This time as a lykoinfluencer, I received the Max Factor 2000 Calorie, Long Lash Era Mascara to test. I just have to say wow! What a great mascara! ✨️ Nice brush with good bend that makes it easy to apply. No mess or other hassle. Thanks to the brush's fine "bristles", the lashes are well separated. 🫧 Dries very quickly. Can be both pros and cons. Pro if you're on the go and want nice lashes with minimal effort. Con if you want to spend a little extra time for optimal length and volume. ✨️ Gives fantastic results! Long beautiful lashes that last all day. The only thing I sometimes miss is the volume, but then the solution is to complement with a volumizing mascara as a base, so you get both volume and length. 🫧 Doesn't flake at all, the lashes are just as beautiful after a whole day as they were at application. Stays like a charm! ✨️ Easily comes off with just warm water. Just soak the eyes and you can pull off the mascara (see picture of how easily it comes off with fingers). Feels gentle on the eyes. I have to say that this is the absolute best hand cream I have ever tried! Very easy to work into the hands and leaves no unnecessary mess. Just like the rest of the 62 series, it smells absolutely magical! You can never get enough of that sweet salted caramel scent. Good size of the tube, so it's practical to take on the go. Small opening that allows you to get just the right amount of product out. I often have dry hands, especially now in winter. I've tried many different hand creams and this one is hard to beat. I love that you don't need much product, so the tube lasts a long time. In the pictures, you can see before and after 1 week of use. I've applied it to my hands in the evening just before bedtime. I have been trying The Ritual of Sakura Trial Set for a few weeks now. I just love, love, love this brand! I have been familiar with the brand for a while and have never been disappointed. Not now either! ❤️ This set is absolutely perfect to take on trips. I travel a lot, so products that meet the criteria for carry-on volume are greatly appreciated. I have quite sensitive skin that is dry more or less all year round. I can say this set has worked wonders for my skin! Extremely moisturizing and feels like a dream. The scent is divine! You just want to enjoy the sweet scent of cherry blossom for ages 🌸 Even though they are in travel size, they last longer than you think. I find them to be quite economical, so they will last for many weekends to come ✈️ 🫧 Shower foam: A real dream to feel the fluffy and rich foam against the skin. Cleans without drying out the skin, rather the opposite. The skin becomes soft and almost feels like being at a spa when using it. 🫧 Body scrub: Fantastic sugar scrub that melts upon application on wet skin. The skin feels soft and properly moisturized thanks to its enriched oils. Tip! I always use a scrub before shaving to exfoliate dead skin cells for a closer shave. I feel like I've had fewer razor bumps after using this scrub. 🫧 Body lotion: Creamy and rich lotion that absorbs evenly and nicely on the body. Just a small dollop is enough for the whole body. I have had the honor of testing and reviewing this fantastic All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray as a Lykoinfluencer. This setting spray is the best I have ever tried! Easy to apply, and out comes a wide but fine mist. It lays down easily and evenly over the face. You can barely feel it as it is so thin. It also does its job of keeping the makeup in place all day. I use 2 sprays for everyday makeup and 4 sprays for more festive looks. ✨️ Super cute bottle. Easy to press out product and is incredibly light. 🫧 Lays down thin and nicely over the makeup. Not sticky/tacky. ✨️ Lasts all day! I walked home in the rain one day after work, and my makeup looked just as good as in the morning. 🫧 No overpowering scent, but has a light scent that dissipates after application. I find that other setting sprays I have tried either smell extremely strong or chemical. But not this one. The first picture shows my makeup in the morning, and the last picture shows after a full day of work 🫧 I really have nothing negative to comment. Disappointment
This time as #lykoinflutester got to test and review Clean Queen Micellar Water 500ml Was really excited to try it as soon as I got the product home. Contains good ingredients like Nordic sugar beet, glycerin, and amino acids, which felt promising. I have quite sensitive skin, especially around the eyes, so I am very careful to use products that are gentle and fragrance-free. Unfortunately, it was a flop this time. Below are the reasons: 🫧 Removes makeup and impurities well. Didn’t need to rub much, just glided off easily in one sweep. However, I thought it felt sticky, left a weird film afterwards. ✨️ Read from others that it should be fragrance-free, but as far as I can see, it is dermatologically tested. I see nothing on either the bottle or the website about being fragrance-free. But regardless, it smells extremely strong! 🤔 According to the description, you can apply it to face, eyes, and lips. However, I wouldn’t recommend that, considering the scent. And with the below in mind, I didn’t want to try applying it to my lips. 🫧 And not only that. Stings a lot in the eye area. Ouch, it hurts! So had to rinse it off immediately. After that, I’ve only used it on the rest of my face, which it works better on. The only positive I can think of is the price in relation to the volume and how easily it removes makeup, etc., but unfortunately, that doesn’t outweigh the rest of the experience. I can’t see that anyone else has had a similar experience as me, maybe something wrong with just my bottle? 🤔 Really smells strong as soon as you open it. Cleaning in one swipe!
This time as #lykoinflutester I got to test and review Wiped Out Eye Makeup Remover 100ml. I have quite sensitive skin, especially around the eyes, so I like that this remover is fragrance-free. No irritation, no mess, and it easily removes both dirt/impurities and makeup. For best results, I recommend letting the cotton pad sit for a while against the eye to loosen the mascara. But as seen in the video, it works fine to just do a few light swipes 🤗 🫧 Nice and handy bottle. Easy to get the product out on the cotton pad. No spills and unnecessary mess. ✨️ Fragrance-free, which means it doesn't cause any irritation. 🫧 Easily removes makeup and other impurities. Just a few swipes were enough for it to disappear. Didn't need to rub like I can experience with other types of removers, just gently stroking/circling the pad was enough. ✨️ Quite oily, which I found gave a slightly greasy feeling. It's good that it moisturizes, but it was a bit too much for my taste. That's probably the only negative I can mention. I definitely think it's a very good and affordable product! Exfoliating ✨️
I have had the honor of testing and reviewing the Tanrevel Exfoliating Scrub 200 ml, which I have now used for about 3 weeks. I regularly use body scrub (about 1 time/week) as my skin is very dry and atopic. Usually, I am not a regular tanner. But of course, you can use this scrub even if you don't use self-tanner. Below is my experience with the product: ✨️ First of all, I think the tube is sleek and practical. Good size for both the tube and the cap, which makes it easy to use. No mess and unnecessary waste. 🫧 The scent is magical! Smells citrusy, which makes you think of summer right away. In my opinion, it smells just right. ✨️ Large sugar grains that scrub well on the body. I haven't dared to try it on my face due to the large grains. I prefer milder scrubs with small grains for that area. But on the rest of the body, it works fine. Exfoliates well and removes residues of self-tanner. 🫧 Since it contains both sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil, I find my skin to be well moisturized. The skin feels smooth and soft after use. Not always have I needed body lotion afterward, which I usually always use after the shower. ✨️ The only downside I can see is that it takes quite a bit of product for a full-body scrubbing. Good price for the product itself, but it gets expensive in the long run considering how quickly a tube is used up. I have tested the product on both dry and damp skin. When applied dry, it scrubs more and you feel the full effect of the exfoliation. It creates a little lather when rinsing with water and circular motions. It is only then that the sugar dissolves. When used on damp skin, the product dissolves faster and you get a gentler and softer exfoliation. Then I can't say for sure that this scrub makes self-tanner last better than using other types/brands.
