One of the products I recently got to try as #LYKOINFLUTESTER is #aco’s new Face Purifying Night Balm; which is a night cream that should hydrate the skin but also make it clearer and balanced. About me and my skin: I am 20 years old and have oily/combination skin. I have had some issues with pimples and pores over the years, and products with perfume often don’t work so well for me. First impression: The packaging was basically identical to the day cream: minimalist and easy to use. So far so good! 🤗 The texture was nice – a bit richer than the day cream but still pleasant. What attracts me is that it says blemish control, while also being nourishing and soothing, which sounds exactly like what I need in a night cream. Result: I haven’t reacted to it like I can with some products – helps that it’s perfume-free and non-comedogenic. Good to get moisture without waking up feeling like my skin is super oily. Good, but not fantastic
This time I had the honor as #LYKOINFLUTESTER to test some new skincare products from #aco, including this Face Purifying Booster Serum (BHA). It is described as a multifunctional serum with BHA (Salicylic Acid) that is supposed to even out, soothe, and strengthen the skin as well as prevent impurities. About me and my skin: I have oily/combination skin and have had some problems with pimples and many impurities. My skin doesn’t tolerate much perfume, and sometimes when I use products with active ingredients, my skin barrier can’t quite handle it. 😣 First impression: The packaging is nice and sleek, but also easy to use. The serum is light and has low viscosity – it almost feels like applying water to the skin in my opinion! Result: A bit scary sometimes with active ingredients, but this did not destroy my skin barrier. Fair price, but I think there are better and cheaper serums – at least for me. It didn’t do more than other serums have done for my skin; moisturized a bit and reduced some of my pores. And unlike some skincare products, at least my skin didn’t get worse from this. Decent day cream :)
My latest assignment as #lykoinflutester has been to test some of #aco's new products in their "Face Purifying" series; including this Face Purifying Day Cream. This is a day cream that is supposed to suit all skin types and is meant to hydrate, strengthen the skin barrier, and give clearer skin! A bit about me and my skin: I am 20 years old and have oily/combination skin. I've struggled quite a bit over the years with pimples and pores, and products with perfume are a no-go. Sometimes when I use products with active ingredients, my skin barrier can't quite handle it and my skin becomes very tight. Experience: My first impression was that the cream's packaging was simple and easy to use. The cream's texture was pleasant and absorbed well into the skin. Result: Good, but nothing special. It hasn't given me more pimples or pores compared to what I used before, but it hasn't reduced them significantly either. But nothing to complain about! Good day cream if you're on a budget! Innovative, but there’s room for improvement 🩷🧡
Now in the summer sun, it’s important to apply sunscreen, and to reapply several times if you choose to stay in the rays 🌞 Especially me, being ginger and easily getting burned, I always need to have sunscreen with me in the summer to avoid turning into a lobster🦞But it can often be a bit cumbersome to carry a big bottle of sunscreen in the bag 🫤 It’s also a bit tricky to reapply sunscreen over makeup without ruining it, which often creates a dilemma whether I want to ruin my makeup or risk getting burned. 🥵 That’s why I was really happy to try Peach Barrier Peach Sun Cushion from #SMUUTISKIN !🥳🥳🥳 The product is an SPF50 sunscreen in cushion format, which together with the small heart-shaped puff included, is supposed to make it easy to apply sunscreen during the day, even over makeup! My first impression was that the packaging was very cute, but also a very good size to carry in the bag! 🧡🩷The heart-shaped puff is also a fun touch! The product is very easy to use, and it still applies quite well over makeup (although the sponge can absorb some of the makeup). However, a slightly less good aspect is that you don’t really know how much sunscreen you need, and it feels like you need to use quite a lot. This combined with the fact that the packaging is not refillable makes it feel like the product will run out very quickly (since you only get 15 ml of product), and that you might have spent your money on something that doesn’t last very long. The price for the small amount you get might not be ideal :/ But who knows – maybe it lasts the whole summer and is then a perfect product to make sure you can reapply sun protection after a few hours! I personally appreciate that the product is fragrance-free since I’m sensitive to fragrance! It also contains peach extract and ceramides that protect your skin barrier (always a plus)! I also love that it’s SPF 50, for a fellow ginger like me who burns at the slightest sun exposure 😜👩🏻🦰 I think the idea itself is phenomenal, but the execution could maybe be improved a bit. It’s mostly that it’s not refillable, but otherwise the small size makes it perfect to carry in the bag on a sunny day👛🧡🩷 So if you, like me, maybe choose not to apply more sunscreen if you have makeup on, this is an innovative product to protect yourself but at the same time not ruin your makeup! Allover mist is overall good 🤭🌺
I had the honor as #lykoinflutester to test the Fenty Skin Body Allover Body Mist Hey Bouquet Mini from #fenty! This is an allover body mist whose scent is described as bold floral. 💐 My first impression was that it was a cute bottle, very clean in appearance, with a transparent pink that I think matches the scent. 🩷 The amount you get I think is good for a mini, and the bottle has a nice size that makes it easy to throw in your bag on the go or travel with🛫👜 I really like the finely distributed mist that is soft and spreads well and pleasantly over the skin. 🚿 The scent itself is very concentrated and feels very strong and intense at first (almost a bit chemical 🙃). But it is sweet and floral, while also having depth thanks to notes like sandalwood. This makes it a lovely summer scent in my opinion, really vacation vibes🌺 This is a scent for those who really want to be noticed I think the mist holds very well throughout the day, and you notice how the scent changes over time; first quite strong and a bit spicier, but after a while the floral sweetness comes out more. 🌸🍭 But for me, if you use too much, it becomes just that – too much – since it is still quite heavy with sandalwood and pink peppercorn, so I am quite light-handed with this one. Usually I use perfumes and not body mists but was positively surprised how little mist you need and how well it holds throughout the day. Also, I love sweet perfumes but usually lean more towards gourmand than floral – but this was a nice change that I think will be used quite a bit this summer☀️ In summary, a sweet, floral, and summery scent but also spicy and a bit darker. Nice mist, only needs a little and holds well! Natural and dewy!✨💧
Everyone who knows me knows that my favorite makeup product is blush. So trying new ones is always something I look forward to. That’s why I’m excited to share that I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to test the Futurist Blushmaker in the shade “Stolen Glance” from #esteelauder !! 🥳🥳 My first impression of this cream blush was that the packaging felt bougie but also practical: a tube that makes it easy to get the blush out, and an applicator that allows you to be very precise about how much and where you want your blush. I also thought the color was extreeeeemmt pretty!😽 The application of the product was easy with, as mentioned, a nice applicator, and it was also very easy to blend out. Not super pigmented color, but buildable📈📈 The blush is dewy💧 (which I like) and gives a natural flush of color. It also has pretty good longevity throughout the day 🥰🫰 I, who have acne-prone skin, love when makeup is also caring - which this is with ingredients like raspberry extract and glycerin!! So this doesn’t give me any pimples 🙌🙌 I would say that the applicator and formula make this a good beginner blush, but I don’t really think the price matches the beginner vibe; a bit too expensive…💸 But for those who want a caring blush that is buildable, easy to apply and blend out, and is very natural and dewy, this is a super alternative!! 💖💖 I really like it a lot, but I don’t know if I personally would buy it again considering the price ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I already own a lot of other blush😆1 product in post Natural and dewy!✨💧238 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Good - but is it worth the price?
