    I think we’ll like each other! 🙈

    I bought the base out of pure curiosity because I saw comparisons to The Ordinary’s conditioner, which supposedly helps keep curled lashes. I don’t have the one from The Ordinary, so I won’t compare, but one thing I can tell you about the one from essence is that it can easily replace mascara! It has a slightly black color, so if you’re looking for something completely transparent, unfortunately this isn’t the product. The color is subtle but definitely visible. Also, it’s a waterproof product, so keep in mind that you can’t just wash it off with anything. For me, it was easiest to remove with waterproof micellar water, and that’s exactly how I’ll be removing it. And the effect? It held my lash curl very nicely all day! 🥹✨ You do need to spend a little time applying the product carefully because it can slightly clump lashes together. However, that’s not a big problem for me because with a bit of patience you can nicely separate them. And honestly? The effect is worth that moment of effort. 🙈 The lashes are curled, lightly defined, and the curl really lasts a long time.
