I have as #lykoinflutester received some products from #versoskincare to test, and next up to be reviewed are their Energizing eye patches. The product is said to be intensely moisturizing and strengthening and should refresh tired skin. Sounds perfect for a pair of 45-year-old eyes ✨ I don't have any real concerns about my eyes, I have of course gotten a few fine lines and tend to get a bit puffy around the eyes. They come in a jar that holds 30 pairs of eyepatches, it also comes with a small spatula for easier pickup. There is a lot of serum in the jar so all the patches are well soaked. I always store such products in the fridge because I want that cooling effect. They are easy to apply and stay in place without sliding around. I have them on for about 20 minutes and then massage in the excess. The result is very moisturizing, I also feel that they reduce puffiness at least temporarily. Nice but it’s not enough
I am 44 years old and have fine lines and "crow's feet", get a little dark under the eyes and a bit glowy/puffy when I’m tired. I have been tasked (Lyko Influtester) to test these eye patches from Verso skincare (Thank you Lyko and Verso! 🫶🏼). The jar is plastic and typical "Verso-style", which I think is super stylish! Very sleek and professional looking. In the jar, there is a lid over the patches and a small spatula to pick them up with so you don’t have to stick your fingers in the jar. There is plenty of serum in the jar, and the first patches are so slippery that they drip and slide down my cheek all the time, but I’d rather that than the contents being dry! The patches are quite thin and sometimes hard to get one at a time (they tend to stick together), but practice makes perfect ✨. I’m not so fond of the "tip" that many have on eye patches as it wants to poke me in the eye if I place the rest how I want it, but you can cut it off if you want. The effect then. Yes... I have tested these several times a week for four weeks, and I don’t notice any direct difference, either in the short or long term. I store them in the fridge, and the feeling is lovely on the skin, but more than that and a little hydration unfortunately doesn’t occur for me. I can add that I don’t notice any direct difference with X-lash patches either (which most rank as some of the best), so eye patches may not be for me... or I’m just very honest and without placebo expectations 😬. I don’t doubt that there are good things in this serum; I have great confidence in Verso skincare as a serious and forward-thinking company. But this product is not for me. There are significantly cheaper products I’ve tested that provide a similar feeling and results. I have as #lykoinflutester tested some products from #versoskincare and first up in the test is their hydro soothing mask. The mask is supposed to be very moisturizing and soothing and provide increased elasticity and glow. I stored my mask in the fridge before application to get a cooling effect. The mask itself comes in two parts, one for the upper part of the face and one for the lower part. It is a bit "slippery" and it was a bit tricky to remove the protective film. But once in place on the face, the mask stayed put, it didn't slide around. I left it on for 20 minutes and then massaged the excess product into my face and then my usual skincare. It is very moisturizing and pleasant, the skin became plump and a bit glowy afterwards. It worked well with my other products without starting to roll off. Overall a lovely mask, no wow experience but nice. Expensive but good
My last assignment as a Lyko influencer in 2025 consisted of three products from Verso. I have previously had great trust in Verso, mainly because it is a Swedish company, and what I have used from the brand before has never disappointed me. Here are my thoughts on these eye patches, but first a little about my skin around the eyes: 🫣 A whole lot of crow's feet. 😒 Rarely dark circles, but often I get bags under my eyes. (Constantly looking for a "quick fix" to achieve a fresher look in the morning) 🙂 Not particularly sensitive around the eyes. 🥴 Somewhat dry. Thoughts on the product: ✨ Regular jar with a screw lid and spatula included. ✨ Plenty of serum. ✨ Quite thick patches, initially hard to determine if you have taken double patches. ✨ A bit tricky to pry up. Usage: 💥 I store these in the fridge for a little extra oomph. 💥 Personally, I prefer to have the "thick" side facing the nose. 💥 I apply these on completely dry skin, so no skincare beforehand. (I don't want them to lose grip due to underlying skincare) 💥 Stays put like a charm, doesn't slide around at all. 💥 No tingling, itching, or other discomfort. The result: 👍 I think they give me a fresher look. 🤏 I can't completely magic away the bags, but we make good progress. 🙏 Summary: Incredibly luxurious patches that I wish I could use every morning for the rest of my life, but that's where my wallet says stop. But having really good patches at home, I think everyone should have to pamper their skin a few times a week. There is actually a difference between cheap and expensive patches, I must say, and I would recommend these any day of the week, especially to you with mature and/or sensitive skin. New year new hair? 🤔😋
