So much scent that overwhelms
My first impression was positive. Nice packaging and the scent felt good at first. I am one of those who doesn't want so much scent in my body care products. And these smelled too much for me. I shower in the evening and I struggled to sleep because there was so much scent left on my skin. The set contains a shower gel, body scrub, and a body cream. The Ritual of Sakura Foaming Shower Gel 50ml: I find it hard to gauge the amount since you have to press quite hard to get the product out. You get a lot at once, which is unnecessary since it is very economical in use. It is also not drying, so if you like it to smell a lot, then this is a good purchase. The Ritual of Sakura Body Cream 70ml: Also economical in use. I perceive it as mild on the skin, even though it smells strong. I am picky when it comes to scents, so ignore this if you like the scent of the product and enjoy smelling a lot after a shower. Moisture-wise, this is best suited for normal skin that is not too dry. I did not get itchy from it, which I easily do, especially from perfumed products. It is also an economical product, so you get a lot for your money. The Ritual of Sakura Body Scrub 125g: This one is the least fragrant and leaves the least scent on the skin afterwards. Thumbs up from me for that. The grains are not too coarse, and I think most skin types will tolerate this. It is easy to work in and easy to rinse off. The skin feels soft afterwards. These are good products if you like the scent from before, but if you are sensitive to scents, this series has just as strong and lasting a scent as the other series from Rituals. But as I said, good value for money #lykoinflutester #rituals1 product in post So much scent that overwhelms9 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Not convinced
This product promises to set your makeup and refresh your skin. I can agree that it refreshes the skin, but I don't agree that it sets my makeup. The longevity of my makeup did not noticeably improve with this. Unfortunately, I didn't notice a big difference. I don't use the most full-coverage makeup from before. I use Sensai luminous sheer foundation and the powder from the same brand, and my goal when I do my makeup is a natural look. It's possible that I would have had a better effect if I had used more full-coverage makeup. Where I had the most effect from this is on my eye makeup; my eyeshadow has never held up so well throughout the day before. And I feel fresh when I spray it on. It also helps if I use it during the day as well, but the product promises effect for up to 16 hours, so it shouldn't be necessary. Another thing is that the spray doesn't always come out as a fine mist that distributes evenly over the face. The product sometimes comes out in large drops. It seems like you have to clean the nozzle from time to time. Also something that shouldn't be necessary. I've also gotten quite a few pimples while testing this product. I have an oily skin type, but it's rare for me to have pimples, so I suspect that you can get some breakouts from using this setting spray. That said, the product smells good, and I find that it's a little goes a long way product that will last a long time, even if you, like me, have to refresh throughout the day. #urbandecay #lykoinflutester1 product in post Not convinced38 views - The post was made 2 monthsRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Difficult to calculate amount
I am a bit disappointed with this product. I find it cumbersome to use. It is a powder that you have to mix with water before applying it to your face. What I find disappointing is the amount of product I have to use to feel like I have "treated" my whole face. For me, the feeling of having a product on my skin is just as important as the result. I have used the same type of product from Dermalogica before, so I am not unfamiliar with the concept. I would really like to like this product since I have been a loyal Face Formula user for many years. It mostly just sits on the bathroom shelf now #lykoreview1 product in post Difficult to calculate amount136 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good value for money
- gentle on the skin - good value for money - nice and mild scent - removes makeup well This is a type of product that I would never have found to buy on my own. I experimented a bit by using it before or after my usual cleanser that removes my makeup well. After testing back and forth (for a little week), I prefer to use this as step 1. I feel like there’s a kind of film left on my skin, and for me, it feels right to wash away any residue of the product. That said, the product hasn’t changed anything about my skin condition. I have an oily skin type with few blemishes. I don’t use the heaviest makeup, but this worked its way easily through the foundation (sensai luminous sheer) and the powder (sensai). It doesn’t remove the mascara I use, Clinique lash power, since it requires a temperature over 39 degrees. So this product removes makeup quickly and easily. I don’t like products where I have to use cotton pads, and quite a few as well. I needed 3 pieces each night to feel like the job was done. So many disposable products drive me crazy. It’s clear here that I’m not a fan of products like this. But I think if you use the same product in another brand that costs more, I would switch to this immediately. It delivers what it promises, at a very reasonable price [hashtag] [hashtag] å1 product in post Good value for money82 views - The post was made 3 monthsRating: 3 out of 5Verifierad testare
Good value for money for those who like that sort of thing
I can take the positives first - mild scent, it’s nice and a bit powdery - cute bottle that looks nice in the bathroom - gentle on the skin - effectively removes eyeshadow - lasts a long time That being said, this product is not for me. I use lash power (clinique) and this doesn’t remove it at all, so after removing the mascara with warm water, I can use this product to remove eyeshadow and brow makeup. Then it’s not simple anymore and for me, this product makes my evening routine more of a «prakk». I also reacted in my eyes from this product. Stinging and red eyes were a bonus I don’t need. No matter how careful I was to keep my eyes closed, some product got on my eyes. I’ve never been a big fan of two-phase products for the eyes, so there wasn’t much chance I would like this product. But if you’re one of those who swear by this product group, it’s definitely worth a try. You get good value for your money and a bottle that will last a long time [hashtag] [hashtag]1 product in post Good value for money for those who like that sort of thing116 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
A lot for the money
Bought 0.5 light, and it is a bit darker than it looks in the pictures, but I can definitely use it in the summer. It gives a natural look, but you need much less product than you think. It’s not the easiest to work with. It’s a bit thick and takes some time, but the result is good. It’s not the most long-lasting throughout the day if you sweat and are a bit clammy. Still, it’s not a bad purchase. [hashtag] Can't use this without powder on top1 product in post A lot for the money1186 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
easy to use
Let me take the positive first. It is easy to apply, the result is even and nice. It absorbs quickly into the skin and has not stained my bedding. It does not cause itching, which I often get from such products, and the skin is moisturized. It gets very dark in color, I think there is a yellowish tint to it, and if you are very fair-skinned like me, the result is not so pretty. This is for people who have a somewhat darker skin tone. The smell bothers me. Right when you apply it, the smell can remind you of cat pee. Sweet, a bit gross ammonia smell. The consolation is that the smell disappears quickly. I don't understand why people think this smells good. [hashtag]1 product in post easy to use535 views - The post was made 6 monthsRating: 3 out of 5verified customer
Could be softer
Good price. But I think they are too hard. I feel like they absorb too little of the makeup, it feels like it slides more around on the skin, so they are not the best I have used. Need to work more to get a good result #lykoreview1 product in post Could be softer100 views - The post was made 11 monthsRating: 2 out of 5verified customer
Irritating concept
You have to put your finger in and twist around for the nail polish to disappear. It removes the polish well, but it takes quite a bit of rubbing for that to happen. Maybe I would have liked this better if it wasn't so deep and had such a narrow opening. It smells good though. #lykoreview but tricky to handle1 product in post Irritating concept505 views- The user's roll: Skin therapist at Lyko. Lathers well, smells mild, and is economical to use. I think it cleans well without drying out the skin. I like that this has new packaging with a pump. It helps with how much you use. I have an oily skin type, but few blemishes. #lykoreview1 product in post New favorite3596 views
