Lovely scented leave-in conditioner ✨
I received products from the Nõberu of Sweden 9 Wonders series to test from Lyko. 🤎 I have dry, naturally curly and coarse, colored hair. I have tried sulfate-free products before, but they often leave my hair feeling or looking dirty. However, I went in with an open mind to test these Nõberu of Sweden 9 Wonders products, and I tested them all at once. ✨ Check out the 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Shampoo 250ml and 9 Wonders Anti-frizz Conditioner 250ml to see what I thought of the series' shampoo and conditioner. 🔍 I dried my hair in a towel for a while after washing, and then sprayed the 9 Wonders All-in-one No 109 Orange Cedar 200ml evenly onto damp hair. This leave-in conditioner is sufficient on its own for styling hair and heat protection, and it helped detangle my hair well - it was easy to brush through even when wet (my hair is not in the best condition 🙈). Like many other so-called heavier hair sprays, this spray is strong and not very fine. Moisturizing and wonderfully scented conditioner 😍
I received products from the N beru of Sweden 9 Wonders series to test from Lyko. 🤎 I have dry, naturally curly and coarse, colored hair. I have tried sulfate-free products before, but they often leave my hair feeling or looking dirty. However, I went in with an open mind to test these N beru of Sweden 9 Wonders products and tested them all at once. ✨ I usually use a hair mask before conditioner, but this time I skipped it. The conditioner left my hair wonderfully soft and easy to manage. The conditioner also smelled lovely like shampoo, but I didn't notice a strong scent in my hair right after washing. Minus for the cap not working :( Luckily, the product can be used by taking the cap completely off. Lovely scented moisturizing shampoo 🧡
I received products from Nõberu of Sweden's 9 Wonders series to test from Lyko. 🤎 I have dry, naturally curly and coarse, colored hair. However, I went in with an open mind to test these Nõberu of Sweden's 9 Wonders products and tested them all at once. ✨ I always wash my hair twice with shampoo, so I did the same with this one. Right from the first use, I noticed the product's heavenly scent! These are not scent-free, and if dark-toned scents are not your thing, this shampoo might not be for you. However, I absolutely love this scent. 😍 The shampoo left my hair feeling clean, but not sticky dry, as many cleansing shampoos often do to me. Blurring and covering, but not dry skin friendly
I received this LUMENE Blur Even Cover foundation for testing from Lyko and chose the shade 1.75 ✨ I am 37 years old, so my skin is already aging, and I especially have sometimes even atopic dry skin in winter. I generally prefer light and moisturizing foundations. Skincare is the most important step in makeup, so I moisturized my skin before the test and let the skincare absorb properly. 💧 I like to apply foundation with a makeup sponge. However, for the test, I first applied the cream with a brush, and my intention was to even it out with the sponge afterwards, but after application, I found that the foundation didn't need it. At first, I was afraid that the shade I chose was too light, but the foundation oxidized a bit on my face, and in the end, it felt maybe even a tad too dark. With concealer and in summer, the updated shade will definitely work for me. I didn't use concealer or other base products now, so I can see how the foundation looks and behaves on its own. Normally, I powder my skin after creamy products, but this one feels dry enough and also durable enough that I don't feel the need for powder. I do have a dry skin type, and unfortunately, the foundation clung a bit to dry patches (I don't know if I captured that in the pictures). ☹️ Additionally, the foundation initially sat "on top" of the skin, but after a while, it actually looks really beautiful! The foundation, as the name suggests, blurs the skin and nicely evens out, for example, the redness of a pimple on the forehead. I forgot to put another pimple patch on my chin, but that was also tested - the foundation adhered well to it. 😄 The skin feels like it has makeup on, but not in any heavy way. Somehow, the foundation manages to be very skin-like despite its coverage, so it doesn't look heavy or cakey in my opinion. 👍🏼 This foundation will definitely be my go-to product for summer parties where I want more coverage and long-lasting wear. 🌞 We with dry skin just need to do good skincare underneath, and it certainly won't hurt to throw a hydrating makeup setting spray in the bag. 😉 #lykoinflutester #lumene

Luxurious Face Cream ✨

Very moisturizing for very dry skin
