    Hellooo pigmentation

This is probably the craziest self-tanner gel I've tried 🤩 gives a proper color without being sticky. However, you need to be careful during application as it disappears into the skin quickly. If you're not super flexible, it might also be a good idea to get a little help to massage some gel onto your back - I've gotten VERY clear markings from where I stopped to 😂 It should also be mentioned that I used a VERY thin layer to achieve this result. Next time, I'll have my partner assist for an even result on my back too 💁🏼‍♀️

    Gel is yellowish

Hi! I just opened my package from Lyko and the gel looks really yellowish. The products I bought earlier were transparent. Is the product spoiled?

Hi Senni! A slightly yellowish tint does not necessarily mean that the product is defective. The color can vary slightly between different batches, and the ingredients of the product can also affect it. If the scent and texture seem normal, the product should be completely usable 🤍 If you suspect that there is something wrong with the product, we recommend making a complaint to us so that we can naturally investigate the matter further. All the best!

    Really like

Absorbs quickly, so you can apply several layers to get extra tan. Doesn’t smell much like self-tanner. Feels more moisturizing than other self-tanners, which is so nice especially if your skin tends to be on the drier side. Natural result, you can’t see that you’ve used self-tanner. So nice that you don’t have to rinse off the product like with a mousse. I always use a velvet tanning mitt. The one I use is from Tanrevel. Almost doesn’t stain at all, it has happened to me once that it got a little discolored on a white sheet or a white dress but it’s really not much compared to others. It gets very brown but I love being super tan so I would have liked to be a bit more brown but I can actually just apply an extra layer, but I’m too lazy haha. I usually do two layers of self-tanner with this and I think it looks good. It also doesn’t get very blotchy when the tan fades. Great price at Normal and Dollarstore. Will definitely buy again!!

    Atopic skin

Is this suitable for atopic skin? I have previously used the brand St. Moriz, but it didn't work for me as it started to itch despite the bad smell.😞

I also have atopic skin and I love this. However, you have to be quick so it doesn’t dry in, because if it does, it leaves streaks once it starts to work. Hard to see where you applied it, etc. I used extra moisture on elbows, knees, and knuckles, which I still think is a downside, and maybe it’s because of my skin type that it disappears quickly. I moisturize, but after a shower half of it is gone and patchy. But I put a layer on top and it looks okay 🙈

    Good

This is good because it doesn't get sticky, doesn't transfer, and is easy to apply. However, I would recommend applying it with a tanning mitt and not with your hands or plastic gloves, as it can become streaky and patchy. The downside is that it can turn very yellow, patchy, and it tends to crack easily and look dry. Unfortunately, I wouldn't buy it again because of the yellow color 🩷#lykoreview

    The application

How should you apply this? With your hands like with a tanning lotion or with a mitt like with a self-tanner?

Hey Lo! 👋🏼 This can be applied both with your hands or with an application mitt – just as you prefer. I recommend the mitt if you want an extra even application and to avoid color on your hands, but if you want to do it quickly, it works fine with your hands too ✨ 🧤 lyko.com/sv/b-tan/b.tan-i-don-t-want-tan-on-my-hands-tan-mitt-0 Have a nice day ☀️

    Awesome

Gives a nice color without a strong scent. Doesn't transfer and dries quickly into the skin!

    really like this!

I apply it with a velvet glove and feel that it is easy to get even, despite not having a guide color since it glides so easily over the skin. it's a bit like a self-tan lotion, only the color is much stronger, and you don't need multiple applications in a week, so I find it to be economical in use. it doesn't transfer onto the skin and dries quickly, in my opinion, but doesn't give suuuper much moisture, even with HA in it. less effort than mousse since it doesn't need to be rinsed off! the duration is quite okay, maybe 4-5 days? can get a bit patchy on the arms when it starts to fade, but is very even otherwise really. I usually boost both color and duration with gradual lotion after a few days🧡 NOTE NOTE - if you hate self-tan smell, stay away from this hahah, it smells insanely strong after a few hours

    Pregnancy

Is it safe to use this while pregnant?

Hi Emilia, Thank you for your question! 💗 The product contains dihydroxyacetone (DHA), which is the most common active ingredient in self-tanning products. HUS recommends avoiding the use of DHA during pregnancy, as its effects on fetal development have not been specifically studied. We recommend discussing this with a doctor or midwife if you have questions about the product's safety during pregnancy. Have a lovely day! 🌷🤗
