A simple manicure with this Essie nail polish that I love the color of and that dries quickly, I used a top coat from Dior. I really enjoy doing my nails at home; it's a relaxing time for me. My best investment is definitely the Depend Gel IQ Start kit. I've had it for a couple of years now and I do my own manicure and pedicure. I love that it lasts me a month and fresh nails have never been easier. It has saved me so so much money when I used to always get my nails done at the salon. A French mani-pedi is a must! 💅 Simple New Year's Nails 💅
It's been a while since I did a nail look, but I felt it was time. A little tip for simple and discreet yet still festive nails for New Year's. Important not to skimp on the base work. I've done the following: 💅 Thorough cleaning with Depend 7days cleanser. 💅 Base coat from the same series. 💅 Two layers of "Spagetti strap" from Essie. 💅 White tips with the help of "Pure White" from Depend 7days. (This step can be skipped, I mostly thought it would give a deeper effect) 💅 Then you dab on a glitter polish, I chose silver glitter from Essie, no. 278. 💅 Then top it off with a top coat, I use Depend 7days from Depend. Once you get the technique of not getting too close to the edges around the nail, the result is really pretty. The durability for me varies on the nails, on some nails it has lasted up to 3 weeks while on others only 3 days. Hence the rating. I have soft/brittle nails that easily break and it's hard to get some length. Today the palette from Revolution that I bought the other day arrived, I must say it feels promising, I've already swatched but haven't tested it on my eyes.
