  Lovely series but caused irritated scalp

  I have been using this shampoo, conditioner, and hair mask from Björn Axén's Moisture series for about a month now. I bought the series because my hair was in great need of moisture, and I also loved the scent! I have also been satisfied with other products from Björn Axén before, so my expectations were quite high. At first, I was super happy. My hair became very soft, smooth, and moisturized without feeling heavy, which was exactly the result I was after. I also noticed that my hair stayed fresh and clean longer between washes, which was a big plus and something I didn’t expect since my hair usually gets oily quickly, especially when using products with a lot of moisture. Unfortunately, my experience changed after a few weeks of use. After about a month, I started getting scabs and irritation on my scalp. I usually don’t have a particularly sensitive scalp, so this surprised me a lot. I stopped using the series to see if it was the cause, and after I stopped, the problem disappeared. It feels disappointing because otherwise, I really liked the products – especially how my hair felt afterward and the fantastic scent. But since my scalp doesn’t seem to tolerate the series, I won’t use it continuously in the future, but rather occasionally when I feel my hair needs a moisture boost. If you’re tempted to try this series, I would recommend first buying the smallest size to make sure the products are something your scalp can handle, especially if you know you have a scalp that tends to react to certain products. But apart from that, I think the products are fantastic if you want a series with a lot of moisture that makes your hair soft and manageable. If it weren’t for how my scalp reacted, I would have given the products 5⭐️
