500 ml1000 mlCoconut oil for both health and skin!
Coconut oil can be made in many ways, and it can be used for many things. It's popular in smart food, cooking and skin care. Whatever you want to use coconut oil for - make sure you have the best!
What is coconut oil?
Take a ripe, organically grown coconut from a coconut palm. Squeeze the white pulp in a large press. Out comes organic coconut oil. The oil melts at 25 degrees Celsius. So if it's hot outside, the oil is transparent and liquid. If it is room temperature or cooler, it is whitish and more solid. Then it can be called coconut fat, but it is exactly the same product.
How to get the highest quality oil?
There are different ways to get the oil out of the pulp. Our oil is cold-pressed, which means that no heat has been used, only pressing, completely mechanically. Such coconut oil is called "virgin oil". There is also hot-pressed and refined oil, but not at Pureness , where we care about nutritional content. The cold-pressed coconut oil has been handled carefully, so that all the important fatty acids and nutrients are retained.
Is coconut oil healthy to eat?
Coconut saturated fats are considered to be unusually good for their content of Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), among other things. MCTs provide rapid energy conversion, without being stored as fat in the body. It can therefore be a healthier alternative to butter, for example - and is particularly popular in LCHF.
Coconut oil in the kitchen
Coconut oil is excellent for heating and can therefore be used as cooking fat and oil in your cooking and baking. It has no trans fats in it and cannot even form trans fats when heated. Moreover, because our oil is cold-pressed, as mentioned above, the delicious aroma and taste remain. In LCHF and biohacking, a dollop of coconut fat in your morning coffee is popular - but try our MCT Oil even more!
Coconut oil in the bathroom cabinet
The oil is excellent for beauty routines. Coconut oil has some anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial properties and can work well against fungus. In addition, it can make your skin smooth, and is nice to use on your body after a shower. Some people use coconut oil as a hair mask, others as a make-up remover, for shaving, for eczema or as an after sun. Gargling with coconut oil can reduce bacteria in the mouth and be a good complement to brushing your teeth.
Coconut fat for anything
If all this wasn't enough, coconut oil can be used to lubricate leather, furniture or frying pans. To use as a lighter fluid or to lubricate locks and hinges. As I said, there is almost too much to say about coconut oil! We'll settle for this, and instead encourage you to try it for yourself, with the best coconut oil you can find.
