Have used this for about 10 years 🥰
I have been using k-beauty long before it was available to buy in the US (used to import it directly from Korea over the internet), and this is truly a classic! (I have saved and used the previous jars with screw lids to store pearls and such after I used all the pads, and I have about 8 jars even though I haven't even kept them all🤭) This is a lifesaver even on the nights when you can't be bothered to do any skincare routine at all - cleanses the skin/pores with effective ingredients that ensure you don't get pimples or blemishes from leftover dirt/oil from the day, but is also moisturizing enough so that your skin doesn't feel tight afterwards. It really is enough with this - one step! The product has had many different looks on jars over the years (different colors and design styles, long with screw lids), but I really like the latest version of the jar with snap lid and space for the accompanying tweezers to take the pads with! Feels very fresh and hygienic to be able to take the pads without touching the ones that are left in the jar, and easy to just take one at a time 😊1 product in post Have used this for about 10 years 🥰9 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 1 out of 5
Spoils quickly after opening
The first time I tried this was several years ago, and it was very nice, and I used it every night, but I only managed to use about 1/5 of the cream before it spoiled and smelled so bad that I threw it away 😥 This was long before the expiration date. In the years since, I've seen a lot of recommendations from people who love this, so I thought maybe I just got a bad batch 😱 - and since I actually liked it as long as it was usable, I gave it another chance! But even this time, the cream went bad and spoiled quickly after I opened it - I used it every night but only managed to use maybe 1/4 of the contents this time before it started to smell really bad. I have a ton of different skincare products and have been using stuff from COSRX for over 12 years (used to import it over the internet from Korea before K-beauty was available in the US 😅), and this has never happened to me with any other cream, either from them or from other brands! I recommend buying other creams from COSRX instead - they have many really good ones. I'm currently using the cica cream in a tube and have it as the last step at night, and it's amazing 🥰1 product in post Spoils quickly after opening4 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 2 out of 5
Almost only things with the Sakura scent
I would like to have a mix of products in it, but this calendar contains overwhelmingly many products from the white-pink scent series Ritual Of Sakura. If you like the Sakura series, then this is probably great - but sad for everyone else who buys this calendar to try a mix of products from Rituals' different scent series (I like the yellow series Rituals Of Mehr the most, but it doesn't seem to be a favorite among those who make Rituals calendars 😅). Still giving two stars, though, because it has an incredibly beautiful and unique design on the calendar, and very nice products for those who like the Sakura scent. For everyone else, however, it is a very big let-down, especially at that price.1 product in post Almost only things with the Sakura scent1005 views - The post was made 1 week
Do you sell the old or new version?
This product got a new formula a few years ago, and the new formula contains coconut oil which gives me cystic acne. In the ingredient list here in the Lyko app, I see the ingredients for the _older_ version, i.e. _without_ coconut oil, which I would like to buy. Are you really selling the older version, or are you selling the new one and just missed updating the ingredient list here in the app? Thanks in advance!1 product in post Do you sell the old or new version?314 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. Can you wear face sunscreen under this?
How does it work to have other products (face sunscreen) underneath this? (I know this has some SPF in it, but I have very sun-sensitive skin and always need sunscreen on my face) I usually always have sunscreen on my face (either Eucerin Oil Control Sun Gel Cream 50spf or Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun Rice Probiotics 50spf), and I wonder if this can be layered on top? Or will it end up sliding around / settling into creases / pilling, or will everything roll up into small beads/balls (i.e. “pilling”) when you put this on top?1 product in post Can you wear face sunscreen under this?253 views- The user's roll: Farmaceut på Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHey Jozey😊 Thanks for your question✨ Yes, you can absolutely apply this foundation over sunscreen – e.g. Eucerin or Beauty of Joseon – but make sure the sunscreen has completely dried before you apply the base. Feel free to wait a few minutes, otherwise the products can clash and cause it to slide or "roll" (pilling). Thin layers and letting each step sink in usually yield the best results! It's also good to keep in mind that the products should ideally have the same type of base, for example, both water-based or both silicone-based, so they can work together smoothly. If the bases differ too much, there is an increased risk that it won't adhere as it should or that small beads form on the skin. Since the foundation has a water + silicone base and your sunscreens (Eucerin Oil Control and Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun) also contain water + silicone / ester / emollients, there are good chances that they can work together relatively smoothly. Their bases are not completely incompatible, which reduces the risk of the products cutting into each other or rolling. So with the right combination and a little patience between the steps, it usually works really well!🤞🏻 Wishing you a super nice day🌞🍂1 likes