I'm back, and this time you get to see my review of the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder. This concealer is described to provide long-lasting coverage, oil control, and hydration.🥰 My first impression was that the packaging was very nice; simple and sleek, but also looks luxurious (which the brand is anyway). 😌 Then when I read about the product, I learned how well thought-out the stick - design was to adapt to the different functions that a concealer stick can have - which I thought was very fun 🤗 I have a combination skin type that is mostly oily, but a bit drier in areas like under the eyes and around the nose. My skin is also acne-prone. 🫣 I chose shade 1C because I have a light and cool skin tone, but despite that, I found the concealer to be a bit yellow on me, which I don't expect when I choose a shade that is supposed to have a cool undertone. 🤔 The concealer was easy to apply with the stick and had very good coverage. Since it is a matte concealer, it is a bit on the drier side, and I found it easier to blend out with my fingers than with a brush. As promised, the product had good oil control for the oily areas of my skin, but it settled a bit in the lines under my eyes and became a bit too dry around my nose (which most concealers do for me🥲). I didn't notice the hydration that was mentioned right away. \_( 4C4)_/ The wear time was very good, though, and the concealer didn't seem to clog pores or cause me to break out more. 🙌 In summary: A matte concealer with good coverage, precise stick, and oil control. 2B Good coverage 🙈 2B Decent wear time 2B Oil control 🧖♀️ 2B Good concealer stick 2B Easy application ✨ 2B No more acne -Is it a bit too warm in tone?🔥 -Is it a bit too dry for my dry areas🏖️ -Not hydrating as described❌ -The price (still a high-end concealer that does the job less well than some cheaper ones) 💸 It's a good, but expensive, concealer that probably suits slightly oilier skin types, and the downsides of this (besides the price) can be very individual, but if you're looking for a matte, medium - high coverage concealer, and can afford to spend a little money on it, this might be one for you! 🤗 #lykoinflutester1 product in post Good - but is it worth the price? - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. New day, new Lyko mission!! This time I have as #lykoinflutester tested among other things the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup SPF10 from #esteelauder !!😝 The packaging is simple but looks luxurious. I think it’s a bit awkward how you distribute the product from the bottle - there’s nothing direct. It becomes harder to control how much product you get out, unless you are incredibly light-handed. It would be better with a pump or something. The product is supposed to be a mattifying foundation, with buildable medium to full coverage that lasts for 24 hours no matter what you find yourself doing. 🙌 This foundation is matte, which I appreciate as I have combination/oily skin. But even though it’s mattifying, I still think my natural glow shines through nicely.✨ It’s also fragrance-free, oil-free, and should not clog pores, which I appreciate as someone with quite acne-prone skin - and I haven’t experienced that this has affected my pores or caused me to breakout. 🔥The coverage is good and the longevity too: I’ve had this on for a 12-hour shift as a waitress where you run around, as well as a full day of snowmobiling where I wore a helmet, and I barely saw a difference before and after. Super all-in-one spray!
I have as #LYKOINFLUTESTER tested the ”9 wonders All-in-one No 109 Orange” from #NOBERU, a brand I have never tried before! This hair product is supposed to be a multifunctional spray, acting as heat protection that counteracts frizz and provides softness and shine. My first impression of the product was that the packaging looked both luxurious and sleek. The scent was fresh but a bit spicier than what I usually go for. The mist was evenly distributed over the hair and had a light consistency. I really appreciate the multifunctionality of the product, as I usually use 2 different products for leave-in and heat protection, but this allows me to use just one! It makes it very simple. I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair, and I found that this counteracted my frizz and made my hair both smoother and softer!! However, I don’t feel that it shortens the time as it claims to do… but still: Great all-in-one spray! I got to try the ”9 Wonders Anti-frizz Conditioner” from #noberu as #lykoinflutester. The packaging feels luxurious and the scent too, but a bit too heavy and masculine for my taste. I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair and think this is a super anti-frizz conditioner. Less frizz, the hair feels softer and smoother and looks shinier. I really recommend it for those of you who have problems with frizz, especially in combination with the other products from the same collection!🤩1 product in post Nice 👏139 views
