  For reference: I use sulfate and silicone-free products, detox fairly regularly anyway, have medium/long curly/kinky hair, light and dark highlights, get regular haircuts, spend a lot of money on quality products. I'm always quick to try new things, especially Olaplex because some of their products are really really good while others are a total miss. Most products in the brand are way too heavy for my natural curls/kinks and the result is just uneven straight/curly hair and it feels like the products don’t penetrate the strands. However, I love No 3 and the silver toning conditioner which really does its best job. Anyway, I was quick to buy this conditioner and I was convinced it would be good. I've now tried it a few times and my hair has become significantly drier and my scalp itches, which it never did before. I suspect they use the same technology as many other curl lines, i.e. trying to moisturize while the curls are supposed to have a crispy dry feeling to hold. My hair feels rough, not fresh, the curls split like never before and become frizzy. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this conditioner at all unless you tend to have oily and heavy hair, maybe then. That it should moisturize curls and make curls hold together better is, in my opinion, false advertising. I have several products to compare with and no, this conditioner does not do the job better, rather significantly worse.
