Okay cream, steep price
I received this mask (along with cleansing gel and eye cream) from #coolderma as a #lykoinflutester. This is a face mask that can either be washed off after 20 minutes or used overnight and then rinsed off in the morning. For me, this is a bit of a strange product. It reminds me of a light, somewhat liquid moisturizer with a somewhat indistinct scent. The cream absorbs into the skin and provides some moisture and glow. I don’t really see the point of washing it off again. To me, it feels more like a moisturizer than a mask. I also have to mention that the price is steep – almost 500 kr for a face mask is a lot, especially when you only get 75 ml in the tube. Light moisturizing eye cream
I received this eye cream (along with a cleansing gel and face mask) from #coolderma as a #lykoinflutester. This is the first time I've tried this brand. First off, I was surprised by how big the tube was, as it contains a full 30ml. Not common for eye creams. The cream is lightly moisturizing and works well for daytime since it absorbs quickly. For me, I need something thicker with more moisture for the evening. It is fragranced, with a light fresh scent. A bit indefinable, but pleasant. Decent cleanser
This is a new brand to me; I hadn’t heard of Cool Derma before I received the cleanser, eye cream, and face mask for testing. I’ve been using this cleanser recently in the evenings. It creates a nice foam, feels good on the skin, and does what it’s supposed to. It has a pleasant green tea scent, somewhat refreshing. For me, perfume isn’t an issue, but it’s a bit odd that they chose to perfume the skincare. For my slightly drier skin, it has worked similarly to most gel cleansers I’ve tried, meaning it dries the skin out a bit. And that’s a bit of a downside, of course. Nice spray
I have tried this all-in-one spray (along with shampoo and conditioner) in the anti-frizz series from #noberu for the last one and a half weeks as a #lykoinflutester. My hair is somewhat thick, colored, and goes halfway down my back. First thing first, I love the design of the bottles from Noberu. Very minimalistic and stylish. I have mostly used the spray on towel-dried hair, but I have also sprayed a little extra on the ends after my hair has dried. Very impressed with the spray itself, it is just perfect: you get a mist that spreads nicely without having to spray a lot. The scent is orange cedar (orange and cedar), and it is very pleasant. As I said, I have used it together with conditioner and shampoo from the same series. I was a bit surprised to read that it is a brand focused on men, but that being said, the hair products are quite unisex. My hair is somewhat thick, colored, and goes halfway down my back. First off, I love the design. Very minimalistic and sleek, and the bottle looks very nice on the shower shelf. The conditioner is creamy and has a somewhat firm consistency, and has a mild scent of orange cedar (so orange and cedar). As mentioned, I have used the shampoo, conditioner, and spray from the same series. Pretty okay
I have as #lykoinflutester received #cosrx's Snail all in one cream to test it out. I actually bought this cream and the corresponding snail power essence a couple of years ago when they first became so popular, and I have used both a little on and off since then. The consistency is very unique, very sticky and gloopy. A little goes a long way, and it absorbs relatively quickly into the skin. I have used it together with the essence, and for my dry skin, they don't provide enough moisture, especially now in winter. So I have to top it off with another moisturizer. The essence and cream work a bit better in summer when I want something a little lighter. Totally fine
I have as #lykoinflutester received #cosrx their Snail mucin essence to test it out. I actually bought this essence and the corresponding Snail all-in-one cream a couple of years ago when they first became so popular, and I have used both a bit on and off since then. The consistency is a bit runny, and when you press your hands together, it looks a little "sticky". I use 2 pumps of the product, and that is enough for both the face and neck. It feels good on the skin and absorbs relatively quickly. That said, you shouldn't apply too much, as it takes ages to absorb. For me, it's not enough moisture for my dry skin, especially now in winter. It works better in summer when I want something lighter. I have tested this over the last couple of weeks, along with the detox shampoo from the same brand. My hair is colored, somewhat wavy, and a bit thick. And it didn't quite go well with this conditioner. For me, it doesn't feel like it did much; I could just as well have skipped the conditioner. It maybe added a hint of moisture and antifrizz, but not enough to make a significant difference. The conditioner comes in a handy tube, I’ll give it that. But it is somewhat thin in consistency, which means I probably use far more than necessary for my hair to feel adequately covered. And you wouldn't want that, especially at the somewhat steep price. One thing that stands out is the scent, a bit fresh minty-like, but when using a conditioner, you’d like it to do more than just smell good. Smells good
I received this detox shampoo (plus the matching conditioner) to try out. I have now used this shampoo every time I have washed my hair in the last couple of weeks. I must say that shampoo is a bit difficult for me to judge, as my standard is somewhat low. As long as my hair gets clean and stays clean for a few days, doesn't get stripped of moisture, and smells good after washing, I'm satisfied (also that the product doesn't cost an arm and a leg 😛). This shampoo meets those points; my hair feels clean, it smells fresh and clean of mint and herbs, and the moisture level stays the same, plus my hair doesn't feel heavy.
