    Nice mist

💦 I have as #lykoinflutester tried this setting spray from #fentybeauty! 💦 I have mixed feelings about this spray. What is good is that I really like the very fine mist, that it is fragrance-free, and I think my makeup holds a bit better with it. What I thought was less good is that I didn't really experience the makeup ”melting together” like with other wet setting sprays I've tried. When I spray it, my skin, as mentioned, becomes very wet but dries so that it almost feels ”dry,” even though you get glow in the moment. I don't feel like my setting powder, for example, melts in, but it still looks dry. On the other hand, I feel that my skin becomes less shiny throughout the day. In the video, I haven't used anything to refresh my base during the day, and it still looks nice despite a combination skin type! 💜 What I would have wished from this spray is that it melted my base together better, so that powder products ”disappear” into the cream products, and that the skin becomes more glowy in a natural and hydrated way, rather than the base looking more powdery. It is probably very good for you with very oily skin!💜

    So beautiful!

💋I have as #lykoinflutester tested this lovely lip gloss from #fentybeauty in the color Fu$$y! 💋 This is a really nice and especially lovely lip gloss in a transparent dusty rose color with very fine silver glitter in it. On the lips, it doesn't look glittery, but just very glossy. The gloss is not sticky at all, but feels really nice and moisturizing on the lips. So the lips don't get flaky like they can with other lip products, so it acts like a lip balm + lip gloss in one! This color works really well to wear alone on the lips as a ”clear gloss” since the color is very transparent, or even better together with your favorite lip liner. In the video, I used Mac's ”Stripdown”. For a lip gloss, I think the longevity is really good, I can eat or drink but still feel a layer on my lips instead of them feeling super dry. But you definitely have to reapply throughout the day like with most lip products. It has a very subtle and pleasant taste. 💄I will definitely buy more colors of this lip gloss!💄

    Feels like skincare!

💜 I have as #lykoinflutester gotten to try this gem from #fentybeauty! 💜 My first impression of this primer was that it felt like a gel-moisturizer, not at all silicone-y, and gave so much glow to the skin. It feels cool and nice to apply on the skin, and really feels like skincare rather than a primer. It is NOT sticky but really sinks into the skin! Perfect if you don't like the feeling of makeup and want a glowy base The primer has no scent which is a big plus. My skin is combination with larger pores in the t-zone and fine lines on my forehead. Unfortunately, I didn't experience my fine lines being plumped, but I did feel that my base generally became more even and maybe held better. The primer has worked well with silicone-based foundation and other silicone-based cream products. I have also noticed that my lines under the eyes become less prominent after using powder there with this, which is still good! Overall, I absolutely think my makeup holds well throughout the day, but not better than other drugstore primers I've tried. I probably wouldn't buy this again, but my makeup generally already holds very well as it is. I wish it was more plumping as it claims. ✨This primer is for you if you don't like the feeling of product and want your primer to sink in like a gel, want a lot of glow in your base, a fragrance-free product, and a smoother skin! ✨

    Wow, so surprised!

I have as #lykoinflutester tried this moisturizer from #mamonde! My skin is combination, dry on the surface with larger pores in the t-zone. I also have fine lines as a 26-year-old. I am actually surprised by this product. I have used it daily for three weeks and honestly, I didn’t think it moisturized particularly well. Despite using a hydrating serum underneath, my skin felt tight, and eventually, I had to apply a thicker cream on top to make it through. I also didn’t feel that my pores got smaller or were "filled from the inside" as the description says. BUT – the result on my fine lines has impressed! I have never tried bakuchiol before and had no high expectations, but after seeing the pictures, I am in shock. There has absolutely not been a miracle, but my lines on my forehead and glabella have smoothed out a bit, and in just three weeks. My skin looks more plump! However, I see no difference in my pores. But keep in mind that the before picture was taken right after washing, the after picture was taken in the morning before washing, so this is the result after it has had time to work overnight. Positively, I also have not experienced any irritation at all, even though the cream apparently contains both bakuchiol and retinol. I don’t think it works well as a moisturizing cream, but as an active serum for fine lines, it really delivers. It’s just a shame that it’s not rich enough for my dry skin. I give this cream 4/5 in rating, minus for the lack of hydration and no results on my pores. But! Big plus for really nice results on the lines!

    Did not work for me!

