Nice surprise!
A robust and masculine men's fragrance Le Male Elixir Eau de Parfum 125 ml from Jean Paul Gaultier, with literally a well-trained, male body shape on the bottle made of gold-colored metal with black edges in the middle. The packaging is somewhat impractical due to its size and shape, but has a very direct and powerful spray function that makes up for it. Unfortunately, it lacks a cap for the spray. It doesn't leak, but it might be worth keeping in mind if you're going to fly, as we know how luggage is often treated :) However, it comes with a cool, matching canister-like container, which can potentially be used as an alternative storage space for the perfume. Upon first skin contact, refreshing lavender is primarily noticeable, which then slowly but surely transitions to sweet and warm tones. The background consists of a soft base of wood and amber that becomes increasingly prominent throughout the day. The scent lasts me pretty much a whole workday. If you're very active or need to be alert, you might need to refresh with some spray even after work hours. But overall, a very powerful and long-lasting scent. I really only have positive things to say about this perfume. It smells very pleasant, gives a clear character without being overwhelming in any way. It also fits particularly well for this season autumn/winter and has a very stable longevity. A complete perfume in other words. I had the opportunity to test JPG Le Male Elixir Eau de Parfum, and here comes my review of the perfume. To start with, I must mention that the packaging as well as the perfume itself is really nice and fits perfectly in the bathroom cabinet, the wardrobe, or wherever you store your perfumes. A presentation of a perfume that truly catches the eye. It's worth mentioning that the packaging is also very well thought out as it both stores and protects the perfume since it comes in a tube, perfect if you want to take it with you on a weekend, trip, etc. The other thing is that the perfume has many elements/fragrance notes that I like, including vanilla and honey. When is it best to use the perfume? I would say mainly in the evening and also during social occasions. I have as #lykoinflutester received a perfume from #jeanpaulgaultier. "Le male" is a perfume that suits both everyday and night out. Le male has scent notes from among others tonka bean and lavender. It is both soft and warm but also very intense and sensual. The design of the bottle is typically Jean Paul, a torso, this one in gold with black inserts, really stylish in the bathroom cabinet! 125 ml is a lot of perfume and it doesn't take much to smell good, so it will last a long time. The downside is that the bottle is bulky, really bulky. It is basically a two-handed grip that is needed for me to be able to use it. It is not a classic cork but instead just a push cap with a ring to pull off when using, again, stylish and cheeky, but packing it for travel is not recommended as it leaks! So tape is needed. It comes in a damn stylish tin can and the torso stands on a velvet base. The whole concept screams luxury and yet is minimalist. There are only three notes in: Tonka bean, lavender, and benzoin. Simple but effective. It is always difficult to explain a scent but even though it is warm and soft, it is not too heavy in any way. Perfect for winter events and parties. The longevity is good, it stays on the skin for a long time. Really good perfume
As #lykoinflutester I had the opportunity to test Le Male Elixir Eau de Parfum from #jeanpaulgaultier and it became a favorite. Warm notes of wood, amber, and lavender with a bit of sweetness and a depth of tonka beans. A lovely scent without becoming too sweet or too strong that lasts long. The bottle is nice and fits in the bathroom cabinet or on the shelf, and it is easy to use, the applicator gives an even spray that is easy to dose. For me, the scent fits best in the fall and winter, possibly also in the spring, but in the summer I would probably want a slightly fresher scent. A true luxury scent!
Now I have had the honor of testing this perfume from Jean Paul Gaultier! And here comes my opinion on le male elixir! To start with, I feel that it has A warm and seductive twist from the classic Le Male. As I feel, it opens up with a sweet, caramelized lavender and a hint of mint, which quickly transitions into a creamy mix of honey, tonka bean, and vanilla. When it dries down, it becomes softly amber-like and woody – deep, it becomes really sensual and truly addictive in the end. I would say it fits perfectly for evenings or colder days, as that’s when the notes come through more clearly, I experience. ✨ Longevity: strong 🔥 Feel: warm, sexy, elegant. How long does it last on the skin? -On my skin, it lasts 7 hours 🕖, then it’s completely gone. The first 2 hours, others can smell the scent from 1 meter away. But after about 3 hours, it becomes more of a skin scent. (You have to be close to smell it.) The bottle🧪: I think the bottle for le male elixir retains Jean Paul Gaultier's iconic torso shape, but in a darker and more luxurious design. It has a deep brown-amber gradient that transitions into a warm golden tone towards the middle. The combination gives the bottle a powerful, elegant, and sensual expression. The metal collar around the neck and the clean lines enhance the feeling of exclusivity and high quality, I would say. Looks very nice on the shelf, and even the can it comes in looks very nice! The spray💦: It gives an even fine layer of mist from the bottle, which is good! For some, it has more spray and then it becomes more runny effect, but this one doesn’t have that! The price💰: I think the price is still reasonable, considering how long it lasts on the skin, and it doesn’t need that many sprays. 2 or 3 sprays are enough, so in that way, it will last longer than other perfumes I have tested where you have to spray several times throughout the day. I think it’s worth the money if you want to splurge that much on a perfume, then it’s worth it, I think! I give the bottle’s appearance: 8/10⭐️. Perfume scent: 9/10⭐️. Longevity: 8/10⭐️. So overall, I give it 9/10⭐️. Positive ✅: Smells good, lasts almost all day. Negative ❌: The price, a little. I think around 990kr would have been good. But as I said, you get what you pay for! So yes, I recommend this perfume!✅ Even for its high price! Wow, what a scent! It smells warm, fresh, and luxurious at the same time with a good balance between sweetness and spiciness.
