The Only One
The Only One Eau de Parfum Intense is a warm and sensual fragrance with deep character. It has sweet, creamy, and floral notes with a rich and slightly seductive feel, making it especially suitable for evenings and colder seasons. I find it feels feminine yet bold. Vanilla, cedar, and coconut give it a warm and sensual feeling while the floral notes soften it. I have also tried the original version of The Only One, and in my opinion, the scents differ quite a bit. I experience the original as more caramel-like sweet. I also find that the Intense version lasts a bit longer on the skin without becoming overwhelming. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the #ACO Purifying series. Day Cream, Booster Serum (BHA), and Night Balm. I have combination skin and use skincare daily. The packaging is nice, and I like the small pump bottle. It feels both cute and easy to use. The serum has a very light and thin, liquid consistency that absorbs quickly into the skin. The serum is supposed to help reduce the visibility of pores and dark pigmentation. Honestly, I haven't noticed any major difference so far. As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the #ACO Purifying series. Day Cream, Booster Serum (BHA), and Night Balm. I have combination skin and use skincare daily. My first impressions of the Purifying series are positive. The packaging feels nice and is easy to use. The day and night creams have the same type of packaging, but the large and clear text makes it easy to see which is which. All products are fragrance-free, which I think is a plus. The night balm has a thicker consistency than the day cream but doesn’t feel too greasy, which I like. The skin felt very comfortable after application, and the balm gave a moisturized feeling without becoming overly sticky or oily. I also felt that the skin felt calm and comfortable after use. I still got some pimples while using the series, so unfortunately, I didn’t experience any clear “purifying” effect. The day cream has a light texture that quickly absorbs into the skin. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how well moisturized my skin felt afterward. It’s not the most moisturizing day cream I’ve tried, but considering the price, I still think it performs well. However, I don’t think it lived up to all its claims. It’s supposed to reduce the visibility of pores, but I didn’t notice much difference in my pores. I’m also a bit skeptical about the “purifying” part, as I got a few pimples while testing the series. Le Beau Narcisse EdP is an exciting interpretation of the classic Jean Paul Gaultier signature with a twist that makes it unique. Top notes: bergamot and coconut. Heart notes: musk and orange blossom. Base notes are vanilla, tonka bean, and vetiver. Coconut, vanilla, and the soft, powdery musk note make me think it could easily be worn as a unisex fragrance. As a test pilot for @smartson, I got to try Lancôme Absolue Longevity MD Intercept The Cream. I was really impressed by the feel on the skin. The cream has a luxurious and rich texture, yet feels light and pleasant when applied. It melts quickly into the skin and leaves it soft, hydrated without feeling sticky or heavy. The first thing I noticed was the lovely floral scent, which I personally really like. It’s quite noticeable upon application, but the scent fades after a while. I also like that the product encourages massaging the cream into the face and décolleté. It’s a small detail, but if you make it a habit, it becomes a very relaxing moment and a nice part of your self-care routine. After application, the skin feels hydrated and smooth with a nice glow. A truly luxurious everyday ritual! To be able to assess the long-term results, I obviously need to use it over a longer period, but the immediate results are already very good! The packaging and the whole feel around the product feel exclusive, just as you would expect from Lancôme’s Absolue series. The price is relatively high, but the luxurious feel, the beautiful packaging, and the fact that it’s refillable make me feel it’s worth the price. It moisturizes and nourishes without making the hair greasy or heavy. ✨ Key ingredients: sea buckthorn, hyaluronic acid, and plant-based proteins – ingredients that help to hydrate, strengthen, and care for damaged and dry hair. I use about 2 pumps on the lengths and ends.
