I have very short lashes and get zero effect from the mascara. It only colors the lashes but doesn't build any length or volume. Feels like it just slides around. Washes off easily. The difference in how a brown mascara is perceived often depends on how the pigments are composed – many brown shades are relatively deep and can therefore look almost black, especially on dark or short lashes where the contrast is small 💗 For short lashes, it can be a bit tricky to get both length and volume with a lighter formula. A little tip that might help is to build up the mascara in several thin layers and focus on working the product in from the root upwards in a light zigzag motion 🤗 Fingers crossed that it works better.
