Here I have the upper layer left. The hair has already been washed, mousse applied, and blow-dried straight. I slept with Heatless curls but have brushed them out. I made curls section by section. First about 10 seconds of warm air, a few seconds of cooler air, and then a clip so the curl can cool in the same shape. Since the airwrap needs some moisture in the hair to grip, I spray each level with a little water and then heat protection. Just a wet heat protectant would have worked too. I put the "bangs" on rollers because I want more volume there. I could have rolled all on rollers but now I wanted to try "pinning" the curls directly from the airwrap. When I'm done, I spray with a little texture and finish spray. Then I went and did my makeup while the curls cool down. The fiber mousse makes my hair EVEN thicker, so a third roller would definitely have been great to get more curls and not just volume, but it’s easier to sleep with two than three on my head since I sleep both on my side and back. I've used several bottles of this leave-in conditioner now, and I absolutely LOVE it! No other leave-in I've tried has made my hair as soft as this one does! However, ignore the 20-in-1 marketing.. it's pretty silly, because by those standards almost every leave-in conditioner would be "20-in-1". I spray this leave-in conditioner into a cupped hand and then apply it with my hands to the hair lengths (not the scalp).. it works really well and gives me better control than spraying directly. The scent is nice but faint and almost disappears right after application.. that doesn't bother me much. Add a separate heat protectant if you're going to straighten your hair. I had the opportunity to be #lykotestpilot at #matrix new series #glowmania and I am totally okay satisfied. All the products in the series have a very fresh scent that can feel a bit sharp at first before you get used to it. This leave-in spray is sprayed on wet hair before you brush it out, the spray really makes it easy to detangle the hair without any knots that can drive you crazy. The spray also gives a nice shine to the hair, though I do feel that the hair can feel greasy relatively quickly after washing, maybe it depends on how much product you use or if it just doesn't suit my hair. I had the honor of being a tester for Matrix's new series Glow Mania with shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in spray. The first impression was a very fresh but distinct citrus scent, I thought it was almost too much at first. Otherwise, I like sweet and "soft" scents in hair care. But after using the series for a while, I like it more and more. When you massage the shampoo in, it feels cooling on the scalp, which is very nice. However, it doesn't feel like the hair gets as clean as I would have liked, I experience that the hair gets greasy pretty quickly again - but I guess it's individual how the hair is. The conditioner is smooth and light and also has a very fresh scent. The hair feels lively, very light, and has gotten a nice shine! The leave-in spray makes the hair easy to comb out and makes the hair soft and silky, not to mention the shine - wow! 🤩 The pictures have slightly different lighting, the first is before I tested the products - I still think I see a difference in that the hair is more lively afterwards! I had the opportunity to be #lykotestpilot for a few weeks for #matrix Glow Mania. I have porous, colored, and bleached hair that needs extra love before blow-drying. I didn’t think this was a wow product since Matrix has better leave-ins that I describe further down! Leave in: ✅Heat protection 230°C ✅Smells good, like Earl Grey tea approximately 🆗Hair can feel a bit greasy 🆗Pretty expensive but a totally okay economical product ❌Not much shine ❌I have tested both this “Glow mania leave in” and “Matrix miracle creator total results” (Lyko article 1008-264-0190) Glow mania focuses solely on shine, color retention, and heat protection up to 230°C. Miracle Creator has the same properties plus for example faster blow-drying, frizz control, moisture protection, etc. for a cheaper price (and smells better). Glow mania is also developed for use in wet hair while MC can be used in both wet and dry hair. Conditioner ✅Reasonable price ✅Good packaging ✅Easy to detangle 🆗The hair is soft and shiny but not more than usual 🆗The conditioner smells like tea, almost like Earl Grey? It smells good in the shower, but unfortunately the shampoo smells fresh citrus and the conditioner smells like sweet tea, so after the shower, the hair has no distinct scent of anything. Separately, they smell very good but not together ❌The hair definitely becomes soft when dry, but it almost feels like the conditioner isn’t completely rinsed out and remains like a film on the hair strands Unfortunately, I haven’t had time to test the series long enough to see any difference in whether the color lasts longer or better.
