Natural and dewy!✨💧
Everyone who knows me knows that my favorite makeup product is blush. So trying new ones is always something I look forward to. That’s why I’m excited to share that I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to test the Futurist Blushmaker in the shade “Stolen Glance” from #esteelauder !! 🥳🥳 My first impression of this cream blush was that the packaging felt bougie but also practical: a tube that makes it easy to get the blush out, and an applicator that allows you to be very precise about how much and where you want your blush. I also thought the color was extreeeeemmt pretty!😽 The application of the product was easy with, as mentioned, a nice applicator, and it was also very easy to blend out. Not super pigmented color, but buildable📈📈 The blush is dewy💧 (which I like) and gives a natural flush of color. It also has pretty good longevity throughout the day 🥰🫰 I, who have acne-prone skin, love when makeup is also caring - which this is with ingredients like raspberry extract and glycerin!! So this doesn’t give me any pimples 🙌🙌 I would say that the applicator and formula make this a good beginner blush, but I don’t really think the price matches the beginner vibe; a bit too expensive…💸 But for those who want a caring blush that is buildable, easy to apply and blend out, and is very natural and dewy, this is a super alternative!! 💖💖 I really like it a lot, but I don’t know if I personally would buy it again considering the price ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I already own a lot of other blush😆1 product in post Natural and dewy!✨💧169 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Good - but is it worth the price?
I'm back, and this time you get to see my review of the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder. This concealer is described to provide long-lasting coverage, oil control, and hydration.🥰 My first impression was that the packaging was very nice; simple and sleek, but also looks luxurious (which the brand is anyway). 😌 Then when I read about the product, I learned how well thought-out the stick - design was to adapt to the different functions that a concealer stick can have - which I thought was very fun 🤗 I have a combination skin type that is mostly oily, but a bit drier in areas like under the eyes and around the nose. My skin is also acne-prone. 🫣 I chose shade 1C because I have a light and cool skin tone, but despite that, I found the concealer to be a bit yellow on me, which I don't expect when I choose a shade that is supposed to have a cool undertone. 🤔 The concealer was easy to apply with the stick and had very good coverage. Since it is a matte concealer, it is a bit on the drier side, and I found it easier to blend out with my fingers than with a brush. As promised, the product had good oil control for the oily areas of my skin, but it settled a bit in the lines under my eyes and became a bit too dry around my nose (which most concealers do for me🥲). I didn't notice the hydration that was mentioned right away. \_( 4C4)_/ The wear time was very good, though, and the concealer didn't seem to clog pores or cause me to break out more. 🙌 In summary: A matte concealer with good coverage, precise stick, and oil control. 2B Good coverage 🙈 2B Decent wear time 2B Oil control 🧖♀️ 2B Good concealer stick 2B Easy application ✨ 2B No more acne -Is it a bit too warm in tone?🔥 -Is it a bit too dry for my dry areas🏖️ -Not hydrating as described❌ -The price (still a high-end concealer that does the job less well than some cheaper ones) 💸 It's a good, but expensive, concealer that probably suits slightly oilier skin types, and the downsides of this (besides the price) can be very individual, but if you're looking for a matte, medium - high coverage concealer, and can afford to spend a little money on it, this might be one for you! 🤗 #lykoinflutester1 product in post Good - but is it worth the price? - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. New day, new Lyko mission!! This time I have as #lykoinflutester tested among other things the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup SPF10 from #esteelauder !!😝 The packaging is simple but looks luxurious. I think it’s a bit awkward how you distribute the product from the bottle - there’s nothing direct. It becomes harder to control how much product you get out, unless you are incredibly light-handed. It would be better with a pump or something. The product is supposed to be a mattifying foundation, with buildable medium to full coverage that lasts for 24 hours no matter what you find yourself doing. 🙌 This foundation is matte, which I appreciate as I have combination/oily skin. But even though it’s mattifying, I still think my natural glow shines through nicely.✨ It’s also fragrance-free, oil-free, and should not clog pores, which I appreciate as someone with quite acne-prone skin - and I haven’t experienced that this has affected my pores or caused me to breakout. 🔥The coverage is good and the longevity too: I’ve had this on for a 12-hour shift as a waitress where you run around, as well as a full day of snowmobiling where I wore a helmet, and I barely saw a difference before and after. Super all-in-one spray!
