This setting spray is good and serves its purpose for me. I am aware that for my friends who use the same one, they sometimes get worse results because it doesn't last long. I believe it depends more on how you use it and which products you used before. There are many others on the market that are much better. But this one is affordable and lasts a long time. I like to spray a lot of setting spray at the end of my makeup and when it’s dry it almost feels a bit stiff BUT that’s a big plus because you know your makeup won’t move an inch. 💗 A setting spray I always want in my makeup bag!
I’ve really gotten hooked on Maybelline Lasting Fix! This is one of those products that might not seem super exciting at first glance, but you really appreciate it once it’s part of your routine. 😂 I usually use it as the last step after I’ve finished my entire base. I shake the bottle well and spray a few even layers over my face. The mist feels light, and I think it distributes nicely without having to drench my face in product. What I like most is actually how much more “finished” the makeup feels afterward. I think the setting spray helps all the layers of foundation, concealer, powder, and blush to blend more together instead of each product looking like a separate layer. ✨ The finish is quite matte, which I personally like on days when I want the base to look more set and stay fresh longer. I also don’t feel like it’s heavy on the skin after it dries. And the longevity is really the big plus for me. When I’ve spent a bit more time on my makeup, I don’t want everything to start disappearing after a few hours. 😂 This gives me a much more confident feeling when I know I’ll be out for a long time. I also like that it’s so easy to use. No hassle and no complicated technique – just a few sprays after makeup and you’re done. 🤍 The only thing I can imagine some might not love is the matte finish. If you want a really glowy and dewy result, there are other setting sprays I’d choose instead. But when I want more longevity and a matte base, this is definitely one of my favorites. Very good product for you who want your makeup to last and don’t want to pay so much!! I would say it’s not as good as Urban Decay but it really does its job! Good packaging and the product distributes evenly over the face. 💕Unfortunately, it did not become a favorite product for me as I don't notice much difference whether I use it or not.
