A dream to have!
I have tested this product which is #lykoinflutester ✨ I must admit I have been using this for several years, when it was called something else than Lumi Glotion! I was actually skeptical to try this new one, since I was so fond of the old; was it a new formula, scent, area of use, color? No, same product - new packaging! My skin is normal, but a bit drier in the winter. Therefore, I use a good moisturizer before application. I use Lumi Glotion as both a primer and highlighter on top of my makeup, but mainly as a primer to give me extra glow. The formulation is like a cream and glides easily over a clean face. It sets quickly and leaves a nice glow, without glitter! And the no glitter part is important to me; I don’t want to look like a disco ball 😅 It leaves a veil of glow that looks very nice under makeup, it doesn’t interfere with the foundation that is applied over and shines subtly through both light and a bit more covering base. Gives lots of length 😍
I have tested this product as #lykoinflutester ✨ Full disclosure; I have used this mascara before as well, but this time I have exclusively used this one over a few weeks. When it comes to mascara, I only use "cheap" mascaras, and my favorites are from Essence, Loreal, and - not least - Maybelline! Maybelline is especially good at mascara, even though they have many products that are on my top list in other categories as well. Lash Sensational Sky High mascara has an interesting brush; it is very narrow, flexible, and a bit long, which allows for easy and precise application. The formula itself is a bit wet, which can transfer to the eyelid during application (at least when I do it). Fortunately, it is easy to remove as soon as it dries. The result is laaaange lashes with good separation! It is not very volumizing; I would say it gives medium volume. Therefore, I would say this is a very nice everyday mascara that provides definition and a lot of length 🩷 What takes away a star for me is the brush itself. Nice and moisturizing!
I've been using this primer on and off for a year now, and recently got the chance to use it over time as #lykoinflutester ✨ The bottle is pretty and eye-catching, made of solid plastic that protects the product in the makeup bag, and has, not least, a practical and easy-to-use pump! The primer itself is completely transparent and gel-like. I use it all over my face as a full-coverage base under foundation, and I find that it provides good moisture and some glow WITHOUT being sticky! I initially thought it would be sticky since it was launched around the same time as sticky primers were trending, but thankfully it is not 😅 My skin simply feels fresh! It sits very nicely under makeup, whether you go straight in with foundation or wait a few minutes to let it absorb properly. I've never experienced pilling of foundation with this underneath, but I recommend using a makeup sponge to be safe 🩷 I use 1.5-2 pumps per application and have a bottle that lasts for many months, so it lasts a long time too! Very disappointing…
I was able to use the product two times before it seemed like the whole formula clumped together and I couldn't squeeze anything out?! I used a thin needle to open it up, but that didn't help at all. Extremely disappointing as the few times I was able to test it seemed like an ok formula. Star product!
I have this in the color 'Line leader', which is a nice nude, a bit on the pink side that is super pretty for everyday use. The lip liner is creamy and easy to apply. It is pigmented and easy to blend. Easy to sharpen and lasts a long time on the lips! All in all, it is a really good product that is a great alternative to more expensive products! I would call it a dupe for Charlotte Tilbury's lip liners, which I also have in several colors. Disappointing
I am a Maybelline fan; love most of their products and use them daily. I especially think the lip products are really good (Lifter gloss and lipliner are especially good!) so when this came out, I obviously had to test it. Moisturizing lip balm with shine is practical and pretty! This was not it 😅 It is sticky and hard to apply, and you have to keep applying and gliding over your lips several times to kind of soften the balm. It doesn't give much moisture or shine either, so it was a disappointing use of money. Maybe it has to do with the color I chose (peach) or that there was something wrong with mine? A nice powder at a good price!
I rarely use powder actually, because I feel like my face gets stiff and that it can settle into fine lines if you overdo the powder use... But that was before I tried this! I only use a little on a fluffy brush in the t-zone and it lays very nicely over the rest of the makeup. I take away one star because it settles into lines under the eyes, but for the rest of the face - totally great! Very good lipliner!
This lipliner has it all: it's pigmented, easy to apply, creamy in texture, and good to hold because of its square shape. Pretty okay, but no wow effect
I received this product as #lykoinflutester and have been testing it now for 14 days. Products like this, light peeling products with acids, are something I think is really nice; they are effective, easy to use, and don't require much time or knowledge. This one is a kind of thick cream that you just apply to your face and let it work for a minute - simple and straightforward. I've used this 2-3 times a week for the past two weeks. I've used it after cleansing, but before serum and moisturizer. It's quite thick and a bit clay-like in consistency, so it's not that easy to spread and feels a bit sticky. I started with a thin layer since I didn't know how my skin would react. But if you apply a slightly thick layer, it works fine! You experience a light warming sensation and very slight tingling - but it wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Since it only needs to work for a minute, you hardly have time to experience any "discomfort" before rinsing it off. I use a damp warm cloth to remove products like this, and it comes off easily. But I don't think I see any noticeable change or wow effect from this. I got a bit red in the face after each use, but I don't think either the pores got smaller or the black dots I have disappeared. It's possible that it's not effective enough...? For me, this becomes a somewhat unnecessary part of my routine, but it can definitely be a good starter product for those who want to begin with chemical peeling and want a simple and uncomplicated entry into this type of products!
