I have as #lykoinflutester had the chance to try these eye patches from #verso, here is my honest review. I am 43 years old and have noticed that the skin under my eyes has become significantly drier and more sensitive lately, so it was perfect that I received these to test. I needed a real moisture bomb and have now used these regularly 1-2 times a week for about a month. The result: The effect is great! I feel that the skin under my eyes is significantly more hydrated and calmer now than before I started. Those little fine dryness lines feel "filled in" and smoother, and the entire eye area looks more awake. You can tell that the ingredients (like Centella and algae) are working to strengthen and soothe the skin, rather than just cooling it for the moment. Usage (and the best tips!): There is an incredible amount of serum in the jar! This is of course good for moisture, but it makes the patches very heavy and slippery. If you are not careful, they slide down your cheeks immediately. My tip is to lie down for the first few minutes until the serum has sunk in a bit, then they stay in place. 🧊 An extra hack: Store the jar in the fridge! Then they become wonderfully cooling and even more de-puffing. A real lifesaver for tired and puffy eyes in the morning. Value: Don't be scared off by the price tag. Since the jar contains a full 30 pairs, the price per mask is actually lower than if you buy single packs from many cheaper budget brands. It’s an investment that lasts a long time! Luxury for Special Occasions
contains preservatives, so it is quite sensitive. I am a big fan of sheet masks and always have a bunch in the fridge. Most often, I use one when I come home after working a few night shifts and want to freshen up a bit. This was tested after I had worked three nights in a row, slept a few hours during the day, and was going out to party. So it’s the three night shifts in a row in January that make me look like a wreck, and it’s a perfect opportunity for a little hard testing? The first impression is that the mask is sturdy and not so flimsy. It is generously soaked with serum and is two-part, which I think makes masks sit better on my face. However, I wish it was a little "higher" on the forehead, because as you can see in the video, I have a couple of centimeters left there that are not covered by the mask. I also can’t pull it up higher because then it would end up in my eyes. Otherwise, the fit is good, and I don’t feel like it slides away on my face. I experience no irritation during use, and I feel that my skin feels more hydrated (and longer than when I only use my regular skincare). I have as #lykoinflutester tested these eye patches from #verso I prefer eye patches in gel form, so I was absolutely happy when I opened the packaging. They sat well under the eyes without sliding, and I had no sensations from them, either during or after use. I especially think about how retinol can cause reactions. However, I think there was far too little serum in the packaging, and it didn't take long before what was on had been absorbed by the skin. On most patches I've tested before, you have to rub or dab in the serum that remains when you take them off. 110kr for a pair of eye patches also feels a bit too pricey, even though Verso is a good skincare brand. There are cheaper variants in a jar of 30 pairs that I think are both better and cheaper. I, who have tested for 37 years and have dry skin, which needs a little extra love especially during the colder months. I also have psoriasis (though not on my face) and allergies to some preservatives, so I am quite sensitive. I work nights and have small children, so I always suffer a bit from sleep deprivation. I am "naturally" a bit dark under the eyes, and that combination makes me always feel like I look a bit tired. That’s why I always have a jar of eye patches (and a bunch of sheet masks) in the fridge! These have thus had to work hard during the testing period, and I have used them as a little uplifting pick-me-up several times a week. The amount of serum is very generous, which is lovely, but it makes it a bit difficult to take the patches out of the jar and they tend to slide down a bit on the face. However, that might also be because I have a hard time just sitting still and masking 😅 The effect on me is more hydrated and a little less puffy skin under the eyes. However, there is no longer-lasting effect, but more of a quick fix when I am a bit extra tired and dull. I, who have tested, am 37 years old and have dry skin that needs a little extra love, especially during the colder months. To really give these eye patches a challenge, I used them after sleeping 5 hours after a night shift, before I was going out to dinner with colleagues. I can honestly