A nice powder at a good price!
I rarely use powder actually, because I feel like my face gets stiff and that it can settle into fine lines... But that was before I tried this! I only use a little on a fluffy brush in the t-zone and it lays very nicely over the rest of the makeup. I take away one star because it settles into lines under the eyes, but for the rest of the face - absolutely great! Very good lipliner!
This lipliner has it all: it's pigmented, easy to apply, creamy in texture, and good to hold because of its square shape. Pretty okay, but no wow effect
I received this product as #lykoinflutester and have been testing it now for 14 days. Products like this, light peeling products with acids, are something I think is really nice; they are effective, easy to use, and don't require much time or knowledge. This one is a kind of thick cream that you just apply to your face and let it work for a minute - simple and straightforward. I've used this 2-3 times a week for the past two weeks. I've used it after cleansing, but before serum and moisturizer. It's quite thick and a bit clay-like in consistency, so it's not that easy to spread and feels a bit sticky. I started with a thin layer since I didn't know how my skin would react. But if you apply a slightly thick layer, it works fine! You experience a light warming sensation and very slight tingling - but it wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Since it only needs to work for a minute, you hardly have time to experience any "discomfort" before rinsing it off. I use a damp warm cloth to remove products like this, and it comes off easily. But I don't think I see any noticeable change or wow effect from this. I got a bit red in the face after each use, but I don't think either the pores got smaller or the black dots I have disappeared. It's possible that it's not effective enough...? For me, this becomes a somewhat unnecessary part of my routine, but it can definitely be a good starter product for those who want to begin with chemical peeling and want a simple and uncomplicated entry into this type of products! Totally okay, but better as hand cream...
I have tested this cream, along with other products from Emma S., like #lykoinflutester! Lovely packaging, I love everything that is pink - and the cream comes in a very practical tube with a good screw cap that stays closed. I have normal skin with some lines, but now in the fall and winter my skin quickly gets dry, and I rely on good products that provide a lot of moisture. I have primarily used this cream at night, as I find it quite thick and a bit greasy. The consistency of the cream is thick and nice, but still easy to apply, and it also absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a film. You don't need much either; a pea-sized amount of cream is enough for the face, but if you also like to apply it to your neck and chest (like me), you double the amount. The skin feels soft and well-hydrated after a few minutes. So to what makes me take off two stars; the scent is very intense... It smells strongly of detergent/fabric softener and the smell lingers in the nose for a while. It does fade after a while, but I usually stay away from strongly perfumed face creams. I actually don't have sensitive skin at all, but I experienced getting small bumps on my cheeks and down my neck when I used this (I have used it in the evening/sometimes during the day for 14 days). The bumps were not red, but they were noticeable. I can only assume that it comes from the perfume in the product, as I have not experienced this reaction from my regular skincare products (which I have used in addition). I really liked this!
I got to test this product along with two other products from Emma S. for a couple of weeks as #lykoinflutester <3 What I like about the packaging: - I have a weakness for pink... Everything pink goes straight home with me. So the bottle fits right into my aesthetic universe. - The screw cap is practical and easy to open, and it's easy to pour the product into my hand. - Plastic bottle that can withstand pressure and doesn't risk opening or breaking while traveling! Now to the product itself and its use. My skin is normal, but now in the fall I like a little extra moisture in my skincare routine, as the air gets cooler outside and drier and warmer inside. Since this is a moisturizing serum, it fits perfectly right now! Even though it says it's a facial water, this is a thin gel-like essence that is neither solid nor completely liquid, it reminds me a bit of a snail serum, if you're familiar with the consistency of that! It says you can use either your hands or a cotton pad to apply the product. I tried both; with cotton it just got messy and it was hard to distribute and rub it in properly. Use your hands, and - this is important: use a little! A couple of drops is enough for the whole face! It's super economical in use and feels fresh and moisturizing on the face. I also use it on my neck and down my chest for a little extra moisture and glow there too. I let it absorb for a couple of minutes before applying cream, and it doesn't pill up under the cream. I really liked this and will use it both morning and night throughout the fall and winter for a lovely moisture boost! The only thing that brings it down is the strong smell... It smells strongly of fabric softener (I think), so if I were to change anything, it would be that. And that's why I take away one star. But other than that; totally great! I use spf50 year-round, and I use this as the last step in my makeup routine - after setting spray. Essence makes the best mascaras!
The Lash Princess mascaras (this one and the one in the green tube) have been my favorites for several years! They hold the curl after using an eyelash curler, give really good length and volume, and are unbeatable in price. They can flake a little after a long day, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me. Doesn't work...
Easy to apply and smells good in the 'tube' but that's about it... It's not an antiperspirant so it doesn't stop sweat odor, which I think should be the minimum requirement for a deodorant.. Additionally, it leaves stains on clothes. One of the best!
I have used the color 'Pink Mirage' - as it was the only matte version of this blush that existed back then :) And to say it, I have tried the other version with shimmer and I didn't like it... But this matte!! Extremely pigmented, so use just a dot at a time! Super easy to blend out with a brush and gives a fantastic nice, slightly 'sunburnt' peach color that is lovely in the summer. I am someone who loves blush in general, but especially the cream or liquid versions, and I have tried most from many brands. Here you have blush for ages since you need so little at a time. I will definitely buy more colors (maybe all) when they become available, because here you get good quality and a lot for your money!! [hashtag]1 product in post One of the best!131 views
