NORDBO Omega-3 & Astaxanthin combines fresh, ASC-certified fish oil from Danish trout with high-dose astaxanthin AstaPure®.

The fish oil, produced in Jutland (Denmark), is uniquely fresh - it takes just 4 hours from fish to oil. This oil boasts a natural fatty acid profile with omega-3, 6, 7, 9, and 11, similar to fatty fish.

ASC is a global sustainability certification for farmed fish, ensuring responsible production and good animal welfare. The fish thrive in clean freshwater ponds, and every batch is fully traceable and quality assured. The oil is made from 100% by-products, meaning we utilize the omega-rich parts of the fish that would otherwise go to waste.

AstaPure® is an astaxanthin extract derived from microalgae. This algae is naturally rich in the vibrant antioxidant that has a striking red hue. Astaxanthin is classified as a carotenoid and is the compound that gives salmon its pink color. Since astaxanthin is fat-soluble, it pairs perfectly with fish oil.

Astaxanthin has long been used to support immune function, reduce oxidative stress in cells, and maintain normal vision. Just two capsules a day deliver a whopping 4 mg of astaxanthin.
