- The post was made 2 weeksDoes this work on the scalp when you have tape extensions?I have Rapunzels tape extensions and am looking for a hair oil/serum primarily to use against dry and itchy scalp and simply to take care of the scalp. In the product info it says among other things "Moisturizing and strengthening. Helps against dandruff and frizz" as well as "Helps with split ends and boosts hair growth" so I interpret that it works on the scalp too. But I just want to double-check with you so that it really works with tape extensions, so it doesn't dissolve my bonds☺️ Or do you have tips on another product I can use?1 product in post Does this work on the scalp when you have tape extensions?15 views

The comment was made 2 weeksHi Jenny! 👋 Revitalizing Hair Oil is designed for extensions but is used on the lengths of the hair: a few drops are distributed in towel-dried or dry hair. Application on the scalp is not mentioned, and the texts you quote describe what the individual oils can do, so I can't say that it is intended for the scalp. There is no information about tape-in extensions, and Rapunzel recommends avoiding getting conditioner on the bonds, so please keep the oil away from them as well. For a dry and itchy scalp with tape extensions, Rapunzel of Sweden's Shampoo can be an option. It is specially formulated for extensions, has a soothing effect on the scalp, and is gentle on the bonds. Massage gently close to the scalp and make sure to get between the bonds 🤍1 likes