say that I expected more from such an expensive product, especially since it comes from Verso, which usually delivers results. It promises, among other things, a visibly tightening effect and youthful radiance, and I don't know if I see any greater difference in that. However, I do think that the skin under my eyes feels more hydrated and somewhat plumper for at least a few hours. I especially like the fit of these, which are perfect for the shape of my eyes, and they stay well in place even when I am hanging laundry while wearing them 😂 I would have liked if the product was available in a larger package, like a classic jar with 15-30 pairs in it (like Verso's other eye patches) to be able to use them regularly and see if it would provide greater and more long-term results. This especially considering that both retinoids and peptides take time to show effect. However, the packaging with only one pair makes it easier to take them out compared to trying to fish patches out of a jar without getting several at once. ✨ First impression Clean and nice jar, the patches are really soaked with product - I love!! 😍 However, they were a bit slippery to handle and I didn't like the fit. But I actually tend to cut the tip off even on others I've tried, so it wasn't a big deal for me. 🏵️ My thoughts, preferences, and experiences I've been using eye cream since I was 18 because I easily feel dark under my eyes, especially when my sleep isn't on point! I sometimes use eye masks and really appreciate them ✨ I like the cooling feeling and that there's a lot of product! I think they brighten up and give a nice and lovely result! What I don't like is that they slipped (which might not be so strange since they were soaked in product) and the fit didn't feel super great either. I have combination skin but can sometimes get dry patches on my face. My skin sometimes feels dehydrated and tight despite an oily T-zone. I don't have any direct wrinkles or fine lines around my eyes. Just a "frown line" between my brows. I don't have super dark circles under my eyes, but they are there. Sometimes puffy. ✨ Packaging: I love the jar, and the design is sleek and pretty. It comes with a small spatula that helps to separate the eye masks from each other. It also helps to smooth the mask under the eyes, but I don't use it for that. Easiest with clean fingers. The jar contains a lot of serum, which I like. ✨ The product and results: Wonderful eye masks! These were very easy to evaluate since there are several pieces of eye masks. I love using them before makeup to hydrate the eye area so the makeup sits well around the eyes. But they are also fantastic in the evening after a shower. I find that my skin has become more hydrated and reduced puffiness and dark circles. I love that they don't slide around, big plus! But after using these patches, the eye area felt very rehydrated, plumped, and even tightened. The skin tone under the eyes also feels more even. I really like these eye patches! ✨ The price: High price for a single use for someone like me with a limited budget. It becomes quite a significant cost if you want to use them 2-3 times a week. Therefore, I look a little grumpy, because I get a bit stiff from having a mask on me, but only at first. 😅 My skin really felt plumped and hydrated from this mask. New year new hair? 🤔😋
New Year's Eve was extremely calm for me and my "concussion during recovery", but I stayed awake until 00 anyway 🥳 I'm considering starting the year with a haircut after finding Brad Mondo's tutorial on the "Sabrina Carpenter cut" which looks to be quite manageable! It involves a bit more "layering" and texturizing, so I'll see if I'm feeling bangs or not. I like that my hair is thick, but sometimes it feels a bit unnecessarily heavy, like a big mass just... so it could be fun to try. Not such a big difference
✨ First impression Stable packaging and very user-friendly! Thick, which made them easy to apply. Didn't slide around either, but stayed where you placed them, which was nice 👌🏼 🍁 About me and my preferences I have a dry skin type that is somewhat sensitive, especially under the eyes. I use eye cream morning and night but don't treat myself to eye patches very often, maybe that will change! ☺️ 🏵️ My thoughts and experiences It's hard to get a proper impression after just one use. In terms of results, I felt like I mostly looked a bit more awake, as if it had brightened a bit under my eyes, but actually not a particularly big difference? Very nice face mask
