Very easy to apply and the formula glides on the skin like butter. It’s easy to blend, melts nicely into the skin, and gives an even result without patchiness. The only thing that lowers the rating for me is that the shade is a bit too orange for my taste. I would have preferred a more neutral or slightly cooler brown tone for a more natural result. Pros: Easy to apply, creamy formula, and easy to blend. Cons: Leans a bit too much towards orange. I think this brown mascara gave a very nice and natural result. Even though I have dark features, the brown shade worked surprisingly well and gave a softer look than a classic black mascara. The lashes looked defined and full without the makeup feeling too harsh or dramatic, making it perfect for everyday use. The mascara was easy to apply and built both length and volume in a nice way. The color “Brown Leather” is nice, but I personally wished it was a bit darker to give a little more intensity and highlight the eyes even better. For me, it landed right on the border between natural and a bit too light. The durability is generally good, but after a few hours of use, I noticed it crumbled a bit under the eyes. It wasn’t extreme, but enough for me to notice it. Pros: ✔ Gives a soft and natural look ✔ Nice brown shade suitable for everyday makeup ✔ Builds length and volume without clumping ✔ Easy to apply Cons: ✘ Crumbles somewhat during the day ✘ Would have liked it to be a bit darker in color Summary: A really good mascara for those who want a more natural alternative to black mascara. It gives beautiful, full lashes and a softer framing of the eyes. If the color had been a bit darker and the formula a bit more crumble-free, it would have gotten full marks from me. Not for me
I had high expectations for this CC cream because it’s supposed to neutralize redness and give a more even skin tone. Unfortunately, it didn’t work very well for me. The texture felt quite dry on the skin and was difficult to blend, especially on drier areas of the face. The color also didn’t adapt as naturally as I had hoped. After application, I felt that my skin had a distinctly orange tone, which looked unnatural against my own skin color. The redness was somewhat covered, but the result wasn’t nice enough to make up for the orange color and the dry feeling. The product might possibly suit people with a different skin tone or oilier skin type, but for me, the result was unfortunately not good. Pros: ✔ Reduces redness somewhat ✔ Easy to apply Cons: ✘ Gave an orange tone to the skin ✘ Felt dry and emphasized dry patches ✘ Didn’t adapt naturally to my skin tone Summary: A disappointment for my skin type. I have tried Maybelline Lash Sensational Body Waterproof Mascara and I really love the result. It gives both nice volume and length while separating the lashes nicely without clumping. The formula is light and buildable, which means you can apply several layers without it feeling heavy. I really appreciate how natural yet defined the result looks. The lashes appear fuller but still soft and defined. It also holds up well throughout the day. This is definitely a mascara I will continue to use and recommend. I have tried the Maybelline Lifter Liner in the shade 05 On It and I really love the shade. It is a perfect nude color that goes with everything and gives a natural yet beautiful result. The pencil is creamy and easy to apply, making it simple to shape the lips without feeling dry. The color blends nicely and works both alone and together with lipstick or gloss. I tried Maybelline Serum Lipstick 002 Maybe It’s and I am pleasantly surprised. The lipstick is very creamy and glides easily on the lips without feeling heavy. It gives a nice, even color right away and feels moisturizing all day, which I really appreciate. The formula also contains nourishing ingredients that help keep the lips soft. I like that it feels so light that you almost forget you’re wearing it. The color is natural but still vibrant, perfect for both everyday and party.
