Adults 18 and over: If you smoke more than 10 cigarettes a day, you should start with NiQuitin Clear 21 mg/24 hours, then reduce the dosage according to the following schedule:
Step 1: NiQuitin Clear 21 mg for the first 6 weeks
Step 2: NiQuitin Clear 14 mg for the next 2 weeks
Step 3: NiQuitin Clear 7 mg for the final 2 weeks
Use 1 patch per day on clean, dry skin.

For moderate smokers (smoking fewer than 10 cigarettes a day) or if you've used NiQuitin Clear 21 mg and experience side effects that don't go away within a few days, it's recommended to start with Step 2 (14 mg) for 6 weeks, followed by tapering down with NiQuitin Clear 7 mg for the last 2 weeks.

NiQuitin Clear patches can also be used in combination with NiQuitin compressed lozenges 1.5 mg/2 mg or NiQuitin 2 mg gum. For more information on dosing for combination therapy, please refer to the leaflet.