I tested this mask from the brand Verso that Lyko has influtestered. The outside is classic Verso design and I think it’s super pretty and sleek. The mask is two-part (love it!🥰) and generously with serum on the mask. The mask is relatively thick and in some kind of silicone or similar. It feels like this is not a 30:- mask, to say the least... As the video shows, I had it on for 30 minutes and I really thought it was nice! It feels like my skin soaked up what it was supposed to, and my skin looked brighter with a nice glow afterwards! I got to test these eyepatches that Lyko influtester, thanks to both Verso and Lyko for that 🤗 I have passed 40 and so has my skin. (most of the time it feels like my skin has passed 40 more than I have 😋). The properties of these eyepatches are described so nicely in the product description, so I won’t repeat everything again, but the name itself (retinoate) tells me that this is not something to expect as a ”quick-fix” but is meant to be used regularly. Since I’ve only gotten one pair, I can unfortunately only review based on one use. That said, I think the product is nice! The packaging is pretty (I like Verso’s aesthetic!) and the inner pouch for the pair of patches is tightly sealed, and no product has leaked into the outer packaging. The patches themselves are thicker than those Verso has in their jars and feel more like X-lash in thickness. Silly maybe, but I like it 😍 I also like their design, that they don’t have that ”tip” that always ends up wrong on me. I had mine on for just over 20 minutes. When I took them off, I felt a bit warm on the skin on my cheekbones, so it felt like something had worked on my skin. Do I see any difference before and after? No, I wouldn’t say so (judge for yourself in the video 🙂). Not more than the slightly temporary smoothness the skin gets from being covered with silicone and product for 20 minutes normally. For 110:- I had hoped I would at least look a bit more plump right away or that it would give the immediate tightening effect that is promised, but I can’t really see that either. Love the gel mask
I have as #lykoinflutester tested this sheet mask from #verso It is a thick and lovely mask divided into two parts, something I think more companies should follow since the fit becomes much better. There is a lot of serum in the packaging, so it is more than enough for both décolleté and hands as well. On the face, the mask feels pleasant and it is easy to massage in the serum when it is time to take it off. I have sensitive winter skin that tends to flare up, and this mask definitely helped to calm my skin. I definitely feel that I am both hydrated and plumped, so the mask gets full points! A little (literally) new mission!
Today I received my new Lyko influtester package, and this time there wasn't much to test, vilymmäßigt. Or there were three different products, as usual, but two of them are in a one-pack, so I can't test them directly for four weeks 😋 The brand Verso is known as a trustworthy and good brand in my world, and even though the items can't be tested daily, I will of course take on the task with engagement and interest as usual! It's a box with 30 pairs (60 pcs) of Energizing eye patches, a single pack/a pair of Retinoate eye patches, and a Hydro soothing mask. It's a bit of a shame that it wasn't the other way around in the variety with the patch counts since retinol products are not expected to make a difference with one use… it would have been better to be able to test more frequently. Swedish Verso continues to impress! Wonderful, nourishing night mask 🌛 or however you choose to use it. I mostly use it as a cream last over my routine and improve whenever I need that little extra! Just as promised, it really provides nourishment for dry skin and is perfect now during the cold winter. Great for sensitive skin! Soft and mild scent of the ingredients just the way I like it (no added perfumes). Even though several products in the line contain a bit of perfume to not smell bad, I don’t find them perfumed at all. I have a greasy T-zone and dry, sensitive cheeks, and this is perfect to apply as soon as I feel dryness. There aren’t many products that really work when the cheeks hurt from dryness. If you take the right amount, it absorbs nicely, and if you take more, it lays down like a protective layer. I actually have it next to me on the couch! The ceramide complex provides a naturally protective effect, and Saccharide Isomerate, which hydrates the skin 💦, gives an immediate but also long-lasting result for fresh, balanced skin, which I really feel when I use it, especially more regularly. Extra info! Also an invaluable product when introducing their Retinol 8 products (just start with one!) which for me always causes dryness but are super effective and good! Right now I’m trying Super Elixir, which is like an oil serum with A-vitamin and niacinamide 👌🏻 that hasn’t caused the same type of dryness as previous retinol products in the line that I’ve tried.
