The question we get asked most: how do you make the curls last longer? Here are our top 5 tricks. 1. Prep your hair first 🧖♀️ Start with clean, freshly washed hair using products suited to your hair type — this removes excess oil and helps curls hold. Before styling, apply a pre-styling product with hold for extra texture, and finish tighter curls with a spritz of hairspray. 2. Don't over-dry (or under-dry) 👩 Blow-dry with the concentrator first — the SilkyAir Flex has excellent heat protection. Get your roots 100% dry and the lengths about 80%, then use the auto-wrap as the final step of your blow-dry rather than a separate curling step. 3. Work in small sections 👱♀️ Smaller pieces let the airflow reach every strand for a more even result. 4. Use the cool shot ❄️ Curl on heat, then hit the cool shot before releasing the hair — this locks the curl in place. 5. Wait before brushing out ⏳ Let curls cool completely before brushing, especially tighter ones.