I have as #lykoinflutester tested this product from #mamonde! I have combination but dry skin. When I saw that this contained 10% PHA, I first thought it could be a milder active product, but the recommendation to apply it both morning and night was way too much for me. I tried to follow the instructions anyway, but my skin barrier got seriously damaged, which you can see in the picture. After a week of intensive barrier care, I dared to test it again. During the day, it made me very oily, so much that my makeup separated in the T-zone, something I never experience otherwise. Usually, I have glow in my skin, so I was disappointed when it went overboard. When I instead used it in the evening, about every third night, my skin still felt over-exfoliated, dry, and tight two days later, even though my skin is usually not particularly sensitive. I want to add that I tested this simultaneously with two other active products from Mamonde during the same testing period (two products from Mamonde on behalf of Lyko), which may have intensified the effect, even though I tried to space out the usage. The final rating is unfortunately 1/5. I found this to be anything but mild. Test it first 2/3 times a week and work your way up, even if you are used to acid users.

    Buttery!

I have as #lykoinflutester tested this cleansing balm from #mamonde. Please note that the product in the video is in travel size. I have combination and dry skin with sebaceous filaments mainly on my nose and also get blackheads now and then. I therefore hoped that this cleansing balm would cleanse the pores deeply, but unfortunately, I did not get that result. The product is marketed as mint-scented and I expected a fresh, tingling feeling but the scent was very mild and without that refreshing sensation. However, the consistency was wonderful and felt like butter, and it was really nice to massage into the skin. When it comes to makeup, it is unfortunately weak. It doesn't handle my mascara particularly well, so if I've worn makeup, I have to be extra careful when I follow up with my water-based cleanser. Therefore, I have mainly used it in the morning or when I haven't worn makeup, and then it works very well. I actually skip using a cleanser afterwards, and it leaves a light film after washing that feels soft and moisturizing. The skin does not feel tight at all like it usually does after cleansing, but rather pleasantly hydrated. The skin during the day feels more balanced and "glows". Probably due to the AHA/PHA acids in the product. Therefore, I am very careful to use SPF. But despite containing acids, I have used it almost every day without irritation! In summary, I give it 3/5. It did not deliver on deep pore cleansing, which was my biggest hope, but I really appreciated the feeling and hydration when I used it as a simple cleanser without makeup. I could actually see myself buying it again just for that feeling.

    No coverage at all!

I had the opportunity to test this tinted SPF as [hashtag], and I must say that I am unfortunately disappointed. The product itself is very runny, but it absolutely does not feel sticky and leaves a nice, slightly velvety/glowy finish when it dries down. I also really like the packaging, it’s cute and travel-friendly. But… I honestly don’t really understand the point of this product. It provides no coverage whatsoever. I have attached a video where I applied it over pigment spots that have darkened in the sun, and it literally looks like I haven’t applied anything at all (as far as coverage goes). I was expecting a light (sheer) coverage, but this is more like zero coverage and it couldn’t be built up. So I might as well use a regular sunscreen, and then I prefer SPF 50 over 30, especially when the product doesn’t contribute any cosmetic improvement. I chose the shade MP200, and it did blend in perfectly both when I was pale before the vacation and now when I am sunburned, but that’s probably more because it barely leaves any tint on the skin. I would have recommended the shade MP200 to someone with a warm/neutral, light/medium skin tone. Like me! The wear time is okay, but I, who have combination skin, became quite oily from it pretty quickly. However, the skin looked and felt hydrated, which was a plus. It worked well under makeup, but now during the summer I wear quite little makeup, so that might not say much. I much prefer Beauty of Joseon’s regular SPF. It has a higher protection, and I can use a light foundation or concealer over it. I would still have needed to apply something over this if I wanted coverage. I give it a rating of 2 out of 5. Mostly because the packaging is nice and my skin gets glowy – but I won’t buy it again. I really wish it had at least a little coverage, otherwise it’s just a runny SPF 30. [hashtag]

I agree, I was so disappointed when I applied this. Lyko advertises that it has coverage, SPF, and glow in 1. See zero coverage.