VICHY Minéral 89 Daily Booster is a product I’m already familiar with, but I haven’t used it in a while - partly due to the price. 🫣 The product promises effective hydration, which my skin really needs, so let’s see if it lives up to its promise 🔎 The serum comes in a luxurious glass bottle, Vichy’s typical design 🩵 I didn’t notice any scent in the product, which is a positive thing for me - although a scent might add to the feeling of luxury 🌟 The instructions say this should be the first step after cleansing, but I always use toner first, and I did so this time as well. The serum has a quite thick consistency, and it took a while to work it into the skin 💧 I think this Minéral 89 Daily Booster is a nice serum, but I have very dry skin, and I don’t think it’s worth the price in terms of moisturizing properties. If your skin isn’t that dry or tends towards oily, I believe this is a very good product for you. Good and affordable cleanser ⭐️
CeraVe Hydrating cleanser is a product I’m already familiar with, but it’s been a while since I last used it. The product promises to be a moisturizing cleanser, which is good since I have very dry skin, and especially now in the cold, cleansing products need to be moisturizing as well 💧 I didn’t have any makeup on today, so I just washed my face with this. On makeup days, I would use this as a second-step cleanser, which it is excellent for, for example, alongside a balm-like cleanser 🤝🏼 I didn’t notice any scent in the product, which I think is a plus. The product feels like washing with a light cream 😍 After washing, my skin still felt dry, as it always does. I followed my normal skincare routine after washing, and my skin didn’t require extra moisture after this cleansing. I received the Olaplex shampoo and conditioner (No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo 250 ml & No.5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner 250 ml) from Lyko for testing. Olaplex is a brand I’m familiar with: in the salon, when bleaching hair, Olaplex products have been used, and I also had No.3 Hair Perfector at home. 💇🏼♀️ However, I hadn’t tested these products yet (I must admit it was because of the price tag 💸), so it was nice to get to try them together. I have naturally curly, coarse, and dry hair, so repairing and/or moisturizing products are my “holy grail.” 🌟 The appearance of the products is brand-typical, meaning very minimalistic. I don’t need much from product packaging (the content is more important), but of course, in this price range, a little something extra in the packaging wouldn’t hurt. ✨ The products have the typical Olaplex scent, which I think lingers in the hair even after washing. I like the scent, but for those sensitive to fragrances, the product may not be the best option. 💭 Read my experiences with the No.4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo 250 ml in the reviews! Normally, after shampooing, I use a hair mask before conditioner (as I said, my hair really needs care and moisture 😅💧), but due to the product testing, I skipped it this time. However, it didn’t matter – the conditioner was really rich and made my hair wonderfully smooth and easy to manage already in the shower! 😍🫧 I used the conditioner as I usually do, meaning when I can, I towel-dry at least the ends before the conditioner, and then I scrunch the product into the ends, after which I let it sit for at least a couple of minutes. 🤝🏼 I, of course, used the products together, and at home, I still have the No.6 Bond Smoother that I bought myself, which I applied to damp hair and then dried with a hairdryer. My hair was really soft and easy to manage, and I couldn’t help but touch it 😅😍 Normally, I either straighten or curl my hair, but it’s been a couple of days since washing, and I still haven’t styled my hair in any way after drying - and yet it’s still smooth! 😱 Even humid weather hasn’t caused the usual frizz. Lovely scent – I wish it were perfect on my skin
I received the product for testing from Lyko. 🖤 I have tried this scent before in stores, as it is a cult-favorite perfume. 💎 However, on my own skin, the scent hasn't worked, so I haven't purchased it for my collection. Now that I have the Libre perfume to test, I wanted to see how the scent behaves on my skin throughout the day. 💭 The scent opens with lavender and, in my opinion, some kind of floral scent, and rosy/floral scents generally don't work on my skin – just like this one doesn't. 😭 The scent settles quickly, at which point jasmine can be detected. 🌸 At this stage, I still don't like the scent on my skin, but I later noticed that I was sniffing my wrists, as musk and vanilla stood out clearly. 😍🤍 So the scent lasts a long time (note: tested as EdP, not EdT), which of course gives it extra points. And of course, the refillable packaging is also a plus! There is nothing wrong with the scent itself – it smells exactly as described, and I think the longevity is good. 🤝🏼 Unfortunately, I don't like the scent on my own skin at first, even though the base notes are enchanting. I have still noticed that I want to test the scent over and over again, and I may have gotten a bit used to it. The scent is a nice addition to my very vanilla-heavy fragrances. 🤎 As with all perfumes, I recommend going to a store to test the scent on your own skin, as everyone's skin is unique and scents behave differently on us.