Does it work to put this on top of sunscreen?

The comment was made 1 monthHey Jozey😊 Yes — they seem to have compatible bases (water + silicone). This makes the risk of the products "melting together" or not cooperating lower than if one product was completely oil-based and the other silicone-based. But to achieve the smoothest combination possible, you should: -Let the sunscreen dry completely before applying foundation. -Use thin layers. Make sure each step "sets" before the next layer. Hope the answer can be helpful✨1 likes

The comment was made 1 monthHey again Jozey😊 Since this foundation also uses silicone and water as part of its formula, there’s a good chance it can "mix well" with your mentioned sunscreens (Eucerin Oil Control Sun Gel Cream and Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun), as they also contain water + silicone/ester-like ingredients. Feel free to check out my previous responses to your other comments ✨

Holy grail - have used this for 12 years
For many years, I imported this essence directly from South Korea, because it is the best there is - without ever causing pimples, irritating, or feeling sticky afterwards. My skin was always extremely problematic before I started using this (extremely dry and very pimply and easily irritated and rosacea-red and tight and painful), and I really remember what a miracle it felt like when I started using this for the first time - for the first time in my life, my skin stopped screaming. I didn't even know that I had been in constant pain in my skin for basically my whole life, before I started using this and the pain suddenly disappeared. It really calms all irritation, and can be used even if you have active pimples on your face - they don't get worse at all, but rather it's like the rest of the skin gets a boost. So I really hope this never stops being made. Holy grail. So nice to be able to buy it in the US (and at a reasonable price!) instead of having to import it myself. There is simply a very good reason why I easily give this 5 out of 5 stars - I already knew in 2013 that this was a miracle in a bottle for us with problematic skin, and I have used it pretty much every day for the last 12 years. If I had saved all the empty bottles I’ve gone through by now, I would probably have 30-40 of them, and that says it all 😉 (I hope Lyko starts selling CosRX’s galactomyces tone-balancing essence too - it’s amazing for making those horrible dark purple scars from cystic acne disappear completely, as if they never existed to begin with! All the stubborn marks from pimples that linger heal faster, and the skin becomes smooth and nice. Lyko, make sure to get it! 🥰)1 product in post Holy grail - have used this for 12 years2005 views - The post was made 4 monthsRating: 5 out of 5
Super good as the last step in night skincare routine
+ The packaging may not look so motivating, but the cream inside is incredible when it comes to moisturizing and calming, could easily be sold in a fifth of such large jars for the same price or more! + I checked the ingredients before I bought (they are well-selected ingredients that do not cause pimples (i.e. non-comedogenic) or irritate), and now that I have almost finished the whole jar, I can say that it is completely true! 😃 + If you have skincare in several steps (cleansing, toner, serum, essence, etc.), this one works super well as the last step in the evening, because it "capsules in" the moisture that the other products contribute and keeps it in the skin (i.e. the cream is not just a moisturizer/moisturizing but also an occlusive/moisture encapsulator) 😊 - The fact that it encapsulates moisture so effectively also makes the skin look a bit shiny afterwards, because the cream does not "disappear" into the skin as it is made to prevent the skin surface from drying out. So for me, it is more of an evening cream than a morning cream, because I like a matte finish during the day. (But, I always have another face cream with sunscreen during the day, so it comes naturally that I only use this in the evening 😉)1 product in post Super good as the last step in night skincare routine166 views