    Super even color!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the Tanning Drops from #bylyko's own brand, and here are my thoughts. The first time I used the product, I noticed that it gave a naturally sun-kissed color, which was very subtle and nice. I applied it to my face, mixed with my face cream, and already after the first application, I saw a nice, fresh tone. The evening after, I applied it again and woke up with a medium brown and even color that really looked natural and pretty. However, I think you have to use quite a bit of product to get a good color. For each application, you probably need about 7-10 drops, which feels quite a lot compared to other products. But it's worth it in relation to the price, and because the color becomes even and not patchy, and it lasts for a few days without disappearing unevenly. Really good value!!! It also feels like the serum itself is very moisturizing? This impresses me the most about the product. I didn't feel that my drier areas absorbed more, which I've experienced with all other tanning drops I've tested, especially when using them 2-3 evenings in a row. The scent is mild and fresh, which I also appreciate, and the product doesn't transfer onto clothes or sheets. I have a neutral skin tone, so I appreciate that the color is just neutral, which means it doesn't give an orange tone. In summary, I think the Tanning Drops are a good product for those who want a natural, even color. I would have liked to see that you didn't have to use so much product each time, but the result is really good and looks like a real tan that lasts a couple of days. Completely unbeatable for the price, and I will buy this again when my current drops run out! In the picture, I used ByLykos mousse on my neck and body and the tanning drops on my face, on the second evening in a row. (Sorry for the wound on my forehead)

    Not quite for me

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try a Tanning Mist from #bylyko's own brand, and here are my thoughts. First and foremost, I was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a fine mist like I had expected, but it felt more like a regular spray. I thought it sprayed quite unevenly, so I had to rub it in with a glove to be sure it wouldn't get patchy or uneven. I used it on my face and chest and think it gave an okay color, not dark but a bit sun-kissed. But I really prefer the mousse from Lyko more – it gives a more intense and even tan. The color from the mist isn't as intense, which makes it better suited for those who want a more natural look. I have a light neutral skin tone, so I was pleasantly surprised that the color was neutral instead of warm. It turned out to be a nice, natural shade. Definitely good for everyday use! Another thing that bothered me was that I was afraid of getting the spray in my hair, so I had to wrap a towel around my hair to protect it, especially since I have bleached blonde hair. I don't know if it would have done anything to my hair, but I didn't want to take the chance. The scent was tropical and fresh, which was a big plus, and it didn't stain my sheets, which I really appreciated. But I noticed that if I didn't moisturize properly, the color wouldn't be completely even, especially if I applied it several days in a row. Then it tended to be more intense because I was drier – so it's important to moisturize thoroughly before application. Maybe my spray was defective or just not the best, but if it was as it should be, I still think it's an okay product. It gives a natural result, but I probably wouldn't choose it again, as it doesn't fit my application style and I like the mousse better. The picture shows me the day after I used the spray on my face and blended it out myself. Very natural color!

    Budget find!

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try the #bylyko self-tanning mousse, and here’s what I think. I also applied this product with a velvet BUS glove. First and foremost, I don’t like that the mousse is colorless, as it makes it hard to see where I’ve applied it. I have to be extra careful and tend to apply more layers to be sure, it feels like I’m wasting some product. You also really need to moisturize hands/arms/feet and knees properly beforehand, otherwise the color gets very dark where it absorbs more. One advantage of it being colorless is that it doesn’t stain sheets, which is great. But without color, it’s easy to miss certain spots during application, so you have to be careful. The scent is tropical and quite pleasant, not the classic BUS scent that many other products have. The mousse doesn’t feel wet or sticky long after application, which I appreciate. I have a very neutral skin tone, so I was pleasantly surprised that the color was neutral instead of warm, as I experience with Bondi Sands BUS for example. It turned out a nice, natural shade. I slept with this on, and it actually gives quite a dark color, so it works well if you want a more intense tan. I think it looked nice on me, as I am light-skinned, but maybe a bit too much for someone who is more “fair.” The longevity was good – the color stayed nice for at least three days and faded evenly. However, my skin became quite dry after a few days, which I didn’t really like. I naturally have a slightly oilier skin. In summary, I think St. Tropez mousse is still superior, but I would absolutely consider buying Lyko’s mousse again as a backup option. It’s very affordable and gives a nice color for a good price. But be careful with moisturizing! Picture of me the day after application. In reality, the color looks cooler. On my face, I use the tanning drops from the same series. You can see on my hands that the color has absorbed quite a bit. It looked nicer and not as intense when I used a slightly richer cream underneath!
