Used this a couple of times in the fall and my hair still has RED color in it. I tried using clarifying shampoo and baking soda, and it didn't come out then either. It's not good that they recommend it as a mask when there are such strong color elements in it that don't go away after many, many washes. Used the darkest brown color.

Hey Nora 💌
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We're sorry to hear that you got a result you're not happy with 😔
The Color Depositing Mask is a color-giving hair treatment, and even though it's referred to as a mask, it contains direct pigments that can set well in the hair – especially in lighter, porous, or treated hair. The darker shades, like Cocoa, often have warm/red undertones and can therefore linger longer than expected, even after many washes.
We completely understand your frustration, especially when the product feels more permanent than one would expect from a «mask». This is absolutely valuable feedback, and something we will take forward 💌
To achieve muted warm/red tones, it can sometimes help to use products that contain cool/blue pigments, or a professional color correction at a salon if the color is very well set.
Thanks again for taking the time to let us know – such experiences are important for both us and other customers 🌷
Have a lovely day ahead!
