I have been trying The Ritual of Sakura Trial Set for a few weeks now. I just love, love, love this brand! I have been familiar with the brand for a while and have never been disappointed. Not now either! ❤️ This set is absolutely perfect to take on trips. I travel a lot, so products that meet the criteria for carry-on volume are greatly appreciated. I have quite sensitive skin that is dry more or less all year round. I can say this set has worked wonders for my skin! Extremely moisturizing and feels like a dream. The scent is divine! You just want to enjoy the sweet scent of cherry blossom for ages 🌸 Even though they are in travel size, they last longer than you think. I find them to be quite economical, so they will last for many weekends to come ✈️ 🫧 Shower foam: A real dream to feel the fluffy and rich foam against the skin. Cleans without drying out the skin, rather the opposite. The skin becomes soft and almost feels like being at a spa when using it. 🫧 Body scrub: Fantastic sugar scrub that melts upon application on wet skin. The skin feels soft and properly moisturized thanks to its enriched oils. Tip! I always use a scrub before shaving to exfoliate dead skin cells for a closer shave. I feel like I've had fewer razor bumps after using this scrub. 🫧 Body lotion: Creamy and rich lotion that absorbs evenly and nicely on the body. Just a small dollop is enough for the whole body. I have had the honor of testing and reviewing this fantastic All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray as a Lykoinfluencer. This setting spray is the best I have ever tried! Easy to apply, and out comes a wide but fine mist. It lays down easily and evenly over the face. You can barely feel it as it is so thin. It also does its job of keeping the makeup in place all day. I use 2 sprays for everyday makeup and 4 sprays for more festive looks. ✨️ Super cute bottle. Easy to press out product and is incredibly light. 🫧 Lays down thin and nicely over the makeup. Not sticky/tacky. ✨️ Lasts all day! I walked home in the rain one day after work, and my makeup looked just as good as in the morning. 🫧 No overpowering scent, but has a light scent that dissipates after application. I find that other setting sprays I have tried either smell extremely strong or chemical. But not this one. The first picture shows my makeup in the morning, and the last picture shows after a full day of work 🫧 I really have nothing negative to comment. Disappointment
This time as #lykoinflutester got to test and review Clean Queen Micellar Water 500ml Was really excited to try it as soon as I got the product home. Contains good ingredients like Nordic sugar beet, glycerin, and amino acids, which felt promising. I have quite sensitive skin, especially around the eyes, so I am very careful to use products that are gentle and fragrance-free. Unfortunately, it was a flop this time. Below are the reasons: 🫧 Removes makeup and impurities well. Didn’t need to rub much, just glided off easily in one sweep. However, I thought it felt sticky, left a weird film afterwards. ✨️ Read from others that it should be fragrance-free, but as far as I can see, it is dermatologically tested. I see nothing on either the bottle or the website about being fragrance-free. But regardless, it smells extremely strong! 🤔 According to the description, you can apply it to face, eyes, and lips. However, I wouldn’t recommend that, considering the scent. And with the below in mind, I didn’t want to try applying it to my lips. 🫧 And not only that. Stings a lot in the eye area. Ouch, it hurts! So had to rinse it off immediately. After that, I’ve only used it on the rest of my face, which it works better on. The only positive I can think of is the price in relation to the volume and how easily it removes makeup, etc., but unfortunately, that doesn’t outweigh the rest of the experience. I can’t see that anyone else has had a similar experience as me, maybe something wrong with just my bottle? 🤔 Really smells strong as soon as you open it. Cleaning in one swipe!
This time as #lykoinflutester I got to test and review Wiped Out Eye Makeup Remover 100ml. I have quite sensitive skin, especially around the eyes, so I like that this remover is fragrance-free. No irritation, no mess, and it easily removes both dirt/impurities and makeup. For best results, I recommend letting the cotton pad sit for a while against the eye to loosen the mascara. But as seen in the video, it works fine to just do a few light swipes 🤗 🫧 Nice and handy bottle. Easy to get the product out on the cotton pad. No spills and unnecessary mess. ✨️ Fragrance-free, which means it doesn't cause any irritation. 🫧 Easily removes makeup and other impurities. Just a few swipes were enough for it to disappear. Didn't need to rub like I can experience with other types of removers, just gently stroking/circling the pad was enough. ✨️ Quite oily, which I found gave a slightly greasy feeling. It's good that it moisturizes, but it was a bit too much for my taste. That's probably the only negative I can mention. I definitely think it's a very good and affordable product! Exfoliating ✨️
I have had the honor of testing and reviewing the Tanrevel Exfoliating Scrub 200 ml, which I have now used for about 3 weeks. I regularly use body scrub (about 1 time/week) as my skin is very dry and atopic. Usually, I am not a regular tanner. But of course, you can use this scrub even if you don't use self-tanner. Below is my experience with the product: ✨️ First of all, I think the tube is sleek and practical. Good size for both the tube and the cap, which makes it easy to use. No mess and unnecessary waste. 🫧 The scent is magical! Smells citrusy, which makes you think of summer right away. In my opinion, it smells just right. ✨️ Large sugar grains that scrub well on the body. I haven't dared to try it on my face due to the large grains. I prefer milder scrubs with small grains for that area. But on the rest of the body, it works fine. Exfoliates well and removes residues of self-tanner. 