I have as #LYKOINFLUTESTER tested the ”9 wonders All-in-one No 109 Orange” from #NOBERU, a brand I have never tried before! This hair product is supposed to be a multifunctional spray, acting as heat protection that counteracts frizz and provides softness and shine. My first impression of the product was that the packaging looked both luxurious and sleek. The scent was fresh but a bit spicier than what I usually go for. The mist was evenly distributed over the hair and had a light consistency. I really appreciate the multifunctionality of the product, as I usually use 2 different products for leave-in and heat protection, but this allows me to use just one! It makes it very simple. I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair, and I found that this counteracted my frizz and made my hair both smoother and softer!! However, I don’t feel that it shortens the time as it claims to do… but still: Great all-in-one spray! I got to try the ”9 Wonders Anti-frizz Conditioner” from #noberu as #lykoinflutester. The packaging feels luxurious and the scent too, but a bit too heavy and masculine for my taste. I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair and think this is a super anti-frizz conditioner. Less frizz, the hair feels softer and smoother and looks shinier. This time as #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try the ”9 Wonders Anti-frizz Shampoo” from the brand #NOBERU. The packaging looks both sleek and luxurious in my opinion! However, the scent is a bit more masculine for my taste, as I prefer sweet and fruity scents :/ I definitely think this shampoo is good. I have thick, wavy, and frizzy hair, and it feels like this helped combat my frizz and made it softer. This time I, as #lykoinflutester, got to test the ”Wonder’Bond Lash Filler + Hyaluronic Mascara” from #rimmel! This is described as a lash-thickening volumizing mascara, which is supposed to have intense color and nourishing ingredients! A big plus when makeup products nourish instead of damage!😄 First impression: basic but nice packaging, I like that it’s purple. The brush looked promising, with a bend to follow the natural shape of the eye, and a design that ensures just the right amount of product comes on the brush ready to apply! 🥰 Then when I finally went to use it, I was actually a bit shocked. I’m quite picky with my mascaras, so my expectation was that I would only think this was just okay - but I was completely wrong! The product is not only easy and quick to use, but the result is incredibly beautiful! My lashes not only get more volume but also look longer and fuller. Just look at the difference without and with! No clumps, and no difficulty separating the lashes! Plus, it doesn’t flake throughout the day either🥳🥳 can’t be anything but satisfied! Bad nozzle, but does its job, I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I am a person who is very mindful of my hair health, so it is very important for me to have a good heat protectant every time I use any kind of heat on my hair. Therefore, it was very fitting that I, as #lykoinflutester, got to test Instant Heat Protection from #waterclouds. The first impression of the product was that the packaging was simple but nice, and that the spray had a fresh scent. This heat protectant is supposed to be not only a protective spray that prevents damage from heat, but also nourishing and contributes to volume and shine in the hair.🌟 I have tested a few heat protection products, and unfortunately, I can't say that this one stood out for me. It does its job and protects from the heat, but more than that, I didn't notice anything special. Additionally, the nozzle on the bottle is not ideal, as it sprays in a narrow stream instead of a fine mist, which makes it harder to distribute evenly over the hair. 🥲 But yes, it does its job, but not much more than that. I don't notice any extra volume, maybe a tad more shine, but the nozzle also detracts from the experience of the product. Sustainable and Affordable!! 🌟
Hey everyone!🤗 I’m happy to say that I’ve had the honor of trying the talked-about primer “The Face Glue Primer” from #nyxprofessionalmakeup, a brand that I really like!! My first impression of the product was that it was a fun idea; I liked the comparison that a gripping primer would be like glue for your makeup. Therefore, it’s fun that the packaging looks like a little glue bottle, but I still think it’s sleek. The primer itself has a consistency that is creamier than I expected, and it’s not too sticky to feel messy when applying, but it still becomes sticky enough to act as a good glue for the makeup. It also doesn’t smell like anything in particular, which I appreciate since I don’t like heavily scented makeup products. 🥳 This primer is easy to apply to the face, absorbs quickly into the skin, and allows the makeup to lay nicely on top. I also find that my makeup holds up well throughout the day when I use this, and it gives me a glow☀️ In the pictures, I show how my makeup looked when I first applied it with this primer and then 10 hours later, with no retouching!! I don’t see a super big difference, and this is even after I shed a few tears while watching the finale of my favorite show 🥲 The primer is supposed to keep your makeup stable for 12 hours and hydrate your skin for 24 hours. I, who have quite sensitive skin that can react to makeup, LOVE when makeup products have ingredients that also care for the skin 🧖♀️ I also have acne-prone skin, and this primer is supposed to be “non-comedogenic,” which means it doesn’t clog pores, something I always look for when shopping for makeup! 💄 My skin can react to certain products, but I haven’t noticed any difference since I started using this!! And the price - wow! Smells amazing and moisturizes well🌸💧
I have had the honor of being #lykoinflutester to test True Soft Argan Oil from #marianila, a brand I personally have never tried before. My first impression was that the packaging was simple but nice, a bit classy like that, and it feels like good quality. The packaging is also climate compensated, which I appreciate! 🌿🌱 Then the scent of the hair oil is divine; it is floral and fresh, and I like that it will make my hair smell good. 🌸 The consistency of the product is pleasant and not sticky like I experience with some hair oils. 👏 True Soft Argan Oil is supposed to be a hair oil that is caring, by softening, moisturizing, and strengthening the hair. It should also protect against UV rays (good in the summer ☀️) and preserve your hair color (something I personally do not need since I do not dye my hair, but still good!). And I definitely think the product lives up to its promises!🥰 My (usually, not like in the picture) wavy hair is very thick, long, and frizzy, and has some split and dry ends; but I feel that this oil helps! 🤗 My hair feels smooth, looks shiny, and is less frizzy after using this. In the picture, you can still see a little frizz (but not nearly as much as before) and my split ends, but look how shiny my hair is!! ✨ I definitely recommend this oil to those of you who want a good caring oil, which also smells good, absorbs easily, and is not sticky!! The only reason it falls short for me is the price - when you are 19 years old, you don’t have much, and almost 400 for a hair oil still feels like a lot in the wallet 💔💸 But the hair oil is also vegan and cruelty-free, which for me is a big plus!!💕1 product in post Smells amazing and moisturizes well🌸💧830 views
