Did I hear light therapy? 👂🏻📣😍
I L O V E light therapy 💡✨ This mask is just another example of a fantastic product from Silk’n. As some of you know, I got to test Silk’n’s LED/EMS mask as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER and have been completely hooked ever since. I also started a treatment for melasma at the same time, and the results were out of this world. When Silk’n released the LED Face Mask PRO, I was IMMEDIATELY curious. The mask comes with 7 advanced LED modes compared to 4 on the EMS mask, 5 powerful wavelengths, and also Silk’n’s patented Caeli lenses that contribute to a more even and better light distribution. I wrote to Silk’n to ask questions about how the mask worked, and they offered me to test it for free 🥹💖 What I appreciated was that they were straightforward and honest that this is not necessarily an upgrade but rather a mask with a different focus area. The LED/EMS mask works with microcurrents to reduce fine lines and work on skin firmness, while the LED Face Mask PRO is optimized specifically for light therapy. I have now tested the mask for about a month, and I am completely sold. ✨ Let’s start with the practical The advantages are that the mask is completely wireless and comes with a storage bag, making it easy to take with you. It is also designed to go under the chin while fitting tighter around the eyes than the LED/EMS mask. The light therefore doesn’t leak in the same way. For pure light therapy, the LED Face Mask PRO is the better choice. Since it doesn’t have EMS plates, it can fit more LED lights. I also find that the light covers the skin more evenly while reaching better around the mouth and under the chin. If, however, you want to focus more on firmness, muscle toning, and lifting the face, the LED/EMS mask is the right choice for you. 🚦 The mask comes with several different lights and wavelengths ❤️ Red light (633nm) Stimulates collagen production, improves blood circulation, and works on fine lines and skin elasticity 💙 Blue light (463nm) Targets bacteria that cause acne, reduces redness, and helps give clearer skin 🧡 Amber light (605nm) Soothes sensitive skin while working on pigmentation, redness, and uneven skin tone 🤍 Near-infrared + deep near-infrared (830nm + 1072nm) Works deeper in the skin to stimulate recovery, improve skin texture, and strengthen skin firmness and elasticity. ❤️🔥 Red + near-infrared + deep near-infrared (633nm + 830nm + 1072nm) Combines the benefits of red and infrared light to work on anti-aging, firmness, and skin rejuvenation 💜 Blue + red + near-infrared + deep near-infrared (463nm + 633nm + 830nm + 1072nm) A more all-round mode that works on acne, redness, skin texture, and skin quality for clearer and more balanced skin 🧡❤️ Amber + red + near-infrared + deep near-infrared (605nm + 633nm + 830nm + 1072nm) Focuses on glow, more even skin tone, calmer skin, and improved firmness What you should keep in mind when investing in an LED mask is that the mask can’t do the job entirely on its own. I personally believe the results are best when using light therapy together with optimized skincare. I always use the mask before applying my products because the products absorb better into the skin after use. If you’re curious about the results, you can find them under the LED/EMS mask. ✨ ⚠️ I also want to raise a small warning finger to those of you with melasma. Some light modes, e.g., blue, can trigger pigmentation instead of improving it, so read up on which wavelengths are suitable for melasma. Have you also tried every serum against pigmentation without really affecting melasma? I know how expensive and frustrating it can be. My tip to you is to contact a dermatologist; there is help available. In combination with the right skincare and an LED mask, it can help you on your way. *The collaboration is unpaid, but I received the mask for free.751 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 2 weeks@Ida, I think NIR is actually the best program for everything, because it penetrates the deepest into the skin. By going deep, it makes the skin more receptive to your skincare products, which therefore work better in combination with the mask 😍😍😍

