A lovely hydration
I have tried this product for a few days now and like it more than I thought I would. 💫 The texture is milky and feels lovely on the skin, and it has no strong scent which is a big plus. It absorbs quickly and gives a nice, natural glow. I find that the skin feels hydrated immediately, but since I have quite dry skin, I need to apply a richer day cream on top to get enough moisture, especially during colder days. Nice exterior but worse interior
I have been trying this cleansing balm for a while now and unfortunately, I have to say that I am disappointed. It removes makeup quite okay, but I feel that it leaves a strange tight film on the skin afterwards. My skin doesn’t feel moisturized but rather a bit trapped and dry, which doesn’t work for me as I have dry and sensitive skin. 😕 The packaging is very nice and sleek but also very cumbersome. With wet hands, it’s almost impossible to twist out the product, which makes it impractical to use. I have tried several other cleansing balms before that I really liked, so my expectations for this one were quite high – but unfortunately, it doesn’t live up to them. Glitter and Life for the Lips
The color is a super pretty pink shade with shimmer and glitter that gives a lot of life to the lips without feeling too much. 💞 The texture is creamy and very nice to wear – it glides on easily and feels moisturizing for a long time. Missing the shine
I have now tested Björn Axén Volumizing Balm for a few weeks and this is my honest review. I have Scandinavian, fine hair that gets highlighted regularly at the salon. It easily becomes dry in the lengths and tangles quickly, so I am quite picky when it comes to balm. I need something that really moisturizes, detangles properly, and leaves the hair soft - and there I unfortunately feel that this balm doesn't quite make the cut. 🫧 The consistency is light and feels fresh in the hair, and it doesn't weigh it down - which is definitely a plus if you want more volume. But that deep softness and smooth feeling that I want after the shower is a bit lacking for me. I also don't get that really super shiny, silky finish that some more nourishing balms can provide right away. 🫧 The scent is wonderful and the product feels luxurious, but on my hair, I need to supplement with either a mask or a leave-in to get enough moisture and shine. For those of you who prioritize volume, a light product without too much shine is definitely worth trying. Light and Fresh
I have had the honor of testing Björn Axén Volume Shampoo for a few weeks now, and oh my god, what a great shampoo!! I have never tried any shampoo from Björn Axén before, but I have tried many volume shampoos over the years, and the volume shampoo from Björn Axén is actually one of the best I have used. I have typically Scandinavian hair that is colored and regularly highlighted at the hairdresser, and also a hair type that easily gets oily at the roots. 💞🤩 This shampoo gives a really good feeling right after washing! My hair feels light, airy, and gets noticeable volume without becoming coarse. What I appreciate the most is that my hair stays fresh significantly longer than with many other shampoos I have tried. It doesn't get oily as quickly, and I don't need to wash it as often. Good Hold
I have now tested the Björn Axén Volume Blow Dry Cream. I have used this product on towel-dried hair along with their Thickening Spray from the same line - then I blow-dried it dry. I feel that my Scandinavian fine hair gets a nice hold and gives the hair a good texture, and when I style my hair, I feel that it lasts longer. ✨ The scent is a very strong unisex scent, but that's not negative in my opinion. Nice natural volume
I have now tested the Björn Axén Thickening Spray from their volume series! This is the first time I’m using something from Björn Axén, and wow!! I’ve fallen in love with their brand now! 🤩✨ I use their Thickening Spray after every shower on towel-dried hair and spray it evenly throughout the entire hair root, then I blow-dry my hair. The spray distributes evenly in the hair and is easy to use. ✨ I have fine, Scandinavian hair that often becomes flat and lifeless, but with this product, I get a really nice, natural volume. ✨ It gives a lovely texture to the hair, which I love! It smells super good and provides a natural, nice volume without feeling heavy or sticky. A mild glow
I use L’Oréal Paris Lumi Glotion by mixing it into my foundation. It blends easily and evenly, giving a nice and natural glow that makes the skin look fresh. The formula feels moisturizing and pleasant on the skin. ✨ However, the result is quite light, so for me it gives a nice sheen but nothing that makes a bigger difference. An old favorite
I have had the Sky High Mascara as a big favorite for several years and I still really like it. It gives fantastic length, separates the lashes nicely, and gives a fresh and open impression without clumping. Perfect for both everyday use and when you want a natural but defined look. 🫶🏼 Every time I use Sky High, I am reminded of why it has been a favorite for so long, it really delivers with its length and durability. The only small downside is that it doesn't give much volume on its own, but that is outweighed by the nice separation.
