    Question

How many watts does the lamp have? I already own the lamp and am thinking about buying real gel and wonder if it works to use the same lamp😅

Hi! 👋 I have now received further information from the supplier about the lamp. The Depend Gel iQ UV/LED lamp has a power of 12W and delivers irradiance within the wavelength range of 365–405 nm ✨ However, it is good to know that the wattage itself does not determine how effective the lamp is – the most important thing is the irradiance, that is, how much light actually reaches the nail and cures the product. If you use a lamp that is too weak, there is a risk that only the top layer of the gel product cures, while the material underneath does not cure properly. This in turn can increase the risk of contact allergy if you are unlucky ❤️ The lamp works perfectly together with Gel iQ and Gel Builder, but we cannot guarantee how it works with other brands! All the best! 😍
