    Great for fine hair that easily gets oily

    The mist is a light oil spray that should work especially well for thin and fine hair, which feels perfect for me. The scent is the classic Moroccanoil, a timeless fragrance that feels luxurious. The glass spray bottle is sturdy to hold, and the spray itself is wide and nice. No “stream” but more like a puff, which I particularly like because it makes it easy to distribute in the hair without getting too much product anywhere. The result: On wet hair, I sprayed generously all over (avoiding the roots), and after I blow-dried, I absolutely feel that my hair is less frizzy. It really feels soft and hydrated without feeling oily or heavy. On dry hair, I have mainly used it on the ends with good results. I sprayed a few times before I braided it for the night, and my hair felt soft and lovely in the morning.

    Difference between products?

    How does this product differ from Moroccanoil Body Collection Dry Body Oil and Moroccanoil light (besides the spray bottle)? I understand that this is marketed for hair and the other dry oil for the body, but is there any greater difference between them, like does this contain heat protection or something? 🙂

      Hey there Frida! 👋 Thanks for an interesting question 🤗 Here comes the difference between these three 👇 Morroccanoil Treatment Mist: Light spray with argan oil that provides shine, softness, reduces frizz, and can act as heat protection and preparation for styling 🤍 Moroccanoil Dry Body Oil: An oil that softens and moisturizes the skin, but is not intended for hair ✨ Moroccanoil Light: It is richer than the Mist, provides care and shine, but is used as an oil rather than a spray. It nourishes and hydrates, but is not as light as the Mist for styling 🙏 The contents of the products are therefore tailored for hair and body respectively, and it is not recommended to use them the other way around.     I bought it because I love this brand’s scent, and yes, the oil smells amazing. But it just… does nothing. I have fine hair, so I figured maybe it would work better for me than for someone with thick hair, but even on my hair it’s far too lightweight and basically evaporates whether I use it on wet or dry strands. Considering the price, I’d definitely choose the Kérastase Elixir instead.
