I did a new set, and it was kind of an attempt to do a bit more nude but at the same time with a touch of blue (my favorite color) But in this picture, there is a lot of regrowth because this is a week later, I couldn’t upload other pictures. Don’t know why. #blå But I was very pleased ☺️. They are built with builder gel, but my nails underneath are starting to get really long, so next time I’m thinking of doing french tips in different colors. I did these 3.5 weeks ago, one hand held a record for a long time and the other didn't hold so well! 😊 and they were super pretty! Took a long time long time. I chose not to extend the thumb to make it easier to type on the phone! If there’s something I’ve become completely obsessed with, it’s Love’n Layers for nails! 😍 The benefits are that it looks like salon nails, lasts at least 2 weeks, and doesn’t chip! Plus, it acts as a protective layer for those of us with thin nails 🤩👏🏼 My prep has always been: 1. Remove old layers with a bowl of lukewarm water and a bit of soap. 2. Remove old nail polish residue with nail polish remover. 3. Apply a layer of rock solid (to strengthen the nail while the layers are on) 4. File and shape the nail (after nail polish to reduce wear on the actual nail!) 5. Once you get the technique of not getting too close to the edges around the nail, the result is really pretty. The durability for me varies on the nails, on some nails it has lasted up to 3 weeks while on others only 3 days. Hence the rating. I have soft/brittle nails that easily break and it's hard to get some length. So impressed by these layers! 🤩 I love having pretty nails and have explored many different methods for it, gel nails, press-on nails, gluetabs, nail polish stickers, etc., but none of them have worked particularly well or have damaged my natural nails too much 😕 Mine have always been very soft and easy to break. But wow, what a result you get from these!! They really look natural and many at my job thought they were my nails 🤭💕 In the pictures, you can see that they lose their shine after a week, but you can always top it off with a little top coat, so that solves it ✨ The light pink color has also yellowed a bit, I think it might be due to my skincare, sunscreen, or some acid probably!
