  Have used this a few times now and am not satisfied at all! Really bad. I have curly hair and it doesn’t even get straight. Never had that problem with previous flat irons. Making curls hardly works either since it’s so smooth that the hair just slides away. It also gets very hot so it’s almost impossible to hold at the end of the flat iron. Finally, really annoying that it doesn’t lock in a closed position.

  Can you also make curls with this flat iron? I've read reviews of other flat irons and many find it difficult if the plates don't go all the way to the end. Is this also the case with this one?
