Kenzo never disappoints!
All Kenzo perfumes smell great and last long. Very good quality! I sprayed this on in the morning and the scent was still clearly there the next day! A privilege I've only experienced with Kenzo perfumes. Perfumes from other brands seem to only last a few minutes (and they smell like chemicals), which has never been a problem with Kenzo. I struggled for a long time to find a perfume I liked because all of them stank "overpowering" of chemicals. Gave up for a while, but then I got a sample of Kenzo Flower at the end of my teenage years; a very good perfume that is different from anything else I've tried; a clear and distinct scent that didn't smell like chemicals at all! Kenzo is always just as good, this one is no exception. Kenzo pays tribute to Japan's most emblematic colour, indigo blue, also known as Japanese blue, with its new Eau de Parfum FLOWER INDIGO.
This colour, extracted from the leaves of the indigo shrub, has existed since the dawn of time and was long used to dye clothing and decorative fabrics.
Kenzo fashion has now embraced this natural indigo blue, in particular to dye its Japanese denim.
For this new Eau de Parfum, perfumers Ane Ayo and Florian Gallo captured the essence of Japanese blue using Iris tinted with Indigo Ink. At the heart of this fragrance, the Iris, the blue gold of perfumery, displays its olfactory power through powdery and woody notes. At its base, a unique mineral Accord of Indigo Ink combines with smoky and leathery nuances of Blue Vanilla to create a fragrance of addictive sensuality.
Kenzo’s environmental goals reflect its long-standing commitment to create ""a more beautiful world"". This new Eau de Parfum is made with exceptional raw materials and 90% ingredients of natural origin*.
It comes in an outerpack inspired by kakemono**, and its new glass bottle is adorned with a slender indigo stem.
FLOWER IKEBANA bottles and caps are 100% glass and made entirely in France from 15% recycled glass*** and paper packaging from well-managed FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources.
FLOWER INDIGO is part of the FLOWER IKEBANA collection, a tribute to Kenzo Takada's love of flowers and the art of living.
This collection is composed of three Eaux de Parfum for women, like an Ikebana flower arrangement, blending two aesthetics: floral design and olfactory creation.
