Very basic
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this cream from #aco! 💙 This is a nice and pleasant night cream that above all does what I expect from a regular moisturizing cream. It feels soft and hydrating on the skin and works well in the evening, without feeling uncomfortably heavy or greasy. However, I didn’t feel it did much beyond moisturizing. The ingredients are quite simple, and for me, it wasn’t enough as the only product in my evening routine. I will probably need to complement it with other serums and active ingredients, for example for anti-aging. I also didn’t notice any particular changes in skin texture or pores that I could link specifically to the night cream. When I started the test period, I had an acne breakout along my jawline. After about three weeks, it had completely healed, which you can see in my before and after photos, and I didn’t feel the cream caused any new breakouts. So my skin seemed to do well with it even when it was more acne-prone. The cream is supposed to be exfoliating, which I can be a bit sensitive to and usually don’t reach for in products I use daily, but I experienced no problems even though I used it every night for four weeks. Maybe it could conflict if I use other active ingredients. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the cream, it’s nice, moisturizing, and worked well on my skin, but for me, it feels a bit too basic for me to buy it again. I would have liked a bit more than just hydration from a night cream. But for a regular night cream for maybe younger, acne-prone skin, it’s great! Moisturizing!
💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this product from #aco! 💙 I was actually very positively surprised by this day cream. Since it is designed for oilier and blemished skin, I expected a fairly light cream with little moisture, but it moisturized much better than I thought. The skin felt soft and hydrated without the cream feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. What I especially liked was how the skin looked throughout the day. I felt it smoothed the skin a bit and that fine lines became less noticeable, almost as if the skin became a bit more “plumped.” It also absorbed nicely and worked well as a day cream without the skin feeling overloaded. It worked great under makeup and the skin didn’t look dry with makeup on! When I started testing the product, I also had a fairly noticeable acne breakout along the jawline. After about three weeks, it had completely healed, which you can see in my before and after pictures, and I didn’t get any new major breakouts during that time. Of course, I can’t say that the day cream alone did this, but the fact that it contains vitamin C may have helped minimize pigmentation spots after the pimples. Overall, a day cream that surprised me, especially when it comes to moisture and the smoothing feeling. 💙As a #lykoinflutester, I had the honor of testing this serum from #aco!💙 The consistency is almost like water, and the serum fully absorbs into the skin, which I really liked. It leaves no sticky residue at all. I didn’t get any new acne breakouts while using it, and the acne breakout I had along my jaw when I started the test completely healed after about three weeks, which you can see in my before and after pictures. However, I’m more doubtful about the effect on blackheads and sebaceous filaments. Even though the serum contains BHA, I didn’t notice any improvement in my blackheads and almost felt that my sebaceous filaments became more prominent. Of course, I can’t say for sure that it was because of the serum. For the acne, my experience was positive, but I had expected more effect on clogged pores from a BHA serum. I have tested other similar serums that are stronger or better formulated. However, I do feel that I didn’t get as many pigment spots from the breakout, which this serum may have contributed to along with the day and night creams that are also supposed to have exfoliating effects! Fragrance that lasts!
✨ I have, as #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try the Hair & Body Fragrance Mist from #nyx Professional Makeup in the scent Caramelt Mami! ✨ If you like sweet, warm scents, this is definitely one to check out. Caramel Mami smells like a soft mix of caramel, pistachio, and creamy gourmand notes. Very cozy and perfect for fall/winter. I find the mist feels light and nice upon application. The spray distributes evenly and doesn’t feel wet or heavy, neither in the hair nor on the body. This makes it easy to use for a quick refresh during the day. At first spray, I initially thought the scent was plastic-like and not pleasant at all, but after a while on the skin, the scent develops softly and warmly and becomes really nice! The longevity on the skin is great, and I find it lasts even longer in the hair. It doesn’t have the same intensity as a perfume, but that’s also the charm! It feels more relaxed and easy to wear. This is a typical “you want to spray more” product, precisely because it’s so pleasant and easy to wear. It also works well layered with body butter and body oil for a longer-lasting scent. In summary, this is a lovely hair & body mist with a sweet and warm gourmand scent that feels both playful and cozy. Perfect for those who like caramel vibes without it being too heavy. Perfect for parties!
