    Less frizz

    I have 2c coarse frizzy hair that looks absolutely amazing after hours of styling. Ain't nobody got time for dat and this product is a lifesaver. I put liberal amounts in towel dried hair, leave it dry naturally and it's still wavy and got a lot of volume, but 90% of the frizz is gone. I've tried a lot of Olaplex products but this is the one I'm repurchasing.

    Heat Protector

    Hi, does this work as a heat protector if I just rub a little into towel-dried hair, since it doesn't really cover ALL the hair? Same with no. 9?

No, Olaplex No.6 is not marketed as a heat protectant. It provides some protection indirectly through moisture and care, but does not contain dedicated ingredients to protect against high heat, like silicone-based thermal shields. ✅ Olaplex No.9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum - Primary function: Anti-pollution serum with antioxidants that also protects the hair. - Heat protection? Yes, this product contains heat protection up to 232°C (450°F). So if you’re going to use heat tools, this is a better choice than No.6 in that context. Tips: Use No.9 first on towel-dried hair for heat protection (evenly distributed). Then you can use No.6 on the lengths to calm frizz and add shine.     UV protection?

    I love this leave-in cream. I've bought it 3 times so far. Sure, it contains silicones, but if you use a detox shampoo once a month, all those silicones will be removed. I recommend it for those of you who have trouble brushing your hair after the shower, and for those who want a bit healthier hair!
