Use:
Cleaning the cutting head/replacing the side lever and/or its stepless adjustment
Step 1: Loosen the two screws counterclockwise and remove the
cutting blades. Leave the plastic part in place, including the spring.
Step 2: Unscrew the right screw only. This will lock the nut so you
can unscrew the side lever screw without it turning.
Step 3: Remove the side lever screw by unscrewing it counterclockwise
and place it next to the unit.
Step 4: If you want to remove the click system so you can work continuously,
remove the part you see circled. Save this!
Step 5: Replace the side lever and make sure it is back to the
correct tension. Test this by
moving the side lever up and down. This varies from person to person, but make sure it is not too tight
or too loose.
Step 6: Now you can loosen the right screw again counterclockwise.
Step 7: Oil the blades where indicated.
Step 8: Replace the blades by tightening the screws clockwise.
Don't tighten them all the way yet, because you still need to check if the blade is straight and how
short it needs to be adjusted. Adjust the blades to be short and straight, and then tighten the
screws. Make sure the blades stay straight!
