Nostalgia factor but there are better and cheaper alternatives!
A little about me: long, thin, stubbornly straight, naturally dark lashes that need volume, lift, and separation! This was my favorite mascara in high school so it's a bit fun to see that it's still around and has gotten a waterproof version! The brush is very thin and angled, which makes it easy to use and is the reason why it was my favorite mascara when I was younger. The brush makes it easy to separate the lashes and have full control over the application. However, a regular "bristly" brush works better for quickly and easily adding volume. But I personally prefer a brush like this! It is, however, a bit long and straight so it can be difficult to lift the lashes, and to get all the lashes - that's where curved brushes work better. The consistency of the formula is also quite easy to handle - thin and liquid, which again gives you full control. Waterproof formula is good for avoiding mess but also a must if you, like me, have very straight and stubborn lashes. A bit hard to remove, but that's usually the case with waterproof mascaras. However, neither the formula nor the brush is particularly unique on the market (unlike what my 16-year-old self thought😅), there are, as mentioned, better brushes and better formulas. This mascara is also quite expensive for its target group/price range. For example, Essence mascaras are both better and much cheaper! Additionally, the product is not cruelty-free💔🐇 So there are definitely better alternatives out there for a much cheaper price! ➕️ Nostalgia packaging!🔭 ➕️ Brush that is relatively easy to use ➕️ Good with waterproof alternative to the original ➖️ Not a unique brush, there are better variants out there (e.g. Benefit Roller Lash is superb! Quality product in super cute packaging, seriously one of the prettiest packages I have ever seen for a hair care product🩷 (The whole line looks absolutely wonderful together on the bathroom shelf!) My hair felt soft and voluminous after use, and less frizzy. Additionally, my scalp felt less irritated. However, you can get similar products for less money. Does not meet expectations, not recommended
A little about me: sensitive scalp that often itches both right after washing and as soon as the hair gets dirty. Fine hair. This kit works and feels like any shampoo/conditioner kit, which is convenient. Smells good. However, I did not experience any improvement, neither relief from itching immediately nor reduced flaking over time. Additionally, the serum was difficult to apply and distribute on the scalp, it sat on top of the hair and hardened. It could be combed out, but it was difficult, and the hair still looked weighed down and dirty, which feels disappointing right after washing. There are cheaper and better scalp products out there that are also cruelty free. Not recommended! ➕️ Easy to use ➕️ Smells good, mint! (not gum mint but more of a spa mint) ➕️ Tingling, activating feeling in the scalp (due to mint?). A little about me: I love lip products in all colors and forms! I like lipsticks that are easy to apply and that don't dry out the lips! Very glossy and easy to apply lipstick! Light pigmentation so it covers a little but doesn't give much color. Feels and behaves more like a lip balm than a lipstick, so it works best for a natural look! Doesn't smudge and feels light on the lips, doesn't dry out! Smells a bit strange, like perfume but more chemical? Regardless, a faint scent. Clunky and boring packaging that feels cheap/dated. Not cruelty free so it's a no-go for me.