🫧 Since it contains both sweet almond oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil, I find my skin to be well moisturized. The skin feels smooth and soft after use. Not always have I needed body lotion afterward, which I usually always use after the shower. ✨️ The only downside I can see is that it takes quite a bit of product for a full-body scrubbing. Good price for the product itself, but it gets expensive in the long run considering how quickly a tube is used up. I have tested the product on both dry and damp skin. When applied dry, it scrubs more and you feel the full effect of the exfoliation. It creates a little lather when rinsing with water and circular motions. It is only then that the sugar dissolves. When used on damp skin, the product dissolves faster and you get a gentler and softer exfoliation. Then I can't say for sure that this scrub makes self-tanner last better than using other types/brands. As an influencer, I have received products from NCLA Beauty to test this time. Overall, I think it’s a fun, youthful, and good series. Below is a review of their Hey, Sugar -Strawberry Lemonade Body Scrub. ✨️ Practical jar with plenty of scrub. The jar itself feels quite youthful and sweet. 🩷 The scrub is very soft and fluffy in texture. You have to be a little careful when I take the product out of the jar as it can easily get slippery, especially when your hands are wet. ✨️ I have tested the scrub on both dry and damp skin. I like both parts, and both work. If you want it to have full effect during exfoliation, I recommend using the scrub on dry skin and then rinsing off. Personally, I like it best on damp skin as it massages nicely on the skin and you can feel right away that it hydrates. Feels really luxurious. 🩷 According to the instructions, it says to let the scrub sit for 1-2 minutes. But already right upon application, you feel a smooth and nice sensation on the body. ✨️ As for the scent, it’s simply magical! Smells like sweet strawberry candy. I just want to smell it in the jar all the time. 🩷 You can immediately feel that it contains sugar, as it melts slowly with the circular movements. Leaves a very nice feeling on the body. I often use scrubs as I love the super smooth feeling on my body after use. And I must say that this is one of the best I have tested! Absolutely fantastic product. Below is a review of their Sugar Sugar -Strawberry Lemonade Lip Scrub ✨️ Sweet little jar that the product comes in. However, I haven’t used the accompanying massage heart that much. I found it got clumpy during application and the scrub ended up in more places than just on the lips. Maybe it’s just me being inexperienced and having the wrong technique? But I thought it was easier to apply and use circular motions with my fingers. 🩷 I have used the scrub according to the instructions. On clean, dry lips. You can immediately feel that it contains sugar, as it melts slowly with the circular motions. Leaves a very nice feeling on the lips. I also like that you don’t need much product, a small dab goes a long way and well. ✨️ As for the scent, it’s simply magical! Smells like sweet strawberry candy. I just want to smell it in the jar all the time. 🩷 Afterwards, the lips feel incredibly exfoliated and moisturized. You can feel both the cocoa butter and shea butter. I like that the moisture lasts afterwards. ✨️ I like that it’s vegan and contains ingredients that are nourishing for the body. Cocoa butter, shea butter, and agave nectar, vitamins C and E. There’s nothing negative to say about this product. Below is the review of their Balm Babe - Strawberry Lemonade Lip Balm: ✨️ Cute little jar that the product comes in. However, I’m not a huge fan of lip balms in this form. I prefer twist-up or tube. Using fingers feels neither hygienic nor practical. 🩷 As for the scent, it’s absolutely magical! Smells like sweet strawberry candy. I just want to smell it in the jar all the time. This makes it taste fantastic on the lips. ✨️ Upon application, the lip balm feels incredibly nice on the lips. It has a very creamy consistency, almost like butter. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last very long, already after 30 minutes it feels completely gone and a new application is needed. Feels like a product that works best if you apply a thicker layer before bed. Considering the product’s design and longevity, it unfortunately only gets 3/5 ✨️. Therefore, there are other lip balms I prefer. Great hair oil!
Last assignment as #lykoinflutester for this year and this time I got to try products from L'Oréal Professionnel, Metal DX Serie Expert. I had some mixed thoughts at first since I had tried another line from the same brand that unfortunately wasn't a hit. But here it was jackpot! 😍 This line suited my hair perfectly. My hair is classically Scandinavian. Thin hair strands that easily become dry in the lengths. I have long bleached lengths that occasionally get toned with cool shades. I can easily feel that my hair quickly loses shine and feels lifeless. Next up for review is Metal DX Serie Expert Professional Concentrated Oil 50 ml. ✨ The first thing that appeals to me is the bottle. It feels sleek and pretty. Looks really nice on the bathroom shelf. Small and cute glass bottle with a simple pump. 🤧 I have tried the oil in both wet and dry hair. Personally, I think it works better in wet. Easy to apply and the lengths gratefully accept the nourishing oil. However, I don't get the same feeling in dry hair. I think the product feels straggly when applying. Hard to distribute. I feel that the hair reaches its full potential more in wet hair than afterwards. ✨ I've seen that many are bothered by the scent. But not me. I think it's a wonderful scent! Smells citrusy which I find really fresh and clean. 🤧 The result is fantastic. The hair feels soft and supple. No frizz or lifeless lengths. Gives outstanding shine. ✨ Enough that the product is economical, I've only needed 1 pump for my long hair. But the price is a bit too steep. Personally, I love multifunctional products. Just that I don't like the product in dry hair and because of the price, the oil unfortunately doesn't get full points.