Use for dark skin tone
Hi, I wonder if the product can be used for dark skin tone?108 views - The post was made 1 weekRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
FITS WELL, EASY TO USE, ONE CHARGE LASTS FOR 4 DIFFERENT PROGRAMS
I bought this LED mask about a week ago and have used it 3 times (not recommended to use so often the first time!!!). I have PSOS and problems with hormonal pimples. The mask fits well and comfortably, fully protects the eyes, is easy to use and understand. I fully charged it and then tried two different sessions on myself and then let the mask sit on the table with different programs. The fourth made a sound and lasted 10 minutes. The fifth program wouldn’t start. One charge takes about 3 hours. I haven’t tried other LED masks; this is my first, and I feel very satisfied with the purchase! Now I have used blue light twice during a week (not recommended!!!), but I already see a difference. For me, it’s as if the impurities have taken a step back. I get a pleasant and clean feeling afterward. The only thing I find a bit negative is the band with LED under the chin, since it’s made of silicone and when you put it on “correctly” it doesn’t lay the way I would like, but with a little imagination when you put the velcro straps together in a “slanted” way, it lights up where I want it to reach. This setup doesn’t feel wrong when the mask is on and doesn’t look wrong either, I just wish it had been bent differently from the start. I have also complemented this mask with Torrinden serum. Take care!2201 views - The post was made 2 weeks
Perioral Dermatitis?
Hi there! Is this suitable for treating perioral dermatitis? :)816 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 weekHi Nina 😊 This is not specifically developed for or clinically proven to treat perioral dermatitis. Since the skin with perioral dermatitis is often extra sensitive, LED treatment can in some cases cause irritation or worsen symptoms. If you have perioral dermatitis, we therefore recommend consulting a dermatologist before using the product. Have a nice day! 🌼

Which mode gives the best results for skin firmness?
Hi! I see that the Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro has red light, NIR, and Deep NIR. Which of the modes do you find customers are usually most satisfied with for anti-aging and skin firmness? LYKO Lyko Kundservice Thanks! ☺️927 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 2 weeksHi 😊 For anti-aging and skin firmness, we mainly recommend the Deep Red mode (Mode 5), as it combines both red light and the deep-penetrating NIR wavelengths for maximum collagen stimulation. Have a great day! 🌼1 likes

The best of them all
I have tried a number of LED masks over the years, both Swedish and internationally made masks. Silk’n pro is by far the best of them all. The only thing I can think of is that I wish there was a display where I can see which mode the mask is in. Right now, I have to press through all the modes, and you can’t go back if you accidentally pass a mode. But otherwise - very satisfied 👍1826 views - The post was made 3 weeks
Usage
Hi! Why should it be used so rarely in the beginning?903 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 2 weeksHi Ronnie 😊 When starting to use the Silk’n LED Face Mask Pro, a more cautious start is recommended because the skin needs time to get used to the light treatment. LED light affects the skin’s cellular processes, for example by stimulating collagen and cell renewal, and a gradual introduction reduces the risk of temporary reactions such as redness, dryness, or increased sensitivity. It also makes it easier for the skin to adapt and allows you to see how it reacts before moving up to full usage frequency. At the same time, the effect of LED treatment is based on regular use over time rather than intensity, so there are no extra benefits to using the mask more often than recommended at the beginning. Have a great day! 🌼2 likes

Price
Is this the latest version? Why is it 100 euros cheaper here than on the official site and, for example, the Douglas site?1189 views- The comment was made 1 monthI see today that it is more expensive again on your website, probably you had a promotion/sale day yesterday. Luckily, I also ordered it right away yesterday, saves 100 euros🤭 I am very curious. Thanks for your response anyway!

Sensitive skin
Does this work to treat skin with dermatitis? And can it be used during treatment with Protopic?1172 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 1 monthHejsan Caroline!☺️ Silk’n states that the mask can be used on sensitive skin 🌿 However, they recommend being cautious with skin conditions or treatments that make the skin more sensitive. Since Protopic can make the skin more reactive, I would therefore recommend that you double-check with your dermatologist before using the mask during the treatment 🩷 All the best!1 likes

Poor battery capacity
Really like the mask, how it fits and all the different modes you can choose from. BUT disappointed that the charge doesn't last... It's a fantastic idea to make an LED mask wireless but then you shouldn't have to charge it after every use😣🫠 After a full day of charging, the battery works for two sessions, that is 2x10 minutes. I wish you didn't have to charge it all the time, it's hard to use it regularly as you want with an LED mask when you have to remember to charge it every day 🙂1494 views - The post was made 1 month
Lifting effect
Hi, I am 46 years old, have very few wrinkles, mostly on the forehead they are the most visible. My biggest problem is the double chin. I need a product/mask that can have a lifting effect there, as well as around the lips and eyes. I wonder if you can recommend this one, or maybe another product1389 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 1 monthHi 😊 This can definitely be a good option if you’re looking for an at-home treatment that works on skin quality, firmness, and radiance. It uses LED light that can stimulate collagen and improve skin elasticity over time. However, it’s important to know that LED masks don’t provide an immediate “lift” for things like a double chin; rather, the effect is more about the skin becoming firmer and smoother with regular use. Studies and experts describe it as a gradual improvement in skin texture rather than an instant tightening. Have a great day! 💌