✨ As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try Fat Oil Body Oil from #nyx Professional Makeup in the scent Caramelt Mami! ✨ The first thing that stands out with this is the glow, and we’re really talking glow here! The oil gives the skin a lot of radiance and contains quite a bit of shimmer that is clearly visible on the skin. The oil is also tinted, with a warm terracotta brown color, which actually shows on the skin. So if you have lighter skin, you can expect a little "tan" effect! (A very light and cool skin tone probably wouldn’t appreciate it) The scent is the same lovely Caramelt Mami as in the rest of the series: warm, sweet, and gourmand with clear caramel notes and a creamy feel that makes it really cozy to use. I find the oil neither too thick nor too light in consistency, but it spreads nicely on the skin without feeling too heavy or sticky. The skin feels soft and looks moisturized right after application. But if you don’t like "oily" body oils, beware! What’s worth mentioning, though, is that the shimmer is much more intense than I expected, especially in the sun where it sparkles a lot. For me, that makes it feel less like an everyday product and more like something you use when you want to stand out a bit! I therefore think it’s better suited for parties, nights out, vacations, or summer events when you want that extra glowy and almost glamorous look on arms, legs, or décolleté. If you’re wearing light clothes, I’d also let the product set a bit before dressing. I made the mistake of wearing a white top while applying, and the oil transferred a little. It was easy to remove right away, but I later noticed it stopped transferring to clothes after it had set for a while. In summary, this is a body oil that gives a lot of glow, clear shimmer, and a lovely gourmand scent. ✨ I have had the chance as #lykoinflutester to try Fat Oil Body Butter from #nyx Professional Makeup in the scent Caramelt Mami! ✨ The first thing I noticed was the scent, and wow, it’s really something for those who like sweet gourmand fragrances. Caramel Mami smells warm and creamy with caramel and pistachio, with a soft sweetness that feels luxurious without being too sharp. I find the formula rich and creamy, yet airy on the skin. Even though it’s a body butter, it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky, which I really appreciate. It melts in nicely and leaves the skin soft, moisturized, and with a subtle glow. I think it does a really good job on drier areas like elbows, legs, and knees, where the skin often needs a little extra love. On my skin, it feels nourishing without leaving a greasy residue. Natural Glow!
✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Futurist Blushmaker from #esteelauder in the shade Across The Dancefloor! ✨ The first thing I reacted to was actually the color. Based on the pictures, I had expected a more muted, slightly subdued mauve, but in reality, it is significantly more vibrant and almost leaning towards coral for me. It is absolutely a nice color, but not quite what I had imagined. The formula, however, is very nice. It feels silky and easy to work with, and it is pigmented without being hard to control. It’s easy to build up the intensity in layers without it getting patchy. The finish is radiant and gives an even, soft glow without visible glitter. It looks more like a healthy glow. It melts nicely into the base and gives a fresh impression right away. On my skin, it sits well throughout the day and retains both color and glow without getting patchy. The packaging is also very special and feels a bit more luxurious. However, I don’t quite understand the point of the metal tip. Cakey unfortunately!
✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup from #esteelauder in the shade 2N2 Buff! ✨ I have used the older version before, so I was very curious to try this one, but the experience was actually a bit different than I had expected. For starters, I find that the shade is both yellower and much darker than I anticipated. This is probably my fault as I didn’t see pictures of the shade beforehand and went by the description “light-medium.” On my skin, which leans more neutral/light warm, it didn’t quite balance out in undertone as I had hoped, which is good to keep in mind if you are sensitive to yellow tones and pale. It will surely be a much better match in the spring when I get darker and warmer in my skin. The consistency is still relatively thin and pigmented, but unlike the older version, I feel that this one is a bit more cakey and a little harder to blend out evenly. I need to work faster and more carefully to avoid it setting before I’ve had time to work it in properly, and it can easily become patchy. The coverage is high and it definitely evens out the skin tone effectively, but I find that it really emphasizes texture, especially on the drier areas of my combination skin. The finish is matte and very “long-wear,” but I don’t experience the same smooth, almost skin-like feel that I remember from the previous version. The wear is still good and it stays in place throughout the day, but the overall impression was unfortunately not quite as impressive as I had hoped. In summary, this is a foundation with high coverage and good wear, but keep in mind that the shade may appear yellower/darker than expected and that the formula may require a bit more work during application. Coverage but natural finish
✨ I have as #lykoinflutester tested the Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer from #esteelauder in the shade 2N! ✨ I found the shade to be a bit darker and yellower than I expected, as I didn't see any pictures when I chose the color, but it will surely match great for spring. I am neutral to slightly warm when I am pale, It still blends nicely into my skin tone and works well both under the eyes and on imperfections. The formula is on the thicker and drier side, but not as dry as the foundation in the same series. It feels pigmented and compact, and it is really very economical. Small dabs are enough for a medium-high coverage! I think it is impressively covering without looking heavy or cakey on the skin. It blends out very seamlessly and melts into the base without leaving sharp edges. The result is even and smooth without it being obvious that you have concealer on. The wear is also really good and stays where it should throughout the day without losing coverage. I only have a little loose powder over where my concealer usually creases. In summary, this is a covering and long-lasting concealer that lasts a long time and gives a natural result despite its higher coverage. Just keep in mind that the shade may appear a bit yellower than expected for a neutral tone, but otherwise, it is a really stable product! ✨1 product in post Coverage but natural finish418 views
