Wow! Was very surprised by this as I have used different types of more 'basic' micellar water before. But this one is so fantastic that I use it in the evening whether I have worn makeup or not. ➕Good price! BIG PLUS ➕Used every evening as a peel ➕Skin feels completely silky soft after application. ➕Skin seems to have more moisture. ➕Less hyperpigmentation. ➕Can be used as a peel every evening ➕Peel is gentle and does not make my skin red or sensitive the next day. ➖Just a small minus and maybe just a personal preference; I don’t like to remove makeup completely with this, purely personal preference, but I don’t think it removes everything and I don’t feel as "clean." I heard it is a new product and I needed some peeling solution in my skin routine. It is gentle, smells like peach (at least what I think it is) and overall feels great. PHA is a mild acid that works similarly to AHA/BHA but with less risk of irritation, making it good for sensitive skin 🩷 It is uncommon for PHA to cause a purging phase ("skin purging") in the same way that stronger acids like AHA/BHA or retinol can. However, if your skin is not used to exfoliation, you may experience slight redness, dryness, or small breakouts at first. This usually goes away within 1-2 weeks. To minimize irritation, you can start using it 2-3 times a week and gradually increase.