New Year's Eve was extremely calm for me and my "concussion during recovery", but I stayed awake until 00 anyway 🥳 I'm considering starting the year with a haircut after finding Brad Mondo's tutorial on the "Sabrina Carpenter cut" which looks to be quite manageable! It involves a bit more "layering" and texturizing, so I'll see if I'm feeling bangs or not. I like that my hair is thick, but sometimes it feels a bit unnecessarily heavy, like a big mass just... so it could be fun to try. Hard to Evaluate
This is a bit trickier task as a Lyko influencer with these eye patches since it’s a one-time test, so I can’t unfortunately say whether these work long-term. This test fits perfectly here on New Year's Eve 🙏 A bit about my skin around the eyes: - Puffy bags but not directly dark circles under the eyes. - Somewhat sensitive skin, but not right under the eyes. - A few small wrinkles, but these don’t bother me that much yet. About the product: - The packaging is totally okay, but I would have preferred if these came in a multi-pack in a jar. - Love the shape! No need to think about whether the "tail" should be inward or outward. - Plenty of serum. - Sturdy and stays well in place. The result then? The feeling afterwards is lovely, moisturizing, but to be really honest, I don’t see any major difference. Maybe a bit less puffy. Probably you could see a nice result if you use these about 3 times a week, for 3-4 months, but then there are better and more affordable products. However, the luxurious feeling gives an inner well-being and it always feels wonderful to pamper yourself a little. I could easily buy these to give as a gift, maybe in a basket together with other products in the "treat-yourself" spirit. I love using sheet masks, and this was probably one of the best I've tested so far, at least in terms of fit. It fits like a dream, and you aren't restricted during use, like not being able to drink or eat, which I really appreciate, as I like to have a mask on for a little longer. My skin isn't sensitive but is often drier this time of year, and this made my skin feel hydrated and well. I can imagine it being really nice to use during times when the skin can be stressed or in need of hydration. It's just the right amount of wet and leaves no sticky feeling after removal. The price may be high, and it's significantly more expensive than the masks I usually use, but I think it breathes quality. I got to test these eyepatches that Lyko influtester, thanks to both Verso and Lyko for that 🤗 I have passed 40 and so has my skin. (most of the time it feels like my skin has passed 40 more than I have 😋). The properties of these eyepatches are described so nicely in the product description, so I won’t repeat everything again, but the name itself (retinoate) tells me that this is not something to expect as a ”quick-fix” but is meant to be used regularly. Since I’ve only gotten one pair, I can unfortunately only review based on one use. That said, I think the product is nice! The packaging is pretty (I like Verso’s aesthetic!) and the inner pouch for the pair of patches is tightly sealed, and no product has leaked into the outer packaging. The patches themselves are thicker than those Verso has in their jars and feel more like X-lash in thickness. Silly maybe, but I like it 😍 I also like their design, that they don’t have that ”tip” that always ends up wrong on me. I had mine on for just over 20 minutes. When I took them off, I felt a bit warm on the skin on my cheekbones, so it felt like something had worked on my skin. Do I see any difference before and after? No, I wouldn’t say so (judge for yourself in the video 🙂). Not more than the slightly temporary smoothness the skin gets from being covered with silicone and product for 20 minutes normally. For 110:- I had hoped I would at least look a bit more plump right away or that it would give the immediate tightening effect that is promised, but I can’t really see that either. But again, considering the ingredient list, these should be used regularly, so I feel that if you want to give them a fair chance, I can’t say 👍🏼 or 👎🏼 after one use, so I give it a neutral three #lykoinflutester #verso #versoskincare1 product in post Cozy treasures551 views
