A pretty decent budget brush
The BaByliss Teasing Brush definitely does its job of building volume at a very good price. The bristles on this model are quite "coarse" if you're used to a brush with "finer" bristles, which I was looking for since my current one was worn out, so it doesn't quite give that smooth, even touch when you smooth the surface. It teases quickly, but if you want to slick the hair down, the result is a bit "rougher" compared to brushes with "finer" bristles, which is especially noticeable for me with fine hair. Really beautiful colors and plus for drying pretty quickly! A huge disappointment after 20 years 💔
I have faithfully bought this mousse for more than two decades, and it has been my absolute "holy grail" for styling. But after they recently changed the formula, it is unfortunately completely useless. It has lost everything that made it so good from the start, that solid hold and firm hardness that actually kept the hairstyle in place all day is completely gone. Now it just feels watery and powerless in comparison and doesn’t even have half the hold it used to. Definitely one of my top favorite lashes! They are really super pretty, but the best thing about them is that they are very easy to apply and barely felt on the eyes when wearing them. I usually reuse each pair once before throwing them away. The only small downside is that they are a bit too long for my taste, so I wish they were a bit shorter. But that’s easily fixed by trimming them yourself to the desired length, you just have to be a little careful not to accidentally cut off too much. Unfortunately, this glue was not great. The consistency was way too watery and the lashes barely stuck at all, so it went straight into the trash.
