    This remover is a product you always come back to.     The Best on the Market

    This is one of the most iconic two-phase removers on the market (oil and water shaken together). It is specifically designed for the sensitive areas around the eyes and lips and is known for removing even the most stubborn makeup. What I like: World-class effectiveness: It dissolves waterproof mascara, heavy eyeshadow, and "long-wear" lipstick almost immediately without needing to rub or pull on the skin. Doesn't sting: It is extremely gentle on the eyes. Even if you wear contact lenses or have sensitive eyes, this usually works without irritating or making the eyes red. Fragrance-free: Like all Clinique products, it is 100% fragrance-free, reducing the risk of allergic reactions. Leaves no sticky residue: Despite containing oil, it doesn't feel unpleasantly sticky afterward. What is less good: The price: It is an expensive product just to be an eye makeup remover. There are budget alternatives at the pharmacy that do a similar job, although they rarely feel as luxurious or mild. The packaging: The bottle has a child-safe cap (you have to press down and twist), which some find inconvenient in the bathroom. The opening is also quite large, so it's easy to accidentally pour too much onto the cotton pad. Oily feeling: Although it doesn't leave a residue, it feels oily upon application. If you prefer completely water-based products, you won't like the feeling. Conclusion: This is the "gold standard" if you use a lot of waterproof mascara and want to remove it quickly without irritating your eyes. It is worth the money if you have sensitive skin, but if you only wear light makeup, you can probably find something cheaper that does the job.

    Good product, horrible container and cap

    Product is fine, nothing special, does what it should. But the container is horrible. The cap is impossible to unscrew and I really don't feel like spending 15 minutes each night trying to open this... (yes I understand you need to push down and then turn to open but it's incredibly difficult to actually get it to "grip" and screw open even when pushing down, most of the time it's just turning and clicking even when pushed down)

    Clinique take the day off makeup remover

    LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This one does what it promises, you easily and smoothly remove your makeup! 💋 I have had issues with the skin around my eyes stinging after removing makeup with other products, but since I switched to Clinique take the day off makeup remover, I have never had the same problems again! A makeup remover that quickly removes persistent eye and lip makeup. Perfect also for waterproof mascara. Non-irritating and non-itching. Tested by eye doctors. Also suitable for contact lens wearers.

Use: Shake well before use. Dampen a cotton pad with remover. Cleanse one eye at the time. Apply to the eye area and hold for a few seconds. Wipe off with downward motions. Repeat with a new cotton pad if needed. Use a new cotton pad to remove lipstick. Rinse with cold water.
