaks down grease residues a bit better than mild soap, but I usually also have a soap on hand. Even though many eyeshadow brushes are used for powder products, grease and oil from the skin, primers, and foundations stick in the bristles. If you feel your brushes aren’t getting clean, you can try a little dish soap and water to see if it helps. I like my “half egg” from #makeupmekka (the purple rubber thing in the photo in the video), but you can also swirl the brushes in your hand if you want, to clean between the bristles. Yesterday I used up the last of an old #dove shampoo and a shampoo from #waterclouds that I don’t think is great for my hair (those are really good to be able to use for stuff like this! 🤗)2 products in the look469 views
