    Good

    Is a gel-like formula that I pat in. The skin becomes hydrated and feels plump and smooth for the next step. It has a lot of fragrance in it. The bottle is a heavy glass bottle, which can be a bit negative since it is glass and heavy, easy to slip out of the hands.

    Gave me acne

    After using this for a few days (and no other new products), I had an explosion of pimples on my forehead and chin, I usually don’t have that. I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin. So it didn’t work for me at all, maybe it works better for someone else.

I understand that it can feel frustrating when a product doesn't work at all as hoped, especially when the skin reacts with breakouts 🤍 It's possible that this essence just didn't suit your skin type – fermented ingredients, oils, or essential oils can sometimes irritate sensitive skin. It can sometimes trigger breakouts, even if you usually rarely get them. My best tip is to take a break from the product for a while and let your skin recover. Vegan Active Berry First Essence is a deeply hydrating essence with encapsulated reservatrol and recycled berries for improved elasticity and plumper skin.

(You return grapes after making wine to extract the grape seed oil which has deeply moisturizing properties).

Reservatrol is rich in antioxidants and has an anti-ageing effect and helps with vitality to the skin.

Skin can feel dry and tight after cleansing, with this essence applied directly after washing it counteracts moisture loss and delivers deep hydration and prepares the skin for the next products.

Has a firming effect and boosts skin health with reservatrol capsules from high-quality, French grapes. The grape seed oil assists with deep hydration. The encapsulation technology protects the active ingredients so that they can deliver and assist the skin with its powerful effects.

Also contains Cranbetionol, which are peptides from extracted cranberries that have similar effects on the skin as retinol (Vitamin A) and act to increase skin vitality. Cranberries are rich in vitamin c and salicylic acid. Together, they work for visibly smoother skin by eliminating spots on the skin from e.g. acne scars or hyperpigmentation. In addition, it is an effective ingredient to achieve a lustrous skin.

The essence can be perceived as cloudy or not completely clear, in which case it is because the capsules can break. This is completely normal and does not affect the effect of the product.

Use:
Apply to cleansed face. Spread an appropriate amount evenly over the face and gently massage in for best absorption.
